Only a 10 minute walk from our property, Scarborough market is a must to visit! Having recently undergone a £2.7m refurb, it is home to a variety of local vendors you will find fresh bread, fruit, seafood, a number of cafes are also inside this wonderful building. Just underneath the market, you will find the vaults with approx 20 shops selling anything from vintage records, jewellery, clothing etc. It also hosts a number of music events throughout the year.

Recently refurbished with great local butchers, greengrocers, cafes and shops. Fantastic fishmonger and bakery.

A beautiful indoor market hall (1852) that sells good quality fresh fruit and veg & has an interesting selection of unique shops & cafe upstairs. There is a small labyrinth of vaults underneath the market hall that sell antiques, collectables & second hand goods. A great place to get an early morning English fry up & do some people watching.

Fantastic butchers “Mark Knockles’ , wonderful fruit and vegetable stalls, fresh fish, baking and sit down cafes. Tell Mark that Jacqui & Dave Shipman sent you and that you are staying with us!
