The cottage was very clean and spacious. Toby was very helpful and responsive. The location of the cottage is great for lots of beautiful walks, exploring the lake and the Hotel and Spa nearby is great for a nice dinner.

Great little get away for a peaceful retreat. Richard was an A++ host, very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely be going back.

Had a really love couple of nights with a group of friends over New Years Eve. Margaret was really helpful, she met us when we arrived and showed us around the house so we knew where everything was. The place is huge so that was really helpful. It looks just like the photos and is in a really lovely place, we could see horses out of our window and at night the stars were really bright. It was a perfect countryside escape and really well suited to a big group of people.

Immaculate place. Spacious, clean and quiet. Really helpful and responsive hosts. Would recommend staying here!

We had a lovely stay at Sorrel House. The property is just as described and was wonderful for a weekend away with longstanding friends. Grinshill is a peaceful village with good walking, and a relatively short drive or taxi ride away from Shrewsbury where we went for food in the evening. Everything about our stay was great and we’d look to book again!

We cannot recommend The Coach House enough. Not only were Clare and Ed excellent hosts, the cottage was pristine, well decorated and private, it made for a perfect couple’s staycation. The area was beautiful and made a peaceful environment for an evening in the hot tub. The welcome basket with essentials was very thoughtful. The highlight of our stay was when the cows came to say hello when we were sat on the bench in the garden. 10/10 would recommend and we intend to come back in the future.

Our stay at the Cottage was absolutely wonderful. The place was cozy, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable time. Helen and her husband were a fantastic host—very welcoming and kind. The thoughtful touches throughout the Cottage made the stay feel extra special. Rich & Sarah's place made for the perfect holiday. It feels like somewhere they actually use and enjoy which makes the place feel very warm and full of character. It was clean, comfortable and had all the facilities you could want and more. On this occasion, we were able to check in early and check out late which was a real treat - we appreciated the hosts' flexibility. They were very easy to communicate with and we had all the information we needed about the flat and about the local area. There's tons to do around the area - we had never been before and now we can't wait to come back. This place served as a perfect base to explore. Would happily stay again and recommend to anybody.

Lloyd was very responsive and really helpful. The house is in a super good spot in the middle of town and the basement that has been converted in to bedrooms is really well done and looks super cool.

I stayed at Diane´s for a month, traveling from Kenya, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The unit I rented was part of the main house but had its own separate entrance, offering privacy and comfort. The beautiful lush, vast garden full of life, peaceful surroundings with horses and birds, lots of different birds, made the experience unforgettable. The location was perfect—quiet and surrounded by nature, yet close enough to Chester and lots of renown tourist destination for easy exploring. The hosts were kind and respectful, ensuring I had everything I needed. I highly recommend Hatton Hall for anyone seeking a peaceful , convenient and private countryside escape.

A beautiful location with well equipped and comfortable rooms. We loved how spacious the apartment was. Friendly and helpful hosts made us feel welcome. We had a relaxing stay whilst in the area for a wedding and would definitely stay again. Especially loved walking down to the river.

Really enjoyed my time at Tracy and Michael's. The place was spacious and well equipped and in a picturesque setting. There was so much to explore in the area and was a great base for outdoor activites. Trancy and Michael were really friendly and really knew the local area well. Would love stay again!

Wow! Everything about the Boathouse is amazing, the accommodation, the location and the hosts. The accommodation is of the highest standard and has everything you need and more. Randall and Jude are so welcoming and thoughtful. On arrival we were welcomed with a basket of goodies, some homemade and on the way home were given some treats for the journey. The location is beautiful and peaceful, a slice of heaven. We were very reluctant to leave and can't wait to return. We would definitely recommend this as a fantastic place to stay.

Staying at The Owl at Chapel Farm was a hoot! My partner and I loved it's quirky stature and the surroundings. Would definately recommend The Owl if you fancy something different The host was very friendly and helpful Would have stayed longer if we had the opportunity.乁(ʘ ◊ ʘ)ㄏ

Lovely lodge, clean and as expected. Hosts extremely welcoming and friendly, especially Issac the cat. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area.

We had a lovely stay and would recommend for a relaxing get away with lovely views. The place had everything we needed for cooking/bbqing and Tim was really helpful with local recommendations and getting us settled.

Wonderful stay at Mallard Lodge, gorgeous surroundings and hot tub ready for us on arrival! Super comfy beds and dark bedrooms, just right for lazy mornings in. Lodge had everything we needed and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others. Really hoping we can come stay again soon!

We really enjoyed our stay, the little pack of all the restaurants and activities around was a really nice touch. The cabin itself was spotless and had everything we needed, the view and all the animals on the land made for a really nice stay. We would recommend anyone to come and stay here

To share a retreat with friends and dogs whilst surrounded by horses was a treat. Walks are steep in places but our only regret was not staying for a longer period..... very good and a great escape
