This is my favorite beach. It is like being at the ocean but without the salt water and fear of sharks and jelly fish. If you are feeling ambitious take some firewood. You can have a fire on the beach in the sand in the evening. When you take the trail to the water, if you turn left there is a small creek for the little ones to play in if Lake MI is too much wave for them.

Great beach, usually only a few locals around, fun drive back to the beach and you can walk for miles along the sandy shoreline in either direction.

Gorgeous public beach access only 15 min drive away! Update for those who remember the potholes, as of November 2022, Esch Rd is now freshly paved and the views are spectacular as ever!
