Το "Sihna" είναι εμπνευσμένο από το έθιμο της γιορτής των Σίχνων που τελείται στο Λιτόχωρο ανήμερα των Θεοφανείων. Έχει τις ρίζες του στο Βυζάντιο και συνεχίζεται μέχρι σήμερα. Τα Σίχνα είναι ψηλά κοντάρια με ασημένιο ή χρυσό σταυρό στην κορυφή, που φέρουν πολύχρωμες σημαίες. Πρόκειται για αφιερώματα συντεχνιών και ναυτικών οικογενειών, τα οποία συμμετέχουν με καθορισμένη ιεροτελεστία στον καθαγιασμό των υδάτων στο Λιτόχωρο. I would like to inform all prospective visitors that the apartment located in the village of Mesagkala is recommended for the summer months, mainly because after September 15th the village supermarket and the fast-food place with gyros are no longer open. The nearest villages with a supermarket open all year round and restaurants are about a 12-minute drive away, in Platamonas.

Stone cottage by the coast of Olympus

A large studio that benefits from high ceilings, fireplace, a full- fitted kitchen, and WC with shower. It has a double bed and 2 build-in sofas that turn into beds.
