We had a unforgettable weekend at Kathryn's home with good friends! The pool, the barn, the privacy and the surroundings were spectacular! I already recommended the home to mu family because it does feel like home 🏡

This is our second time staying here at the cottage and we love it. It’s close to our family, close to town and things to do, and the house is perfect for what we need during our stay. The hosts are consistently super responsive, kind, and helpful.

Incredible house! If it is possible, we would give it 10 stars out of 5. It has an “old feel” with the stone exterior, deep windowsills, and interior woodwork. Yet it is also updated, beautifully decorated, and stocked with absolutely everything you could possibly need (and more) during your stay! You will want for nothing. The towels are very plush and bedding is excellent. Location is ideal (5 minutes from town) and the view from the hot tub / fire pit /and patio is so peaceful and relaxing. Due to the weather we were unable to use the pool, but it was very inviting. The hosts responded to any of our correspondence within minutes and it was very easy to work with them. If it is available, we hope to return again next year.

This house was the perfect meeting place for our family! The kids had so much fun exploring the property! We hope to make a trip back when it’s warmer!

Matthew and Loretta's property was amazing for our annual "college friends" weekend. The home was perfect for getting cozy and spending quality time together, while still providing each couple with privacy and space. Extremely easy to work with and very friendly but let me warn you that as beautiful as the pictures are they did not prepare me for how beautiful the view is, it was spectacular!!! My granddaughter said it was better than tv !!! Home away from home❤️❤️❤️

Attractive place; very clean; quiet despite being right on the road. Liked the wood paneling throughout. So nice to be TV-free for a weekend! Will definitely come back.

Matt was a phenomenal host! Very responsive and helpful at all times! His cabin was like a dream come true! Felt right at home and had everything we needed for our stay! Will use him the next time we stay in State College!

Sarah's Alpaca Farm guest house was the perfect getaway for our family. It's even better in person! Sarah thought of everything possible that we would need to be comfortable and at home. The kids really enjoyed feeding the alpacas and petting some of them. There are 3 very sweet dogs that they loved to play with as well. It is about half a mile walk from the guest house to see the alpacas but it's a beautiful picturesque stroll. You can drive there too. No matter which direction you look, the views are breathtaking. At night we took advantage of the thoughtfully set up fire pit out front, where Boots the sweet cat would hang out with us. Sarah's guest house is where you want to be if you're looking for something quiet, peaceful and if you love animals. The super flexible check-in and check-out times was so nice. It's like being on a true vacation beacuse we didn't have to set our alarm clocks to rush out of there. House instructions were kept short and sweet. Thank you Sarah!

The house suited our needs for a place to spend the night. The house was a bit cold for our liking but for one night, it was doable. Thanks for providing a clean place for us to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. Andrea kept us in the loop before our arrival and letting us know about power being out and when it came back on before we even arrived from storms they had in Johnstown. Checking in was a breeze and the house was easy to find. The house is well taken care of and very clean. Andrea left snacks as well as a few baby items incase we needed them. This was our first time traveling with our baby so it was great that she had some basics on hand already there incase we forgot something. Loved the location. It was very peaceful and quiet. Not far from family we were visiting and local restaurants. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

An Absolute GEM!!!! Hands Down the Best place to stay in Johnstown. I travel quite often & this adorable home is in my Top 5 - the unique charm, funky decor & warm relaxed feel makes you right at Home. The Rooms were spacious, linens were great & the shower was Hot! Right around the corner from Our Son's (Fantastic Fried Chicken) & all the old local churches. I hope to stay here every time I'm in Johnstown!

We had a wonderful stay at Mary Beth's place this past weekend! The amenities were perfect and it was so helpful to have all of the little extras that we found when we got there (ex. K-cups, extra toiletries, etc.) She thought of every little detail that might be needed. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay, its very private, great for a getaway. It is hard to find, but Christine gave us excellent directions and even kept us updated on conditions as roads were icy/snowy. She was very responsive and helpful. Her place is beautiful!

Lovely home, located in the beautiful Pennsylvania country side. Ann stopped by for a visit, and is well versed in all the local events and restaurant's in the surrounding area. We attended a wedding at the Woodhaven Event Venue. The house is within walking distance of the venue with the added bonus of crossing the covered bride at the bottom of the hill. The house is beautifully furnished and we had no issues cooking our meals and also took advantage of the fire pit located in the back of the house. Thanks Ann and Richard. I highly recommend you check this place out if you are looking to spend some time in the area.

Lydia’s place was wonderful! Everything was clean and the customer service was immaculate! She is very welcoming and made our stay a breeze. 10/10 recommend.
