On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. Wander the property, hike the canyon trail, or take in the changing light from the wood-fired hot tub (or use it with fresh cold water!). Perfectly suited for two with plenty of extra space to explore.

This vintage horse trailer was reimagined into a Tiny house by Lane and Laurie as a couples project in 2018 which they completely gutted and remodeled using beautiful natural materials like wood, old fashioned wood cabinetry, handmade ceramic tiles and woven bamboo. Bluebird Tiny House is tucked into a secluded forest meadow, named for the bluebirds that spend part of the year there and there are miles of private trails to enjoy. Also on property is a Yurt with gym and yoga equipment .

Cedar Crest is a nicely remodeled cabin while keeping its original charm. It is easy access. A few steps lead you to the deck in the middle of the trees... This cabin can sleep 2 people in a king bed and if you would like to bring your kids, the master bedroom has a full size futon. (Kids sleep free) For pet owner, the east side of the cabin has a fenced-in space. We recommend you do not let them be there unsupervised as a motivated mountain lion could jump the fence and arm your pet.
