We had a gorgeous few days at Florence's beach house over the school holidays. It was the perfect base for a friend and I to explore with the kids in tow. Somers is such a hidden gem and Florence's place is well positioned walking distance to the beach and the delightful Sommers General store - great coffee and all the gourmet provisions you need for your stay. Also very easy location to explore other Peninsula highlights such as the Hot Springs and Enchanted Adventure at Arthurs seat! The beach house was gorgeous t come home to- really nicely styled and big bush block and outdoor fire pit were an added bonus. Highly recommend and looking forward to our next trip!

Our hosts had thought of everything from the supply of dog bowls, pristine dog beds and everything else you'd need for your beloved dog. Our dog Ivy was right at home from the moment she arrived. Our family had a wonderful Easter; the room layout suited us with our two adult children and their partners. The outdoor eating space allowed us to socialise in what is effectively the second living space, and the outdoor spa was a real treat after a long day of beach walks and relaxing. All beds were incredibly comfortable, plentiful hot water for showers and an easy walking distance to the beach and Somers General Store.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Sea Salt BNB! The cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The location was ideal for exploring the nearby beach and local attractions. We especially loved the charming decor and the little touches that made our stay extra special. We can’t wait to return for another relaxing escape!

We had a lovely stay! The host was very nice and always responded quickly to any questions we had, which made everything smooth and easy. The location is great—it's within a kid-friendly hotel, and we were able to access the hotel facilities, which was a big plus for our family. Everyone enjoyed the stay, and we'd definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

Nice place with great amenities. The hot tub was amazing. The fire place was perfect under the stars and the tent was a special touch. Inside the house, the rooms were spacious, the bed was comfy and they even provide some board games. There’s also a big driveway for the cars to park securely inside. It’s pet friendly and the check in was also flexible. The location is great for exploring as everything is a short drive away. Some considerations and feedback for improvements: - The internet was slow, I wasnt able to take calls properly for work - There is no dish washer, and you must wash the dishes by hand. - Inside the tent could use some minor touch ups Overall we enjoyed our stay and the place had lots to offer.

Lovely place, very friendly and welcoming hosts. Kids loved the play ground, feeding the animals and catching the Guinea pigs. Would definitely recommend.

Cosy and comfortable cottage. The kitchen is well equipped and has great views of Westernport Bay and Phillip Island. We had a lovely family weekend despite some rain and were able to make use of the games. And a fifteen minute walk to the beach when it did clear up. Thanks Madeleine for a great stay!

Amazing location, easy walk to the beach, close to both Cowes and the Penguin Parade. Exactly as described and host was very responsive.

We had a great week at Steve’s place. The house was spacious, the yard was open and like being out in nature with only a short 3 minute walk to the dog beach. The neighbours were all very friendly too when bumping into them! We couldn’t have been happier and look forward to heading back soon!

Everything we needed, comfortable bed and the couch was not low and hard to get out of. Delightful location on the balcony with Bellbirds and Fantails. Plenty of secure exploring area for our dog.

We had a fantastic stay! The location is amazing, for us with little kids being a one minute walk to the beach without having to cross a road was fabulous. So easy to walk to all the cafes and restaurants too, I loved it more each day.

Great house to stay in a great location, would recommend

What a brilliant location and home away from home. We stayed at Cloud Cottage over Easter from Thursday to Monday with myself, my wife and our two kids (9 and 15), along with our friends - therefore 6 people all up. The place was so peaceful, great view, and a house as described and full of everything you need to make you feel right at home straight away. The 9 year old (along with the 15 year old) absolutely loved the bedroom and space up the stairs - fluoro light, secret doors to see out of and their own space - absolutely brilliant!!! the birds were fed in the morning and you could just sit and watch them from the table outside or inside. And very close to everything on the Mornington Peninsula. Would recommend this without a doubt - good value for money and very comfortable to relax in. Thanks Jenny - great host and highly recommend to others.

Really nice place, super clean and really comfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It’s private and relaxed but still super close to Mornington with plenty of great restaurants and shops etc, we also drove down to the Peninsula Hot Springs which is always divine. Loved the remote control sky lights, our door area, shower, homely touches, animals, and breakfast supplies. The bed was super comfy too! Definitely recommend this place for a little getaway. Thanks for having us!

Silver leaf cottage is nestled in beautiful gardens . Bernadette is very conscious of allowing her guests privacy . We only met her as she was watering the garden early one evening when we returned from a day out . She was friendly but not inquisitive. The setting is very peaceful . The only sounds you will hear are birdsong and chirping crickets . The French inspired decor is very easy on the eye and the towels and bedding are luxurious. The Queen sized bed is extremely comfortable and the shower of the very effective rain shower type . The location meant we could easily travel to see friends in Portsea and go to the beach in Sorrento and McCrae . We dined at Paul Louey’s Chinese restaurant in Rye where the food was delicious and very reasonably priced .

We loved our stay at Deb’s cottage, house was very clean, warm and welcoming. Kids enjoyed playing in the backyard, bunk beds, the lovely reading corner and the wooden jenga blocks. The place was close to attractions and shops. Would highly recommended Deb’s cottage to future guests.

We (me, partner and two kids) had a great stay at Emily’s place. Emily was a very helpful, accommodating and responsive host. Her house was excellent - super well equipped kitchen, and lots of books and games to keep the kids entertained. Location was also great, short walk to Rye back beach, and very peaceful. Would definitely return
