We stayed for one month at Maria Clara's house. The house was exceptionally clean, and our bedroom came with its own bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, and the room came with everything including linen and towels, and an empty wardrobe. They were very welcoming, and we felt at home immediately. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone.
The private room is as advertised and is in an area that is a 5-7 min drive from grocery stores, banks, shops, movies, etc. Marcia was away for the first 2 weeks, but her sister helped me with the move-in and was so helpful. Marcia was just as lovely as her sister when I met her. I enjoyed my stay. :)

I had an excellent experience staying at Danielle and Ben's suite. It had everything I wanted from a home. The balcony looking over the Bow River and Peace Bridge was definitely the highlight. Danielle texted me when I had arrived to make sure everything was going well which was very appreciated. I would definitely stay here again!
Danielle and Ben's place is exceptional. The unit was immaculately clean. They have put such attention to detail to the process, that check/check out process was such a breeze. The unit had all the amenities needed for the stay. All the cupboards were labeled so you don't have to hunt for things. Danielle was easily accessible via text. Location is ideal, walking distance to great restaurants and the park close by was a bonus. I would definitely return.
Danielle and Ben's suite was very clean and comfortable. The check-in guide they provided was easy to follow. The building was located in a quiet part of downtown. Except for the construction going on outside, which should be a temporary event, the place was very pleasant and convenient. We would not hesitate to stay there again when we visit Calgary next time.
My experience was excellent. The apartment was clean and exactly as pictured. The location is perfect, with easy access to downtown as well as Bow River running and biking trail. Danielle responded to any questions very quickly. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Calgary.
It's my first time to try airbnb and this apartment has made me realized that it's all worth it. The apartment was very nice, clean and very homey. Complete stuff. I highly recommend this apartment. The owner was very nice too though I did not meet them.

It was our first stay via airbnb. The apartment was as we imagagined it from the pictures. It is really comfortable and definitely big enough for two people. The closet in the bedroom is really large (we stayed in Canada for 7 weeks and only used half of it). The internet works great. The bathroom was really nice with towels, hairdryer and necessities provided. The kitchen was great with a huge (for us as europeans ;)) fridge and freezer and we could easily cook supper every night. Basics as coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, dishwasher, washing detergent, vacuum cleaner and soap were already there. Although in downtown the apartment was very quiet with other aparments on each side (not the elevator). Just a 5 minutes walk from the bow river and 10 min from CORE shopping center. Danielle and Ben responded really fast to any needs and provided an extra key on the same day. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

We had such a wonderful stay in this apartment. It was so clean and had everything we needed. I particularly appreciated the fact that we could use the washer and dryer which was conveniently located so we could use it at any time without disturbing anyone. There were so many unexpected extras like milk in the fridge when we arrived and enough Starbucks coffee to last us our holiday! The kitchen has all the utensils and appliances family needs to make any meal. There also were enough fresh towels to last our holiday which was great. Ellie and her family were so welcoming and easy going. Happy to chat or not depending on wether time permits. If you are looking for a centrally located, clean and comfortable basement apartment I would definitely recommend this one.

Brilliant and immaculate space! Ellie was prompt and professional in communications. We loved being in a warm cozy basement unit, with the windows faintly lit in colourful adornment from the exterior holiday lights! Brilliant. We could hear the family up and at it in the morning, and it made us feel right at home. Impressed by amount of creature comforts/amenities like super duper soft throws! Foosball table, hilarious. Thanks for providing an easy access (separate entrance etc.) and short stroll away place to rest our heads after a fantastic night at the Telus Spark Adult Night! It was a quick jaunt directly to the airport in the morning, we avoided traffic, it was brilliant. Definitely recommend!

