In the 19th century it was possible to travel by boat from London to Littlehampton on the south coast of England via Weybridge, Guildford, Pulborough and Arundel. Over the years the Canal virtually disappeared and is currently being restored. Visit Loxwood to see the finished section of the canal, and take a boat trip or walk along the tow path.
