This place was awesome. Felt right at home—like one of the family. NOTE: If you like antiseptically trendy, pristine spaces full of faux wood and IKEA furniture, DO NOT stay here. You’ll just complain and give this property less than the five stars it deserves. IF, however, you like places that bring back childhood memories of coming in off the lake so grandma can make you a pj&j, pour you some milk and put camphor on your bug-bites, this is the place. The walls are real wood paneling. The lake is beautiful and serene. There are old boardgames and even older National Geographic magazines in the hall closet. Yes, there is WiFi, Netflix, and a Keurig, but you’ll kinda wish there wasn’t. This is the place to put that behind and step back into simpler, more connected (as in, with FAMILY) times. Stay here with your family. Turn your phones off. Play boardgames, canoe, and swim. We hope to be back again for a longer stay.

Hosts were great to work with from the 1st communication. House located in a great area, felt incredibly remote & quiet. Even though its a few blocks off one of the main city roads, once you pull onto road & pull up to house it felt very remote & removed from the busy city. Stores, restaurants & shopping were all very close by just a few minutes drive. The house was big but very cozy at the same time. Lots of rooms & space fits a lot of people without feeling crowded at all. Yard was huge, easy walk to dock. Lawn well maintained & we took full advantage of outside sitting area, yard games, paddle boat, stand up paddles board AND canoe! Great outside sitting area with plenty of seats for everyone as well as a large deck also with great space & more than ample chairs & tables. House was very clean & well maintained with all the amenities needed! Beds & pillows clean & comfortable with extra blankets & pillows for everyone. Wont hesitate to stay here again. Very happy customers. Ty!

We just purchased a home in this area and needed a place to stay close to it while it gets furnished and this was perfect! It was so quiet and peaceful. The view of the lake is great! The house was very clean, decorated beautifully and super cozy. If we didn’t live just down the street we would stay here again! Mickey was a great host and answered my messages quickly. I had forgotten my purse here after checkout and he worked with me so I could retrieve it. Really great experience. Highly recommend! (I don’t recommend forgetting your purse though 😂).

This is one of my family’s favorite stays ever! The home was nestled amidst beautiful landscaping and the lake setting was really peaceful. The house was spotless, and decorated beautifully. All the thoughtful necessities for an easy stay were there - coffee, tea and creamer for the morning, board games, thoughtful things like makeup remover pads and qtips, hairdryer, charging stations by the beds. Loved seeing Greta nesting, and watching eagles catch fish while drinking coffee by the lake in the morning. If you are scent sensitive like me - you’re safe here! The home smelled fresh and clean, but no scented cleanser smell or detergent used for the bedding/towels. Hot tub was fabulous too, with clear instructions on use. Autumn was an excellent host! Truly spectacular! It felt like being a guest at a friend’s house, so many thoughtful touches. The kitchen was well stocked and we made all our meals there. Very clean, board games plus legos, beach towels, access to private dock, kayaks and life jackets. The lake and the views were amazing and close access to Staircase hike. Definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The view of the lake was stunning- especially in the morning at dawn as the sun started to rise. My husband enjoys cooking and he loved the gas stove. The kitchen was stocked with the basics and I appreciated not having to go to the store for coffee. It was chilly a couple of days and we made use of the fireplace in the master bedroom. The other 2 bedrooms were cozy with comfortable beds. The house was decorated nicely and was comfortable and perfect for our needs.

We were in town for a volleyball tournament, and literally didn’t want to go because the house was so awesome! It is a built in vacation. The lake, pickleball, basketball, kayaking and the list goes on. This place is magical and I definitely want to come back soon.

No ikea furniture, heavenly beds, ultra clean and superb location. Being a fan of cold plunges it couldn’t be better, step out and jump into a 9oC lake (April). Unbeatable view and relaxing atmosphere. If you’re planning on sleeping in, don’t forget your eye mask or sleep in the lower floor. Great location at 15 minutes from the airport and 30 from Tacoma and Seattle. I appreciate people who take good care of their space and ask the same in return. Alex was a splendid host and the house will be our first option when we come back to Seattle. A++ host

This was a wonderful experience. I was in Seattle for a work training and I really felt at home. Lisa and Steve were so thoughtful and in the Airbnb I access to pots and pans, nice dishes, delicious snacks and really phenomenal coffee. The shower was my favorite. It was a glass shower with Aveda products. The bed was absolutely incredible - high quality sheets and great mattress. I can't wait to stay here again.

Thomas's place is clean, comfortable and convenient. The kitchenette is so nice and well appointed. It even has coffee and creamer to get you started! The bathroom is spotless. The bed is very comfortable. It really is a lovely place, beautifully decorated with attention to detail and interesting artwork. It is everything you would want in an AirBnB, and so much more. We met Thomas and John and they could not have been nicer or more welcoming. We hope to stay there again. on a return visit.

Scenic and comfortable for friends or family with kids. Kitchen was top notch, had all the essentials and multiple Keurig options. The deck by the lake is very nice to hang out at evenings and night time. TV remote didn't have batteries and the bathroom drain can be unclogged better. But these were minor inconveniences.

Johan was an incredible host - friendly, welcoming, hospitable, and more. And the AirBnb itself was absolutely gorgeous. The natural light spilling in through the many ceiling windows made for an absolutely beautiful spring stay in the middle of a gorgeous, green neighborhood. Two minute walk from fantastic coffee shops and restaurants, and a gorgeous neighborhood full of spring flowers, brightly-colored homes, and an abundance of city wildlife. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat -- thank you, Johan!!

The area is within walking distance to many attractions, restaurants and downtown Seattle. The apartment is secure. And Jenette is very responsive. The check-in is flexible. Overall, it was a good experience.

Thank you for the stay. We both enjoyed our time. And the beauty of the place. Found it very relaxing. And while we did not make use of all of the amenities, found all of it enticing enough to consider returning. For those of you looking at this to review, I have stayed at a number of places across the Pacific Northwest and this is definitely worth trying.

It has beautiful views, enjoyed drinking my morning coffee on the deck, my Airedale loved the yard and playing in the water, we enjoyed watching the ducks swimming by and even with the rain it was still beautiful and enjoyable and very relaxing, loved staying there!

great host, great location and easy check-in. would absolutely book again. one thing to be mindful of are the stairs in the house going down as the steps can be tricky if you aren't watching your step.

What a beautiful place to spend our 38th Anniversary. Everything was perfect! I loved sitting in the deck with a glass of wine and using the tabletop fire pit. Our two dogs enjoyed the visitors that came by (three Deer and lots of chipmunks). It was like being in a totally different world. Highly recommend and Eric was super nice and helpful. Can’t wait to go back

Perfect tiny home! The hosts went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. They were super easy to communicate with and gave me fantastic recommendations. The place was equipped with all essentials plus more. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient stay. I will definitely be booking again on my next trip!

What a dream of a place. One of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in, and we travel a lot. If you are looking for a peaceful/romantic/beautiful spot, this is it. We felt completely at home. The view is spectacular. The bed was super comfortable, and the apartment itself had everything we needed. We were in town for a wedding, and David's place was the exact tranquil retreat we needed.