Tories apartment was perfect, so perfect I even started googling if there were any to rent as I wanted to live there. The apartment has everything you could ever need with great views from the balcony of downtown Calgary, we ate breakfast on the balcony every morning. The location is great, its seconds away from 17th ave, one of the trendiest, and liveliest areas of Calgary. We ate at Market and would highly recommend that restaurant to anyone, really fresh ingredients. Great stay, much better than an overpriced downtown hotel!
I had the most perfect stay at Tori's. Her place was charming, clean, in an excellent location and had everything I needed. She is very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely be back!

Torie was responsive and we had no problem meetin gup with her to get the key. Great place - just as described. Location was wonderful too, easy to get to and even though Torie offered us an underground parking spot, we happened to find one directly in front of the building! Coffee shop at the corner was superb.
Torie made our stay very comfortable! Her apartment is very cozy and warm with cute decorations and a fabulous balcony. Great location - close to Stampede for us to walk. After backpacking in Banff/Jasper for a week we expressed the need to do laundry and Torie sweetly ran out to get more laundry detergent. We would highly recommend staying here!
Perfect place ! Clean, tidy, and as pretty as on the pictures. A big plus.... downstairs there's a fantastic coffee shop opened from from 6.30 am to nearly 11 pm I believe.... Overall it's a five star.

The hosts, Marie and the property manager Amiht, were wonderful, friendly, communicative, and very welcoming! I loved my night here and would love to come back. It's close to the airport (quiet however) and very clean and inviting. I stayed in the master bedroom with the en suite bathroom and enjoyed the best sleep and a perfect bath. In the morning, there were two jackrabbits ranging in the yard outside. Thank you, Maria and Amiht!

Welcome to Inglewood - voted Canada's #1 neighbourhood in 2014. Situated across from the Bow river and right along Calgary's bike path, our renovated home is a block from trendy 9th Avenue, a quick walk to the Zoo, Stampede, Downtown or even the Science Centre. This brand new space has the short and long term traveller in mind. Great for a professional, a family or some friends travelling together. We offer two well-appointed bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other a double. Each bedroom has a wardrobe and all the necessary linens, including comfy duvets and awesome pillows! The space would suit a couple or small family for a longer stay (week +), but groups of 5 or 6 would likely only be suited for 1-7 days. The large bathroom has a custom tiled, glass shower with a rain shower head. The vanity has tons of storage and topped with a stunning marble counter. And the heated towel rack brings an extra touch of comfort to the space! In the living area you will find a double sleeper-sofa and chair. We have recently added a double memory foam mattress that will replace the sleeper sofa to add to the comfort level for our guests (everyone knows that pull out sofabeds are not comfy so we are going the route of a double mattress instead). A 55" flat panel TV and PS3 are available for the nights you "just wantta stay in". We offer Telus TV and high speed wireless internet. The kitchenette offers a full sized fridge, bar seating for four and a microwave/toaster oven. There is no oven in this kitchenette. The kitchenette is stocked with all the necessary fixtures for this type of kitchen including basic spices and staples of the kitchen (toaster, kettle, blender, etc.) The lower level is self-contained (albeit no stove). You will have access via a private side entrance. For longer term stays, you may have access to our upstairs stove if needed. Laundry is shared, but we endeavour to respect you privacy. For longer term stays (week+) our laundry days will be Wednesdays. Most stays we will be here to meet, greet and interact with our guests as much (or as little) as you would like. We are a young family with two kiddos (we do our best to maintain their noise levels and respect our guests, but we do want our guests to be aware of their presence before you book). That said, we are out and about most of the time enjoying Inglewood. We do share laundry downstairs. We will not go down unless the stay is "long term" at which point our laundry day will be Wednesdays. The odd time we may be out travelling ourselves, in which case we will have a trusted neighborhood friend watch over the place and give you the in's and outs of the space and the 'hood. We love our hood. Inglewood truly is the best neighbourhood in Canada. Our home is located along the Bow River and Calgary's bike path. We are half a block to a great dog park and a quick walk to Harvie Passage kayak park. Located only block to trendy 9th Avenue you will be able to find great restaurants, coffee shops and great shopping. If you walk a little further down 9th Ave you will quickly be at Fort Calgary and East Village. Hop the bridge over the Bow and you will be at the Zoo. The location simply does not get better than this. Inglewood! You are a 20 minute walk to downtown or Stampede. Our house is located two blocks to a major bus stop (#1, 302, 75, etc.). We are located in the centre of Calgary's Car2Go zone. If we are around, you are welcome to utilize our bikes as well. Please feel free to enjoy the 6 burner natural gas BBQ located by your entrance, the back yard and even the fire pit. Your place will be outfitted with the required BBQ accessories. Great place and great hosts! We were only there for a night but everything as as expected and the hosts really cared about our visit. They have upgraded their basement and it has a lot of nice luxuries. The hosts are great resources for your stay and clearly will do anything to accommodate you.

