Welcome to Hummingbird House, where you can rest and relax in your own container home in the country. We have designed two containers with your comfort in mind. Whether you want to relax inside the bedroom and listen to our record collection or chill out in the large outdoor tub surrounded by our lush landscaping we will make sure you have everything you need. Our Cabin In The City offers the best of both worlds: a tranquil retreat in nature, with easy access to a host of amenities and activities. Just a short drive away, a charming array of dining options awaits you. Including the shimmering waters of nearby Lake Ray Hubbard, offers opportunities for fishing or simply basking in the sun on a lazy afternoon. The Cabin is romantic, quiet, and with the beauty of the great outdoors and intimacy. Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature.

Magnolia - Hot Tub Gazebo - City Escapes Cabins

Reserve a romantic cabin for two and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our jacuzzi tub and shower are big enough for two, and don't forget to visit our hot tub with its own gazebo. We also have a hanging day bed on the front porch; it's perfect for snuggling with your favorite person. There's a full kitchenette available, or you can visit fantastic restaurants that are just minutes away. We're located right between Glen Rose and Granbury, and there's plenty to do nearby.

Chertecho Tree Tower

Designed to connect with the natural systems of a special place, Chertecho sits among the trees on a 5-acre rocky slope overlooking the Pedernales River Valley. An outdoor stair system connects the three levels - a covered rooftop deck; a second-floor master suite; and a ground floor kitchen space. Glass walls open to the wooded slopes of Big Hill, a ridge separating the Pedernales and Guadalupe watersheds halfway between Comfort and Fredericksburg. A place to unplug, and reconnect.

Nature awaits behind the private security gates for taking a leisurely walk on the half mile “driveway” or venture out on country roads and enjoy the wildlife.

Leaf Treehouse at The Meadow

The Leaf Treehouse (~300sqft) is perched among sturdy live oaks on our slice of Texas heaven just ten minutes from Main Street Fredericksburg. Its cozy and stylish interior includes a king bed with organic cotton sheets, a thoughtfully stocked kitchenette, a full bathroom with a rain shower, a padded reading nook with a round window, and an outdoor bathtub on the upper deck. Barn Loft Luxury at a Texas Longhorn Ranch

True Texas experience in the barn at a small ranch. See one of the biggest steers in the world at 13.5 long.. Stay in a luxurious loft in the barn constructed with whitewashed shiplap and rustic timbers. Big oversized windows and view the stables and pasture. The oversized cowboy bathtub is a converted water trough. This space features an open floor plan that includes 2 queen plus 1 twin size beds, a kitchenette and entertainment center. Vaulted ceilings make for a cozy stay.
