The Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Our Lord (Czech: Kostel Nejsvětějšího Srdce Páně) is a Roman Catholic church at Jiřího z Poděbrad Square in Prague's Vinohrady district. It was built between 1929 and 1932 and designed by the Slovene architect Jože Plečnik.[1] Plečnik found the inspiration for this construction in old Christian and ancient patterns.
Roman Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus stands on the square by George of Podebrady. The church has a large main tower with six bells and large round clock, which reaches a height of 42 m.
Small park near what the locals refer to as "the modern church" (since it was built in the 1920's). There is a farmers market here every Wed and Sat.