The apartment was "brand new" with fresh and clean interior. We were welcomed to the place like no other and we have used Airbn'b several other times, all over the world including Australia, Thailand, and all over Europe. The "little things" made all the difference and cozy feel. The apartment has all appliances, including huuuge flat screen and dishwasher and many other...The area is friendly, close to bike pathway and river, nice shops, restaurants and pubs just around the corner. We were constantly contacted by our hosts if there is anything we need. We felt looked after very same way as when visiting our parents back home :))) 10 out 10 !!!
It was our first experience using air bnb. I am glad that we did. Michelle and James were better than the best hosts we imagined. They were just perfect. Willing to engage us in all Inglewood has to offer and leaving us to our devices when desired. Their 2 kids Cash and Scout were awsome. They were informative about the activities and attractions to see around the neighbourhood and James even set us up with bikes and helmets to explore a close by beautiful Island. The name of the island escapes me now (Sorry James). We attended the Sun festival, had bike rides to explore islands, had a fire pit at night. We were not planning to do ANY of these. So thanks Michelle and James for turning Calgary the start of our vacation into BC rather than just a pass through affair. The basement is done in good taste. Sleek and modern with good amount of sunlight. Nice and cool to sleep and the beds were awsome. My wife forgot a ring in the bathroom and Michelle contacted us within the hour. Great family, great place, great neighborhood, you should stay here.

We stayed in this cozy place for a month and we felt as we are at home all the time. The owners Michelle and James were so helpful, friendly and ready with all the information that anyone may need for the area around, attractions in the city and I can say pretty much everything we needed to know. The apartment is comfortable, stylish and cozy. Very well situated, close to down town (walking distance), 2 minutes from the river and huge walking and cycling area along the river. Michelle and James are wonderful hosts. We are so happy to know them and we recommend everyone visiting Calgary to stay with them!

I just cannot say enough about Mark and Ivy and the unit. From the instant I made my reservation I got a personal welcome text from Mark and nothing but personal attention the entire trip. Everything was available as described; the unit was very nice, 21 floor!!!, beautiful modern furnishings with all the available amenities you would find in a upscale hotel. Parking is private and secure in the garage. A few things jumped out above the rest. 1) Mark's warm welcome and care throughout the process. It's unreal how much he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable on our trip as it was a treat for my parents. 2) the unit is located in a very nice part of town with many great shops and restaurants outside. We arrived late around 1am into the area due to a late flight and felt very safe the entire time. Starbucks, subway, and some nice restaurants including salons across the street.3) the view...THE VIEW!!! Unreal. It must be one of the best in downtown Calgary as you are seeing from such a high floor right in the middle of downtown Calgary and you can look past two skyscrapers to beyond and it's just breathtaking to sleep and wake up to that. I booked with Mark & Ivy before, they are very nice hosts. They let me check in early and were super speedy with replying to any questions I had. I really liked their other place and but this place is even better! They changed the furniture so it's different than in the picture, but it's still high quality and modern. The view is just like the photos, with tons of light and the full city view but even more beautiful. Just like the listing, the condo had everything we needed and was in a spectacular location. I really recommend this to my friends, or really any of Mark & Ivy's places.

