100% would recommend staying here. It’s really clean and super quiet, definitely a great spot if you just want to relax and enjoy the stay. It’s great that it’s so close to the grocery store and the city isn’t super far either but far enough to where it feels peaceful. Loved it!

My husband stayed at the bird point cabin for 3 full days to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my husband’s birthday. We loved the privacy we had at the cabin and how close it was to Main Street. The cabin was very cute and perfect for this trip. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would stay at the bird point cabin again if we find ourselves back in Fredericksburg.

This is THE best getaway! It is so beautiful…. All the beauty you are surrounded with. So clean.. feels like a home I would love to ensure you daughter can learn to appreciate the REAL beauty of life. Coming back for my birthday and anniversary! This was such an amazing gift to experience. If you ever need to push the “reset “ button, I HIGHLY recommend coming here…

My husband and I absolutely loved the little cabin nestle into the woods kind of vibe.. It was so peaceful & such an adorable cabin. Debbie such a great host & quick to answer all my questions. Thanks for making it such a beautiful & special place for folks to enjoy!!

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our three night stay. Ryan responded to all of our questions quickly. The location is beautiful and close to Fredericksburg. The backroad drives are lovely. Thank you for the use of your property.

My husband and I rented this cabin for 3 Days 2 nights anniversary stay. We really enjoyed the seclusion of not being super close to Neighbors, surrounded by trees and nature. It was very peaceful and Serene. The cabin had many amenities to keep us entertained while having romantic evenings. We loved the vaulted ceilings, the large porches, the hot tub, the porch swing was one of my favorite places to sit, and we loved the large two shower head shower. It was also cool that there was trails to the pond and other games to play in the coffee table. We had such a good time there and would recommend this cabin for any reason to go stay there. We hope to return in the future!

We had a great time celebrating my husband’s birthday. The cabin was clean and cozy and even decorated for Easter. Kevin is very friendly and responsive. We caught lots of fish from the private dock. The jacuzzi and fire pit made it even more relaxing. The environment is so peaceful. There were people staying in the other cabins when we were there, but we still had our own secluded space. The cabin is only a short 15 min drive from towns with restaurants. We ate several times at the Dairy Palace. They have good food and ice cream for his birthday treat. We were able to purchase bait from Tommy’s Tackle Box (recommended by Kevin) in Eustace. We also found a good Bbq place (Dubb’s Smoke Pitt) and farmers market stand right down the street from the bait store. We hope to return again and highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful outdoor getaway.

The stay was amazing! We spotted deer every morning we were there. The host was very accommodating and communicated quickly throughout our stay. Thank you for an amazing trip.

My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary and Easter at this beautiful property! We loved that it was secluded and we were able to enjoy sitting on the back porch and watch deer. One of the special treats…They provide farm fresh eggs, Coke, Coke Zero, hot tea, and coffee. Additionally biscuits & o.j. (When you let them know)! There was a storm that came in and we felt safe, never lost power, and they checked on us to make sure we were ok! We were not focused on tv time or our phones, but internet is limited. The location is secluded, which is exactly what we were looking for. There are games and a dvd player with movies, and books too! The drive is absolutely gorgeous, but it does take about 25-30 minutes to get to Fredericksburg. Which was perfectly fine with us to enjoy time together! The time we spent at the cabin was perfect! You’ll definitely want to grab your bags and reserve your stay now!

Ms. Whitley was just amazing. The cabin was so beautiful the view was beautiful my wife and i can not wait to come back but next time we would want to stay longer. There was so much to do in such little time. We absolutely loved it there and so did our dogs.

I booked this cabin for my fiancés birthday. I was looking for a place where we could relax, enjoy nature, and feel far from the city and busy schedules. This place did not disappoint! We were able to spend quality time together while hanging out in the river or simply enjoying the ambience of the cabin and property. Bonus points for being pet friendly! I loved being able to include my Pebbles in our trip and adventures!

Such a peaceful space with the friendliest cows EVER! :) Beautiful setting - and such a great step-away from the big city... with only sounds of mother nature. I spent a peaceful afternoon on the patio and cherished visits from beautiful cardinals, hummingbirds, and countless other beauties. The cabin is pristine, not a bug in sight, which is hard to pull off in the country, the strong scent of mothballs may be keeping them at bay. I enjoyed this place so much and was not ready to leave.

Such wonderful hosts! Gave us a tour of the property prior to our stay since we were hosting a large gathering and communicated with us every step of the way! Didn’t end up actually staying in the cabin, but the outdoor space was great!

Liked it so well last year, we stayed this year. Some maintenance issues found but communicated them and should be resolved by the next person’s stay.

We enjoy staying at Sunset cabin when we visit our daughter and her family. The place is perfect for relaxing and has just what we need.

Great stay as usual… beautiful and peaceful surroundings…. Cabin was very clean and neat…easy entry and exit… friendly and helpful hosts… no problems at all. Will stay again at the first opportunity.. perfect place for some rest and relaxation. Local restaurants are great…. Spicewood and Magoo’s… penny’s for breakfast.

My husband and I stayed for our honeymoon and we absolutely LOVED it! Our dogs had the best time also. The views were great, so much available from fishing rods, bait, grills and kitchen utensils. Also, the DVD collection was impressive! We loved the property so much, we will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend for anyone trying to get away and relax. However, Walmart is only 20 min away so you still can get essentials easily. The Kurig stopped working randomly and Adam offered to go get another, which we declined because we aren’t huge coffee drinks but him offering was super nice! We also were considering changing our check-in/check-out dates, and he also was super flexible to any changes. Can’t wait to come back!!!

We loved the decks, fire pit and parking. Cabins were clean well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again.

I’m writing this review instead of my husband because I have OCD and am incredibly particular about cleanliness and comfort when staying at other people’s homes. That being said… this lake house was practically PERFECT! I had zero issues with cleanliness and found myself daydreaming about living here forever. It was such a relief to not feel the usual stress and hesitation about touching anything or even walking barefoot on the floors—everything was spotless. NO CLOTHES WERE HIDDEN BEHIND CURTAINS (for some reason most homes we’ve stayed at have this problem)!!! I legit took pictures of their interior design highlight to get ideas for my own home too. The hosts thought of every tiny detail to make the stay welcoming and comfortable (they made elephants out of towels! What beautiful human thought of that?!)!I would recommend this place 1000% to even my closest family members! I truly hope I get the chance to come back soon. THANK YOU to the wonderful hosts for giving me hope in AirBnB!

Me and my friends had such a great time hiking and exploring the surrounding areas it’s right in between austin, marble falls, and fredrigsburg! I would definitely recommend staying here!

I booked this place for my family of 4 and the view of the lake was beautiful. Gene was very friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the amount of bugs that made their way inside but nothing that couldn’t be squished😅. There is a long dirt bumpy road that is surrounded by forest so I was not one to wanna drive at night. But there was plenty to do there with so many activities provided to keep you busy. My family and I really enjoyed our stay w/ Gene.

Once again this cabin was EXACTLY the getaway I needed. Had another great weekend and I’m so thankful that I got to spend my birthday here and recharge. The nature walks were so perfect and everything is so green and alive! So many comfy spots to relax. My favorite this weekend were the pullout chair in the living room, the main bedroom, the porch, and under several different trees. Kitchen is stocked with supplies so we were able to easily make a whole steak dinner. Can’t wait to come back!!
