We had a great time at Rocky Lodge! The lakeside setting is unmatched. We loved fishing off the dock, swimming off the dock, paddling around the bay and listening to the loons. The house and boathouse were clean and comfortable, check-in and communication were easy. We'd like to come back!

We loved our stay. The space is GORGEOUS. We especislly loved the gates at the top of the deck so the kids could run around and be safe. We stayed in winter and the view was epic. The hot tub was warm and the fire burned all weekend long. All in all we loved our stay, the beds are comfy, the master bedroom is wonderful, the kitchen has everything you need, and you cannot beat the view. Hope to be back soon!

This is an adorable cottage! I would definitely get it again! It was immaculate inside, and perfect for 4 adults, and the bedrooms were huge! With washer, dryer, and dishwasher, and the beds were very comfy too. I would highly reccomend this cottage!

The house was perfect! 10 of us stayed in the house and there was plenty of room for all of us to hang out together in the living room and kitchen. The beds were comfy and everything was clean and easy to operate. James was an excellent host with proactive communication and fast responses! Thanks for a great stay. We will be back!

This was my first time visiting Lake George and Mikes place was the perfect spot to enjoy the peaceful beautiful surroundings all while being very accessible to downtown. The home has a lovely cabin decor and is very comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone coming up to the area and will certainly book when we return

This was a relaxing place and it was certainly among a peaceful and quiet setting. I enjoyed this location and for sure things were comfortable inside the place. The host was quite helpful, nice and definitely communicated well.

Great house. We were there for a golf tournament and the course is at the top of the road, so it was a perfect location for us.

A Perfect Getaway! We had such a wonderful stay at Karen’s beautiful lakefront home! From the moment we booked, Karen was amazing with communication—super responsive, helpful, and so accommodating. She made everything so easy and stress-free. The house itself was spotless and smelled so fresh when we arrived—it truly felt like a home away from home. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, and it was clear that Karen puts a lot of care into making her guests feel comfortable. The location is absolutely stunning—tucked away in a peaceful spot right on the lake. We loved having access to the boats during the day, and in the evenings, sitting around the firepit with family under the stars was just perfect. It was everything we needed for a relaxing escape. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful retreat with a host who really goes above and beyond. Staying at Brandon and Corey's place was like the definition of the best AirBnB can be. The house is cozy and beautiful, and we found it totally decorated for the Christmas season and perfect for our party of 6. It's the level of thoughtfulness that made our stay special. 'Emergency' amenities laid out in the bedroom just in case; a kitchen that is very well equipped, well-designed and highly functional; coffee supplies laid out and ready for the morning; a binder of local recommendations, etc. etc. Brandon's communications were also fantastic. He reached out proactively to ensure we had everything we needed and set a very relaxed and welcoming tone. It is no mystery why he and Corey are super hosts! Thank you, Brandon and Corey, for setting the bar for what other properties/owners can be!!

Such a great home for our family trip. Manager was very responsive and the house was extremely clean. All the amenities you could imagine and then some provided by host. Cannot wait to come back.

Exactly as described in advertisement with the exception of the view from the front balcony and living room -- it is BETTER than described and expected! This a repeat for the future.

Our stay at Grants Island was just what we needed for a little family getaway! The weather complied, the lake and views from the dock were amazing. The use of the pontoon made for good fishing but even better fishing right off the dock! John was more than accommodating with our needs and communication was easy. The cabin fit 5 of us just fine and everyone enjoyed themselves. The local restaurant had great food and drinks!

Had a great weekend stay here while attending open house at SUNY Plattsburgh. 3 bedrooms were great and provided enough room for 2 teenage boys to have their own spaces. Host provided suggestions for places to eat and visit. Was able to get in walk around neighborhood and see lake view, despite rain most of our stay. Short drive to downtown; grocery stores and other amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

The home was lovely with a great layout and view of the lake. During warmer weather it would even be more lovely!

Stacy and Mike were excellent hosts. Responsive, helpful, very friendly and flexible. The property was incredible. The outdoor spaces were perfect including the hot tub, fire pit table, grill, porches. It was cold so we wimped out and didn’t use the kayaks but we took advantage of most of the amenities. We also tried out some of the suggestions that they left for us, and enjoyed a great hike to the Hadley Fire Tower. Great place to stay, highly recommend!!!!

We had a great stay at Kate’s place. Inside was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Outside, we especially loved the view and the gazebo which was really cute and a great place to hang out during a little rain. Kate was very responsive! Wish we could have stayed longer. We are definitely hoping to come back for another visit!

A true GEM in the heart of the Adirondacks! We finally have found the treasure that truly fits our needs in the Lake Placid area. We are very close-knit family with members ranging from 3 years old to 68 years young! This home has everything in order to spend quality family time together. Superb kitchen, fabulous bedrooms, ample gathering space, plenty of game/puzzles, TV, fireplace and abundance of toys for the kids. The property was superb for enjoying the winter wonderland of snow! The kids spent hours sledding down the driveway, on the path to the lake and roasting smores at the fire pit. Ross had provided snow shoes for a wonderful hike along the trail across from the house. Once we arrived, we never had to leave the property as we had everything available to spend fabulous time with our children and grandchildren. Ross was extremely helpful and responsive with snow removal and BBQ propane. We are surely planning a return visit next winter. Thank you Ross for sharing your home!