Amazing location! This is a great apartment, great views, close to everything downtown. Really easy check in, nice hosts, super convenient. We were working a trade show at the Teles Center and it was an ideal location.

Our chic downtown condo is only 2 blocks from Stampede, BMO Center & Saddledome and close to the C-Train, fantastic local bars & trendy restaurants! We've freshly furnished and professionally clean our condo with tourists and business travelers in mind! Come enjoy our spacious, downtown 2 bedroom condo that sleeps 6 guests. There's assigned, secure underground parking, as well as free WiFi. A few hundred meters away from Stampede grounds! The parking garage has a 6'6ft clearance, so cars with rooftop luggage packs or tall trucks may not fit. There is free street parking but there time limits. While I do not live at the condo, I'm available to answer any questions you may have regarding the city or the condo. Victoria Park is a trendy, urban neighbourhood known for its innovative bars, local restaurants and proximity to the Stampede grounds. It has an old building charm, mixed with a hipster modern edge. Its a great neighborhood for the young professional or traveler alike. There are many forms of public transit literally minutes from the condo. The C-Train is 3 blocks away and grants access to core areas of the city from the downtown core to the suburbs. We needed a place to stay before our flight home after a visit to Banff and Jasper. Arriving late at night was no problem, as the key along with access to the garage was left in a lockbox outside. The apartment was impeccably clean. The beds are on the soft side. The neighborhood was also nice, safe, and convenient. The Sunterra Market around the corner was great for ready-to-cook meals and food to go for our flight home. Although we only spent a night, this place would be great for a longer stay.

We had the pleasure to stay in Tina's condo for 2 days during our most recent visit to Calgary. Tina was very responsive and attentive to all our needs. The arrival process is very smooth and we had no problem checking in. The condo is spacious with a full kitchen and a TV with Netflix(!!). We certainly enjoyed a couple of movies during our stay. The condo is located near 17th St. SW, which is lined with restaurants and pub. It is also in the city center, which makes it very easy to walk everywhere. Overall, we think it's a great value and great pick if you're visiting Calgary.

Perfect! This apartment is what Airbnb is all about; fantastic value, great location and exactly as described. We were travelling as a group of 6, the apartment catered perfectly for a group of this size with plenty of space but would be equally suitable for a smaller group or even just a couple looking for a quiet city break. The apartment is very clean, light and well equipped with large tv's, good appliances and wifi. The terrace is a lovely space to catch some sun and relax. It is located right on the edge of downtown and within easy walking distance of all the nightlife. Our hosts were exceptionally attentive and communicated well, suggesting plenty of places to explore, eat and drink in the city. They responded quickly to all questions and were eager to make sure we got the most out of our stay. Overall I cannot fault the space or experience, would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others.

My host Nour was AWESOME! My flight was seriously delayed and she waited up for me (even offered to come get me if i missed the car rental office open hours). (she even helped with a call to United re my bag when it was lost) She gave perfect directions to get to the apartment. Apartment exactly as advertised (except no A/C), comfortable, spotless, great location. Nour generously offered to move her car for friday/saturday so I could leave mine in her slot. (daytime onstreet parking is 2 hour limit) A lovely easy walk to multiple good restaurants, shops, etc. I would highly recommend staying with Nour!
This lovely little apartment was perfect for the weekend! Clean, quiet and private, with everything we needed to get a couple groceries and prepare our own meals. A short walk to 17th Ave allowed us to park the car and walk around for anything we needed, including catching the C Train to a local event. Nour is very accommodative and responds quickly. Loved staying here and definitely would love to stay here again.

The place was great, as advertised. I was able to check in smoothly the same afternoon that I needed the place. House is in a very cool neighborhood and is close to downtown without all the traffic.
Marie made sure everything was clean and welcoming when we arrived. The place was nice and did us very well for our short stay. The location was good and relatively close to the airport which was great for us. Marie even helped us look for some important documents the day after we left which we thought we may have left behind by accident. This was extremely helpful and very much appreciated!

