The Cafe is a well known and well loved staple restaurant of Ames located in the lager area of Somerset on 2616 Northridge Pkwy. The Cafe offers a casual scene with their coffe bar and booths and a sophisticated scene for lunch and dinner- not to mention their amazing desserts!

As farm to table as possible. Over half of the menu rotates for what is best in season. Perfect for dates, groups, or foodies! Some the best dessert you’ll find in Ames.

Often crowded, but great all round restaurant. Also good for picking up morning pastries and coffee. Fresh bread daily. Great Sunday brunch - go early!
