Overall great experience and we would recommend! Alberto was very helpful and responsive, and Paula the housekeeper was also lovely and so helpful. Fantastic location with coffee shops, restaurants, and gorgeous beaches all within 5-10 minutes easy walking, but not right in the middle of the most touristy part of town-- perfect! Private carport for a small car, behind a locked gate-- very secure! (VNDM is super safe and friendly anyway, but having that private parking area was still nice.) The multiple terraces on this home are wonderful-- great views of the sun and sky. There was a big construction project happening behind the unit that we were not expecting, but the noise was not bad and the unit is quiet when windows closed. Home does not have a lot of the "little things" like spices, laundry soap etc so you'll need to purchase a few small items, but overall had all we needed and we had a great stay.

Petra and Herberts' place, Figos 2, really is a slice of paradise. We cannot recommend it enough!

Such an incredible airbnb. Ricardo was really accommodating for our check in requests and left a delicious welcome basket. The apartment was spotless and so beautifully decorated, with anything and everything you may need, including super comfy beds. Incredible value for money. Thanks again, and highly recommend anyone to stay here!

Beste Joost en Gini, bedankt voor de warme ontvangst, leuk om jullie verhaal te horen. Het huisje is gezellig, compleet uitgerust en we hebben er heerlijk geslapen met onze twee kinderen. We genoten van de prachtige ruime tuin en natuur om het huisje, en de kinderen waren blij met de schommel en trampoline. Ook erg genoten van het eten en de sfeer bij restaurant Nirvana op 15 min rijden, bedankt voor de tip. Helaas konden we maar 2 nachten blijven, hopelijk tot een volgende keer en dan blijven we graag langer! we hebben jullie ervaren als heel behulpzaam, gastvrij, open en gezellig! Bedankt voor alles! Lovely room within close (<5 mins) walking distance of the Franquia beach, which family friendly (good sand and calm waters). Also easy to walk to town. Nice pool in a tranquil garden with swings for relaxing after a day at the beach. Room is comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen. Wifi worked although a bit patchy. Calm location although noise from doors etc in other rooms does reverberate a bit. A special word for the staff who were very friendly in general but amazingly helpful after a slip meant our son needed some medical help - they went out of their way to take care of everything. Thanks so much!

We had a lovely stay at Carolina's place. Her communication was great and the .pdf she sent prior to our arrival was really appreciated - so much great information, super helpful. The location was great, totally walkable city and easy to get around, just a stones throw from the lovely beach. Plus we had a nice selection of restaurants just blocks away. The entire beach area, (recommend small walk north and south) were outstanding.

A estadia foi incrível. O espaço é muito acolhedor, muito limpo e tem um toque especial onde se nota que os anfitriões colocaram muito amor e carinho. Sentimo-nos como se estivéssemos em casa e fomos muito bem recebidos durante toda a estadia. É um espaço tranquilo onde dá para descansar e com um espaço exterior encantador com o extra de ter amigos de 4 patas tão simpáticos quanto os anfitriões, que são pessoas incríveis. Está próximo de vários pontos interessantes para visitar. Na minha opinião foram dos anfitriões mais atenciosos e que merecem pontos extra além das 5 estrelas, pois também eles colocam uma dedicação extra demonstrada nos pequenos e grandes pormenores. Senhora Margarida e Senhor Pedro um até já. Voltaremos certamente um dia!

Die Unterkunft ist für uns die schönste in der wir je waren!😍 Sie ist wirklich noch schöner als es auf den Bildern rüberkommt! Auch die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!:)

Thank you so much to Tiago for the use of the house. It is in a perfect location with Porto Covo a great spot to explore this part of Portugal's coast and enjoy some surfing. We were looking for somewhere walkable, where we could relax in the evening. The house is very well situated with an easy 5 mins. walk west to the beach, 5 mins. south to village square and restaurants. Tiago gave us some recommendations before we arrived and all were great! There are larger supermarkets near Sines, about 20 minutes away with the coastal road separating them lined with surf hire places (We tried Pig Dog, Flavio & Costazul depending on the waves and all were v. responsive & good fun) and atmospheric beaches. In terms of check-in, it was very straight-forward & Fatima highly responsive. The house is exactly like the photos with plenty of beds & a great open living area - both indoor and outdoor, where we relaxed after the surfing. Definitely a home-from-home. We had an amazing week!

Highly recommend this place! It was exactly what we needed for a friends’ trip; everyone had their own bedroom with a bathroom, kitchenette and balcony! The location is amazing — rural, quiet, beautiful — but only 40 mins away from some of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal. The hosts were so friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed. I’d book again in a heartbeat!

The house was so charming and comfortable. So much nicer in person than the pictures portray. It was always a delight to come back home to this cosy little refuge. We were weather beaten after days at various stunning beaches, so coming back to the oasis of a garden and comfortable house was a delight each day. Proper furniture, to relax in, unlike some other stays, plus the house was fitted out with everything you could / would need. A real home from home. Handy amount of land in addition to the garden on the property, so our dog was happy and had plenty of room to explore, shelter and relax. The bakery in the village supplies the most amazing cakes/ treats / delights. I’d recommend anyone staying to stock up from there! Ines was super helpful and flexible. We arrived early and she was incredibly accommodating. Lots of help to find the dog friendly beaches too, so that was great. We loved this little house and it’s high timber ceilings. Eine tolle, ruhige Unterkunft und gut gelegen für Wandertouren in der Umgebung oder einen Abstecher an den Strand (jeweils 15-20 Minuten). Die Beschreibung zur Unterkunft war super und so war sie sehr einfach zu erreichen. Auch so sind Marlene und ihr Vater sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Ein Auto ist von Vorteil, sonst muss man die Einkäufe ein Stück tragen ;-) Ein kleiner Hinweis und eine Anmerkung: Auf dem Bauernhof leben zwei Hunde, diese sind jedoch super lieb! :-) Ein zweites Wischtuch und Spülmittel haben wir nicht gefunden, aber das ist kein Problem gewesen. Wir hatten insgesamt eine tolle Zeit! Vielen Dank dafür! :-)

Passámos uma semana em família nesta casa - 8 adultos e uma criança. Ambiente tranquilo e sossegado, isolado, perfeito para uns dias de descanso. Os espaços exteriores são espectaculares, havendo sempre uma parte ao sol e outra à sombra. O trampolim fez a delícia da mais nova assim como os jardins envolventes e a piscina. A cozinha, wc's, sala e quartos estao bem equipados, não nos faltou nada. O Duarte (proprietário) foi bastante atencioso e simpático, sugeriu uns passeios pelas redondezas, explicou tudo direitinho. Um bom anfitrião! Sem dúvida, um local a que gostaríamos de voltar uma e outra vez. Um bem haja!
