The two separate private yards lead to a spacious livingroom area and a fully equipped kitchen. You can share time with company cooking, having drinks out, enjoying the entertainment center, or just relaxing by the fireplace before you retire to the private bedrooms or the bathroom hot tub. The apartment is equipped with state of the art security electronics, smart TVs with separate satellite access, entertainment and music installation with surround sound and all around wifi (50Mpps) high speed internet. The guests have full access to all areas of the apartment which are: two outdoors private yards, a large fully equipped kitchen, a livingroom and diningroom with a fireplace and the main entertainment installation, three double bedrooms, one bathroom with a hot tub. All areas have separate air condition units and the apartment is protected by a state of the art motion activated security system. As a local native, I can offer suggestion for fun and exciting things to see or do! We are a family of 5 and go to the beaches every weekend ourselves. Please feel free to call me about anything. Perfectly located in a quiet, safe neighborhood, near the city center and the Old Chania Port. There is a Bank, several Grocery shops and the popular beach of Nea Chora within walking distance (in 5 mins). The beach of Nea Chora is known for its wonderful waters and the traditional Greek sea food restaurants. If you choose to drive, Meni’s Home is located next to the exit to E65 highway giving access to the airport, Platanias and all the out of town attractions of Crete. This establishment is 5 minutes away from the Central Bus station, where all bus lines to the rest of Crete depart. Nea Chora is a very long sandy beach, located about 0,5 km form Meni’s Home. The main beach of Nea Chora is very well organized, with several amenities nearby. Nea Chora is ideal for those that do not want to leave the city center. Beyond the east side of the beach, there is the old soap factory (you can still see its high chimney) on the lovely seaside walk to the Old Harbor. Nea Chora is popular to locals for its fish taverns. Of course, there are many taverns, restaurants, snack bars and cafes in the area. The "Sardine Festival" is organized every summer at the beach of Nea Chora, with traditional music, dances and free fish for the visitors.

Cretan Traditional Stone House of 1850 in the Nature and Flora of Chania

The house is located in a small traditional village which consists of two neighborhoods built on two elongated hills and separated by a ravine. At the bottom of the ravine is a very old stone fountain with trees. The houses are masterfully built of stone on the successive levels of the two hills thus providing a beautiful traditional settlement. The view to the opposite villages are impressive. The flora is especially rich in herbs and medicinal herbs such as oregano, thyme and labdanum.
