Welcome to the MoonCreek Cabin. This designer cabin is tucked in a quiet area surrounded by majestic trees w/ its very own seasonal stream, and a sweeping view of Lily Rock. This cabin opens up with vaulted ceilings, skylights to stargaze, large windows with amazing views, a fireplace with a warm ambiance in splendid isolation. Outside we have a huge wrap around deck w/ a hot tub. Let that mountain air filter out your stress, relax, rejuvenate and cuddle by the fire after a long day of play.

Historic Owl Pine Cabin: creek+town+nature

On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. Enjoy the charm of its mid-century architecture and vintage-inspired furnishings. Features include floor-to-ceiling windows, an open-concept layout, a recreation room, and wheelchair accessibility. Conveniently located 3-minutes from the village, it is easy to enjoy the charms of Idyllwild and the beautiful San Jacinto mountains from the Treetop Terrace.

Step into Cedar Treehouse & experience mountain living in a curated home boasting magnificent views of Lily Rock & the surrounding forest. Ideally located close to town, only a 10-15 min walk to explore the local shops, restaurants, & art galleries. Just over 2 hours from Los Angeles or San Diego & 1 hour from Palm Springs, enjoy world-class hiking, breathtaking views, & all that the unique and preserved town of Idyllwild has to offer. Bathrooms were remodeled in 2023 and the kitchen in 2025!

Welcome to Scenic View House, a spacious yet intimate midcentury home with everything you need for a perfect retreat! Dogs welcome! Open plan living space in front with incredible views, three bedrooms, with a full bathroom accessible from the main living space and a second, en suite bathroom. Mini-split AC/heating in the main room, and in-wall AC/heating in each bedroom. Hot tub, propane grill, wood-burning stove, and deck dining complete the recipe for relaxing mountain time. Relax and enjoy nature at our beautiful, tranquil, lovingly remodeled A-frame cabin, now with a brand new master suite and sunroom! Within walking distance from the center of town, it's perfectly situated on a quiet street amongst the trees, buzzing with blue jays and hummingbirds. Curl up by the fireplace and enjoy surround-sound tunes, or have a spa-like soak after hitting the nearby trails. As a creative couple ourselves, we designed this space for romantic getaways and creative retreats.

This is the perfect spot for you to unwind, recharge, restore, connect, disconnect, think and not think.

Treetop Hideout is a classic alpine chalet perched high on the ridge overlooking Idyllwild village, surrounded by panoramic views of the San Jacinto mountains. This secluded, quiet little cabin is for all forest lovers, but would be most enjoyed by folks with an adventurous spirit (see Winter Access). You will be greeted with the stillness of the woods, sunrise + sunset views from two cantilevered balconies, all while wrapped in a cozy, luxurious interior.
