Porcelain - so sophisticated, luxurious and fragile, yet unimaginably different in the hands of inspired artists. The Riga Porcelain Museum unveils the exciting world of porcelain design development and manufacturing traditions from the middle of the 19th century until the 1990s and contemporary processes of porcelain art. The museum's collection consists of almost 8,000 objects.

Основу коллекции Музея фарфора составляют изделия, изготовленные на Рижском фарфоровом заводе в 1950-1990-х гг. 20 века, а также предметы, изготовленные на фабрике Кузнецова, основанной в 1841 г., и фабрике Йессена, основанной в 1886 г. Экспозиция представлена более 6 тыс. предметов. В отдельной секции музея представлены фарфоровые изделия, созданные для идеологически важных событий советского времени.