Had a great stay at Marie's. The house is cosy the bed is very comfortable and all is clean and functional. Kensington is just down the road with a lively bohemian feel to it. Restaurants like Kensington Brasserie and Container Bar are great spots! If you're heading to Calgary I would recommend it.

Good value, good location. There was a weird/hilarious incident in the neighborhood on our first night, but Andy messaged us to make sure everything was cool (it was no big deal at all but nice that he checked in). My partner appreciated the beer in the fridge! I love the key pad entry and awesome we could just walk up!

I stayed at Lyss and Kesh's condo with my girlfriend for a couple days and can't say a single negative thing about our experience. The condo was just as described and situated in such a convenient location for us. They even went above and beyond and mailed me my glasses that I accidentally left behind! I would totally recommend this place to friends and would come back if I was visiting again !

We hade a really good time at Kesh and Lyss apartment. It's exactly like the pictures and very clean. The location is also top! You are in a quiet district but at the same time you are really close to downtown and only 5 minutes walk from the nice district of Kensighton, with lots of coffees and restaurants (don't forget the cupckacke and frozen yogurt store!). The flat is also a few steps from the C-Train station and from a huge supermarket, wich is also convenient. We really recomend this place and this host! Lyss and Kesh have a beautiful apartment in a very pleasant neighbourhood. The grocery store and the train are a block away and the restaurants in the area are great. The entire experience went flawlessly and Kesh was a great host, checking in daily to make sure everything was going well. I was in Calgary for work over Boxing Week and had a great stay at this condo. It had all the amenities I needed and is in a great neighbourhood, just a short walk away from groceries, restaurants, and C-train. Beautiful city view from the front porch. Green space across the street. A cat lives in the house, but not in this room. This affectionate cat is only two, he is playful and friendly. 3 minute walk to C-train and trendy Kensington shops and dining. Walk to downtown in 10 - 15 minutes. See my guidebook for what's handy. Brochures, maps and tourist information is available. I vacuum and dust the whole house weekly, clean the floors every 2nd day, never leave dirty dishes, wash the bathrooms daily and provide fresh laundered sheets and towels for every guest. You will also have access to the main floor bathroom. I respect your desire for peace and quiet and am also available to chat and provide directions and information. Easy access to get around by walking, biking, bus, train, car, Car to Go or cab. Close to #1 Highway and Memorial Drive. Sunnyside C-train station is 400 meters away. The airport is 20 minutes drive away. Ask about my airport pick up/drop off. The tap water from all the faucets in the house are safe to drink from. Close to SAIT, ACAD, the Jubilee Auditorium are 1 train stop away, North Hill is 2 and the University is 3. We booked our stay at the last minute and Barb was very accommodating. The bedroom was very comfy and my husband had the best sleep he's had in over a month, because the bed was so nice. The shower was nice and hot. Barb allowed us free access to kitchen and a continental breakfast and coffee. Our stay was so lovely and we really recommend this place and would love to stay here again when in town.
I spent a few nights at Barb's. I enjoyed my stay. The room was very comfortable and I had the bath for myself. Barb also took care of coffee and breakfast, it was very generous. The house and the room were tidy and spotless, and Barb helped me with any problem, be it information or laundry. The house itself is walking distance to down town, great location! You can't really ask for more, I was grateful and I highly recommend.
Barb's place is great in a great neighborhood just a stone's throw away from downtown Calgary. Barb is really hospitable. She opened her home to me, but was never intrusive. Her home is lovely, warm and very welcoming. If you need to stay in inner city Calgary, I'd highly recommend staying with Barb.

