What? Cold pizza and without cheese topping? Pizza strips (sometimes referred to as “bakery-style pizza) are a very good and unique Rhode Island traditional food.

If you’re willing to take the ride to Federal Hill Providence, be sure to grab a pie at this legendary local pizza joint. Some of the best around.

Wimpy-skippys! They sound ridiculous, but they are pepperoni/spinach calzones that are better than any calzone you've every had. Also make good pizza and right near Pastiche for dessert. Get take-out and go sit on the fountain in the nearby square for a perfect Federal Hill experience.
