Pafos Bird and animal Park. The Paphos Zoo contains over 1200 different animals from all over the world. The visitor can see small and large mammals, predatory cats, herbivores, tropical birds, reptiles and domestic animals. A special place in the zoo is given to rare Amur tigers and Transvaal lions with white coat color. The zoo is also home to families of elephants and giraffes. The latter can be hand-fed. Special food is sold next to their enclosure. There are also cages with monkeys, meerkats, crocodile, kangaroos, albino wallabies, mouflons, ostriches, penguins, storks, etc. on the territory. Paphos Zoo is the largest collection of parrots and snakes in Europe. Due to its developed infrastructure and variety of animals, the zoo in Paphos is one of the top attractions in Cyprus. A great and exiting day out for all ages not just the little ones. Privately owned and all the animals are very well cared for and looked happy. One ticket price for the whole day. Well worth a visit.
