What an incredible place!! There was lots of really interesting information available about the location - the only national reserve where you can stay the night! The hut was very cosy, and the fireplace kept us very warm. It was quite easy to use the kitchen, just keep your meals simple. We were treated kindly and inclusively. I would recommend this to anyone!

Loved the authentic eco credentials - plastic free toiletries, washing up cloth, eco friendly products. The shepherds hut was real cosy and comfy. Bore place is a wonderful spot with far more nature than I would have expected in the southeast! Chris was super friendly and helpful and this was a fabulous stay.

Beautiful little shepherd's hut in a lovely area - a perfect countryside getaway for the weekend (or longer). Huts were clean and really well insulated - would stay cozy in all weathers. Kellie was the perfect host and really helpful - would highly recommend!

molly dishwasher is in an absolutely stunning location the pictures don't do justice to how stunning this place is your surrounded by the most beautiful views in the most peaceful location, me and my family had the most amazing 2 nights staying here and the little personal touches added on top just make it that much more special, moppy is an amazing host and let the boys help feed the animals on the last night which they absolutely loved, there is another hut on site but you cant see them so you have amazing privacy. I can see why lots of people who stay here are on there 7th visit as its a place you'll want to re visit after staying. we will defiantly be back soon, thank you for an amazing stay.

I would recommend skylark to anyone looking for some peace. I went alone. I felt completely safe. I knew the farm house was close by but I also had complete privacy so i was able to fully relax. Having the fire pit was wonderful. I used it every evening and sat under the stars. I loved having my own kitchen and bathroom. Moppy was always responsive. I needed more logs and they arrived promptly. She left plenty of food in the fridge. Eggs. Bacon. Sausages. Croissant. Muesli.Milk. Butter. Good coffee etc. I didn't want fro anything at all. Moppy even took me to the train station on my return. A lovely woman and a lovely family.Thanks, Moppy

My 11 year old son, my dog and myself had one of the most pleasant in this beautiful cosy comfortable guy with the most pleasant view from the patio as you open the door overseeing the lake. The pictures don’t do this place justice - you have to see it to believe how pristine it is. We all slept comfortably and we enjoyed spending time in the garden and surrounding. Perfect place to recharge and connect with nature. We had everything we needed to cook and entertain, we were allowed to have a campfire by the lake and this was the highlight of our stay. We are planning to come each season to be by nature and Grants hospitality is one of the most accommodating. Thank you again for a pleasant stay and we shall see you again.

I had a wonderful stay at Christina's place. The Shepards hut was super cozy and comfertable, i could even watch bunnys running over the field while looking out of the window. Christina was really friendly and caring, which made me feel at Home right away. I would love to stay there again!

I can not recommend enough!! My partner and I had an absolutely idyllic time here getting away from London for a long weekend with our dog. Hannah and Mark were lovely people, very helpful, and the pictures (though they are beautiful) do not do justice to the hut - it was absolutely peaceful and picturesque (we went in late July), with plenty of walks, a firepit, and all the amenities you could need. We had one of the best weekends away we've ever had, and we were very sad to leave at the end!! 10/10 experience all round - if you're reading this, go for it!!

A wonderful shepherds hut and separate kitchen/bathroom cottage. Spotlessly clean, brilliantly decorated and a great location among the fruit trees and gardens. A peaceful stay over Easter.

We loved our night away here - it was the most beautiful Shepherd's Hut, and decorated to such high standards. Although we didn't use it, the garden was a great addition and the private parking made such a difference. The host was super helpful with information about the stay and with local restaurant recommendations. Overall, this really exceeded expectations and will look forward to finding a reason to come and stay again soon!

Leah and Jason were terrific hosts! They were so welcoming and friendly. We felt relaxed and right at home on arrival. The hut was spotless and beautifully decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hot tub was the perfect way to end an evening followed by a glass of wine by the fire pit. It was the perfect romantic getaway and we would absolutely stay again.