Great downtown location with lots of space. The inner city townhome offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms over three levels. Secure garage parking for one vehilce is also available. All conveniently located between trendy 17th Ave and the core. This townhome is in the heart of Calgary's Beltline. Just 5 blocks north of 17th Ave, 4 blocks from downtown and within steps of the 12,11 & 10th ave shopping and restaurants. The two bedroom, two bathroom home offers spacious, secure and convenient accomodation. Rooms offer queen beds and the entire space offers all of the comforts of home in a very clean and modern space. The Beltline hosts some of Calgary's most unique neighbourhoods. From the shops and restraunts on 1st Street SW, to the 17th Avenue Dining and Entertainment District, this home is in the heart of it all. The suite has over-height ceilings, good natural light and is set up to work for both a quick visit or a longer stay. As for public transport, the suite is 6 blocks from the 7th avenue C-Train corridor, where all four lines intersect and take you to all quadrants of the city. Once inside the exterior door, there are two interiors doors. The Inner City Townhome is the door on the left. All the comforts of home. The basement is suited off separately, please be mindful of other guests. I do my best to respond a quickly as possible, but I do work during the day. My colleagues and I were in Calgary for a downtown conference and this place was perfect. Easy walk downtown and a very comfortable place to stay! Greg is a great host and we were so thankful to have a nice home base while we were in town. Thank you so much for opening your home!
We stayed at Greg's place for two weeks and we had a great time. The appartment looks exactly like the pictures, is modern and spacious and has every amenity you could ask for. The beds are very comfortable. The couch in the living room is the ideal place to unwind and read a book after a long day with the fireplace on. With the appartment being located close to downtown, restaurants and shops are within easy reach, but it's still a relatively quiet place. Especially since the house is located around back and not directly facing a street. A big plus is also the private parking garage. The construction didn't bother us, since it has moved mostly indoors on the lower floors of the building. There's hardly any noise coming from it we found. We plan to make the trip to Calgary again next year and renting with Greg is a no-brainer.

I stayed at Greg's place with a few girlfriends when we were in town for a wedding. It was perfect! We felt like roommates again. It was great to be so close to the grocery store and to have a full kitchen so we could make our own meals. Greg is a very responsive host so any questions I had leading up to or during the stay were answered promptly. He even let me know when the place was ready via text message! The place is clean, the wi-fi connection is strong, the beds are comfy, and the kitchens and bathrooms are fully stocked with things like towels, soap, dishes, etc
My husband and I spent four nights at Greg's place with our Daughter who lives in Calgary and we loved it. The place was a wonderful haven to celebrate an early Christmas and walking distance to just about everything we needed. Everything was in order with very good instructions. Greg responds very promptly and we didn't want for anything. We would highly recommend staying there and look forward to our next trip.

One blocks from home, you can enter to the +15, an indoor pedestrian system that connects the downtown buildings and the major hotels and convention centers like; the Westin, Sheraton Suites, Sandman, Metropolitan Conference Centre, Telus Convention Centre. You also can find, restaurants, convenience store, Eau Clair Market, coffee shops, everything on walking distant. If you are coming to celebrate the Stampede, you can go easily and fast to the parade, the Saddledome, and all the party places. If you walk 4 blocks, you will find the c-train station, in the portion that is known as the free fare zone, so you can travel for free inside downtown. In the back part of the building, there are 2 parking spots of car 2 go, a great way to travel around the city. We have an extra bike that you can borrow. Angenehmer Aufenthalt, sehr saubere Wohnung. Zimmer und Badezimmer schön gerichtet. Eine gute Beschreibung für den Weg zum Haus, zum Auffinden des Schlüssels und auch innerhalb der Wohnung bekommen. Gastgeber sehr hilfsbereit und offen. Das Frühstück war nett gerichtet und alles vorhanden. Die Innenstadt und die Spazierwege am Fluss sind in kurzer Gehdistanz. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.
Host Vera and her husband are excellent hosts and they made me feel at home the minute I met them. They are very friendly and down to earth. Breakfast was excellent. Though they are working couples, she made sure breakfast was available before I woke up from bed which was highly commendable. The Condo was very sparky clean with excellent view as you can see on the picture. There is also the added benefit of a free gym on the 2nd floor. The bed was also very comfy. Location Superb location, in the heart of Calgary Downtown - two minutes walk to the beautiful Bow River Park which is excellent for walks any time of the day. That means also that you can walk 5 minutes to 7th Street C train station which gives you free train between 7th Street and City Hall stations. Summary You have to try staying with this this couple next time you are in Calgary to understand the experience described above.

