We went on the guided prison tour with former Shrewsbury prison officer Graham. We really, really enjoyed it. To have a tour from prison officers who actually worked in the prison when it was open was very special. I was amazed to hear about all the goings on! When the tour had ended we went for another look around. Wrap up warm as it’s cold in there.

Recently featured in the drama 'Time' staring Sean Bean, visitors can tour the empty cells of this 18th century prison that said goodbye to its last inmate in 2013.
