Peaceful and Private Studio Suite

Take a break and unwind at our peaceful oasis in stunning Willamette Valley. Only about an hour from the coast or mountains and five minutes to the river. And for wine tasting, the options abound. Our studio boasts a full kitchen and laundry. There is a dining table, queen bed, couch, leather chair and ottoman and a small desk area. Our apartment is attached to our home, so we are close if you need anything and with the private driveway and entrance, you will have all the privacy you desire.

Friends' Cottage

Comfortable, well lit upstairs living area over our home. Currently we have 2 bedrooms available, plus a full bath with corner shower, sitting area, dining table, microwave, full size fridge. Windows look out onto a quiet neighborhood, backyard and gardens. Located near the heart of Newberg's rich downtown district, close to parks, coffee shops, beer and wine tasting, farm to table restaurants, antique stores, movie theater, grocery store and Cultural Center. Garden-fresh breakfast included.

Fern Creek Farm Retreat

Fern Creek is a small family farm nestled in the forested hills of Yamhill County's wine country. Guests enter a captivating peace-filled space (a separate apartment in the lower level of our home), which is surrounded by forests and gardens where all kinds of life flourishes. Our sustainability practices (see below) demonstrate our commitment to helping life flourish--at Fern Creek and beyond. Note that while the photos show our house when it was green, it has recently been repainted blue.

The Cellar @Lively Farm

Enjoy our little slice of hobby farm heaven nestled among the old-growth forest along Chehalem Creek. You'll experience the beauty of nature, the antics of our goats, chickens, rabbits, geese, ducks, and quail, and the charm of downtown Newberg. Our secluded neighborhood offers the perfect area for walking, running, or bike riding, and the wineries of Dundee are so close! Be warned that we live on the edge of the forest. Owls, deer, raccoons, squirrels, possums, and foxes frequent our yard.

Vineyard and Mountain View Wine Country Retreat

Our property is available to adults looking for some peaceful time. Conveniently located, our home will be a retreat to come back to after a day of exploring gastronomy and wineries in nearby towns. Numerous vineyards are in the immediate vicinity. On clear days enjoy views from our large deck of Mt Hood, St Helens, Rainier, and local vinery. At the gateway to wine country, our peaceful Old Town 1916 craftsman home brings historical charm with many amenities right in the heart of Old Town Sherwood. Sleeps 9 with 6 new beds, 2.5 remodeled baths and an open kitchen with gas range, everything you need for a few or many. Owner occupies the basement and rear separated dwelling on property. However, both the basement and rear dwelling are completely locked off and have entirely separate entrances. The best place in town.