I can highly recommend Christoph's apartment. It's in a great location, just a block away from 17th Street which is full of shops and restaurants, yet it's also quiet and perfect for sleeping. It's very clean and new with quality appliances and furniture and the kitchen had everything I needed to really be able to cook during my 10 day stay. I loved the deep bathtub on cold winter nights. Christoph was very quick to respond during both booking and when there was an internet glitch during my stay. This is a really great place to stay and I will definitely book again when I return to Calgary.

We arrived at the apartment to find nice a note from Christoph with all the details of the apartment and a bottle of wine. The apartment is exactly as it appears in the photos, and in a great location. I’m from Calgary, and this is definitely in the top end of the spectrum as far as downtown accommodation goes. The apartment looks exactly as pictured. The area has several restaurants and downtown is about a 5 minute drive away. Overall a great place to stay.
Ilona was fabulous to deal with. She responded promptly and was able to answer all of my questions with detail and maps. The space was perfect for what I was looking for. It was in a new building with contemporary fixtures and appliances. The neighborhood was quiet while still in close proximity to downtown and major transportation arteries. I felt fortunate to find this ideal space and enjoyed my time here, I would recommend this to anyone looking for accommodation in Calgary.

Located in the beautiful Sunnyside area, our small and cozy place offers walking access to downtown, pathways, parks, coffee shops, restaurants and public transit (C-train) Our small and cozy house in Sunnyside has a large and comfortable spare room in the basement. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed, but is big enough to comfortably fit an extra full size mattress (so that it fits up to 4). Your bedroom in the basement does not get much daylight, but still has an exterior window, and offers total privacy and comfort. You will have full access to all the common spaces in the house, including the kitchen, bathroom, living room and front yard (with a big picnic table). You will also have access to appliances, including the fridge, stove, Nespresso coffee machine (with complimentary coffee!), washing machine, dryer and the living room Hi-Fi and TV. We will likely be present in the house during your stay. We will interact with you as much as you want to (i.e., we enjoy conversations, but respect privacy as a priority). Kids are welcome (and those under 10 stay free). We have a 2 year daughter who loves making new friends and does not mind sharing her toys. We have lots of guidebooks, maps and information about the Rocky Mountains, and can certainly offer travel advise. Sunnyside is arguably the best neighborhood in Calgary. It is very close to downtown (city's business center) but also recreation areas such as the Bow River pathways or Prince's Island park. Sunnyside is a quiet place, yet only 4 blocks (5 minutes walking) from one of the most lively areas in town (Kensington), with lots of restaurants, pubs, and all purpose stores. One of the best places for coffee in Calgary (the Vendome cafe) is only 2 blocks from our place. One block further there is a grocery store, a bakery and organic market and a C-train station. We had a wonderful stay at this place. Gemma and Eduard and their gorgeous daughter were very nice and we enjoyed having conversations with them. We had access to whatever we needed in the house. They responded quickly to our request on Airbnb and we moved in only in an hour after our request, which was really helpful. Also with the flexible check out schedule we experienced a very pleasant stay there.
Gemma and Eduard were great hosts! This was my first AirBnb experience and it was fabulous. The room is a great size and the bed is extremely comfortable. Wifi works brilliantly. The house is in a great location. You can walk to downtown within 15 minutes and the surrounding area also has a great pathway system which allows for nice walks or bike rides. The house is also a 5minute walk to a great little cafe, which do the most amazing hot chocolates and breakfasts!! Would definitely recommend staying here!
Wonderful stay, great place to base yourself for trips into the mountains, Eduard was very helpful in pointing out his favourite places and they were kind enough to lend me their park pass which was very generous.
