The Sage Hut - safe, private, warm and cosy

The Sage Hut is a traditional well-insulated structure set on a sturdy all-metal chassis and wheels. Double glazed windows & bed are new this year making it even more warm and cosy. It enjoys lovely views to the south with its own peaceful small yard/garden & private car parking space. It enjoys mains electricity, hot & cold water; the shower/loo is approx 25m away . There is a guest fridge and microwave in the stable block. The woodburning stove is highly efficient. Continental breakfast.

Light a fire and get lazy, chill out in the hottub, star-gaze at the incredible night skies, or just take in the majestic Pen y Fan as you plan (or recover from) your ascent.

A great range of walks including Pen y Fan can be started from the front door. The traditional local pub (CAMRA award winner) is less than 150 metres away and serves a great variety of dishes. Captain’s Lookout is a cosy, self-contained studio on the first floor of an old granary, set within the courtyard of our 1750’s farmhouse. Ideal for romantic getaways or a break in the National Park……Set on the edge of the canal, it looks over a traditional canal boat marina. Easy for walks, bike rides and paddling adventures. Village pub near by which can also be walked to along the magical mon and brec canal. WiFi and TV. Not suitable for dogs, babies or young children.

Return home to the sauna, soothe tired limbs & then relax by spinning some vinyl from the record collection, whilst the log burner crackles & the owls enthusiastically serenade as dusk sets in! (plus we now have an indoor padel ball court for you to exercise your inner Federer!!)
