In for a mix of tapas, both international and belgium dishes, go to kantien, a local restobar which serves delicious food combined with a great drink. On top of that it has a view over the watersportbaan where lots of people go for a run... Good to know for the ladies... Also, the local rowing-club... ;-)

Enjoy a Belgian dish/beer while watching the sun go down over the water. This restaurant/bar is the home of the royal rowing club of Ghent, right besides the 2,3 km long "watersportbaan"

Hier kan je de roeiers zien zwoegen, terwijl je op het terras van een biertje geniet. Ruime keuze aan bieren, ciders, wijnen en limonades, 's avonds te combineren met tapas en andere bar bites.