A lovely home with a perfect location! The neighbourhood is nice and quiet. Very close to great food and coffee, Sunnyside train station and within walking distance from downtown. The room was nice and spacious and fits the description very well. Gemma and Eduard were very friendly and helpful and the communication both before and during our stay was easy. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Calgary!
Great place for our family of four to stay in Calgary! We only arrived in the afternoon and left the next day, so didn't see too much of the neighborhood. But it is a very central location (short walk to tram, 3-4 stops from downtown) with quite a few nice restaurants around. The room was really big, would also suit four adults. Gemma and Eduard were super friendly and gave us great information for the next part of our trip. Definitely recommend their place!
This was our first time using Airbnb we and loved it. Eduard and Gemma have a lovely home in the perfect setting to visit Calgary and the Stampede. We are a 7 minute drive from Edworthy park (which connects river pathways) and Canada Olympic Park. 15 minute drive to downtown. 2 minute walk to local coffee shop, pub and various restaurants. There is a large mall a 5 minute drive away with additional restaurants as well. The grocery store is a 20 min walk or 3 minute drive. Convenience store across the street. We have easy access to Trans Canada and are only a 45 minute drive to the mountains or 1.5 hours to beautiful Banff. A 2 hour drive takes you all the way to Lake Louise. Our cozy self-catering suite has one bedroom, one bathroom, with a separate living/kitchen area that has everything you will need to make your stay comfortable. Linens, shampoo, and towels are all here for you. We also have a large TV with Netflix and WiFi for your convenience. The bedroom has a queen bed. In the summer, you are welcome to use our BBQ, and enjoy our backyard with a wood burning outdoor fireplace with river views. Laundry can be arranged if you would like to use it. We are located on a quiet street in the neighbourhood of Bowness. We are a 35-minute drive from the airport, and on the west end of the city, allowing for easy and quick access to the mountains. We are a quiet family of 5 (and two part-time small and very friendly dogs) who looks forward to sharing our wonderful city with travelers from all over. The suite was beautiful, modern and clean. Everything we needed was available along with a bonus river experience. I would recommend this place to anyone. The host's communication was prompt and very friendly and accommodating. This was my first, very pleasant experience with air bnb.

This is an awesome apartment with all the conveniences of your own home and very well located. Marie is the perfect host. Always there there to help out if you need her. I spent 21 days in Calgary on business and I was almost sad to leave this wonderful 'home away from home'.
David welcomed us when we arrived. He's a very nice man. Their basement suite is beautiful and neat, and they have a huge backyard and short walk to the river. We saw Marie before we left. Such a lovely lady. She respond right away to my text messages. Overall, me and my friend really enjoyed our stay and we'll definitely book their place again when we get back to Calgary.
This place is fantastic. It's completely self contained and so feels private from the house, with your own entrance/exit. Everything was completely clean and the place is well equipped with thoughtful details like shampoo and conditioner included. We cooked one evening and the kitchen was modern and had everything we needed. Marie and David were great hosts, it was David's birthday during our stay and he generously invited us to join them. Great place, easy on street parking, would stay again.
Great place to stay. Wide space, washroom, couch, kitchen, and one bedroom. Wi-fi was great, too. It's bit far away from downtown, but there is the bus to go downtown in the front of the house. Enjoyed Stampede :) I strongly recommend!
What a great spacious apartment! Wonderfully friendly host and cute dog. Great location on river with shops walking distance. Only stayed 1 night but perfect for what we wanted as easy to find and not far off the route we needed for heading out to the mountains. Apple TV and Netflix was a nice touch. The Italian by 7 eleven was really good and do take out so you can chill in the apartment. Had our crawling baby with us and was plenty of room and safe. Would stay again for sure