My fiancé and I had the most perfect time staying at Lucy's little hut! It was a surprise booked for my partners birthday and it was everything & more. We live in London and work 6 days a week so we are always busy and in a fast environment, so to stay in such a peaceful perfect getaway with the most incredible views it was beyond amazing! Lucy was a diamond she was very attentive, caring and a delight to have met. Thank you Lucy for giving us such a peaceful and precious couple of days staying in your lovely garden. We hope to visit again soon and I will definitely be sharing this experience for friends and family to visit. Thank you x

The photos just don’t do this place justice, it’s even nicer than it looks in the photos if that’s even possible. Great communication, Kelly was happy to answer any questions we had and even set up the hot tub before our arrival so we could use it on the first night. The views are amazing, the village is beautiful. The bus into Canterbury was easy to navigate and the dinner at the Kings Arms was amazing. The hut is beautifully set up for a luxuriously relaxing time and that’s exactly what we had. Would thoroughly recommend. WOW !! what a beautiful air b&b. the location is so tranquil, incredibly peaceful and so relaxing. to be able to watch and listen to the birds on the decking area was exactly what my soul needed. the bed was incredibly comfortable, the attention to detail throughout the property was stunning. the bread was delicious too!! thank you so so much again, it was wonderful being able to celebrate my partners birthday here. we will definitely be returning 🩷

Our stay at the Owl hut was stunning. Anne-Marie was helpful, thoughtful & friendly. Anne-Marie was welcoming when we arrived & said if we needed anything at all to just ask. The Owl Hut is situated in it's own private area and we was left to our own device's. The views around the area where stunning, it was quiet & peaceful as well. The hut it's self had everything in it for our stay & was so cozy. We would highly recommend the Owl hut & we will definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic cabin in a great location with lovely view. Perfect spot to sit around the fire pit. Our dog absolutely loved sniffing around the trees. The plough is great pub for dinner only a short walk away. Make sure you take USB leads, as we could only find 2 USB ports for charging in the downstairs kitchen. Or a couple portable chargers like we luckily had. We would definitely be back!

This is a perfect escape if you fancy a couple of days in the country. Serene countryside and the added aspects of lambs in the field beyond was picture perfect, you felt like you really had a little safe haven. The hut itself has everything you need, the wood burning stove was really useful as it was a little chilly at night and gave great ambiance. The bed itself was incredibly comfy, my friend and I easily slept 9 hours a night in the hut! We took their recommendations in the welcome pack and went to a few of the restaurants and farm shops mentioned, all phenomenal! Especially the three chimneys for a roast dinner! Beautiful walks nearby, close enough to Rye and Camber Sands if you fancy a day at the coast. The compostable toilet was smart and effective, didn’t smell at all! Also, the cake and apple juice left for us was so tasty and a real treat! Already thinking about booking again - thank you Sian

Wow! absolutely loved Annie's place. The views were incredible. I loved sitting on the deck, reading a book and watching the horses. The hut was clean, smelt amazing and looked beautiful. The bathroom was small but had everything we needed. A heater was provided as well as the log burner which came in handy for the crisp morning and evenings. The bed linen was so soft and the bed was so cosy! Would love to stay again.

We spent three unforgettable nights at this lovely cabin on the farm with my wife. The setting is absolutely peaceful — surrounded by nature, sheep, and horses. The host was incredibly welcoming and even left us a delicious homemade pie, fresh eggs, and milk, which made for perfect breakfasts. We enjoyed most of our meals outside, taking in the beautiful sunsets. There’s also a fantastic outdoor jacuzzi bath that needs to be booked separately, but it’s absolutely worth it. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and unwind!

What a place. So special. Has everything you need but also you feel connected to your surroundings and nature. Having a warm shower in the sunny glade was 👌🏻. Emma was a lovely host and always got back to my messages and was lovely. If you like the simple pleasure of sitting round a fire and soaking up nature and the stars this is for you. We cycled and was very doable on a sunny spring day, not too hilly and close enough to great pubs.

This place was just gorgeous. Private gardens with cute shower and toilet block a short walk away. Cher and her husband were helpful and friendly, we were even given some feed to feed the lovely cows and goats. Both of us that stayed there are 5ft11 and we couldn't fit in the bed length ways, we had a great sleep on our sides bending our knees though. I don't think this would suit anyone over 6ft unless a solo stay so they could sleep diagonally on the bed.
