We had a family vacation and enjoyed our stay at the house. The house is spacious and clean. The driveway is steep. We enjoyed the screened porches overlooking the lake.....beautiful sunsets. There is a small private and shallow water area between the dock and the boathouse. The grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed playing in the area.

Thank you, Palmer for an enjoyable stay at your beautiful lake house. We came up for a college tour of UVM and the location was perfect. It took us only 20 minutes to get there and then at the end of our day we came back to relax and unwind at your comfy and spotless home. Every room was beautifully furnished , comfortable and really just felt homey. The kids enjoyed hanging out downstairs watching movies while the adults enjoyed cocktails and talking all while taking in the amazing view of the lake. We had a wonderful time and would certainly return. Only two minor issues, one of which just might have been our own unfamiliarity with the home. The living room gets really warm and even though we turned down the thermostat, it kept creeping up. But it could have even been the fact that it was so sunny one of the days we were there. A minor issue. Outside, the railing to get down from the deck to the yard is a bit wobbly in places and may be due to be replaced soon. Also, no big deal.

We so enjoyed our stay at The Boathouse! It is a beautiful property, so serene and a real place to escape from busy life! The view to Lake Champlain is amazing, with beautiful views of the mountains in the distance. Beach / water access couldn't be beat. The interior of the home is lovely and well decorated, very comfortable and stunning architecture. Even though this home is pretty remote, the internet proved to be strong. We enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, burning fires in the fire pit, and the sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. Hosts were great and provided very detailed information about the home!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakeside house. The property was exactly as described—peaceful, well-maintained, and surrounded by stunning views. From relaxing on the front porch to enjoying the view of the lake, every moment felt like a retreat. The house was spotless, fully equipped, and made us feel right at home. We all truly enjoyed our time and would love to return!

This was the perfect spot for our family trip. Plenty of room for 8 adults. The house is private and there’s lots to do close by. We swam, golfed, hiked, and made day trips to Burlington VT and Montréal. The sunsets by the dock were amazing. I loved this property and would visit again if available.

If you are looking to shut away the world for a few days and live in a beautiful cabin by the lake, this is the spot! We had a fantastic stay right in the lap of nature and had the most incredible view of the lake and a private dock overlooking it!

Our family of five just spent Thanksgiving at the lake house. Its size and layout accommodated us well - having the second frig became necessary. It’s a lovely place and stunning views from almost every window. Would definitely come again. Thanks!

Beautiful location with spectacular views of Lake Champlain. The Best Nest offers peace and quiet in a private setting. Everything was just as described in the Airbnb posting.

Mitch has a lovely home with beautiful surroundings (Lake Champlain for kayaking and listening to the water lap on the shore, view of mountains across in the Adirondacks), local walks in the area are nice. Hiking not far away. We went into Burlington for a concert. Nice to realize that Mitch is related to a close friend of mine. A very peaceful spot,

Cannot recommend Audrey or her space highly enough. It was beautiful, private, spacious, with so many amenities. She was so gracious to stock the fridge with a few items since we were getting in late. It was overall a wonderful and comfortable stay in a beautiful location.

This was the perfect snowy getaway we were looking for! The space was even larger then expected, clean, comfortable and very cozy. The views right on the lake were idyllic and we would definitely return here in the summer to take advantage of the water more! The hosts were welcoming and responsive while the space still felt private. Overall this was a peaceful weekend and we would recommend this spot for others to enjoy as well.

We had a lovely stay. The place was exactly as described, walkable to everything you could want in town. The place was clean, organized, and everything was clearly laid out and labeled. The fireplace was great for warmth and helped create a cozy environment. The kitchen was helpful, and the place had thoughtful touches that made it feel cared for like the extra blankets, heated floors, and bathroom toiletries. One thing of note, we stayed in the winter and a combination of the snow on one side and a large utility truck on the other made it feel quite tight pulling into the designated space on the driveway. I imagine at any other time guests would not experience this, and it would by no means deter me from staying again when up in Vermont!

Arrived a little later than expected as we had a 6 hour ride. His wife met us at check in to hand off the keys and explain the parking. Park pass lot was right across the street and always had a spot available. The space was perfect. Super clean with a well stocked kitchen. We came to town for a youth hockey tournament so the kitchen was much appreciated after the games. Location was perfect. Walking distance to the Olympic Center and right in the middle of all the shops! Bonus that Starbucks is right across the street! We will be back!

Meachele is a wonderful hostess and her place is cozy comfortable clean and exactly right for our family. We come up to Lake Placid for a hockey tournament and can’t imagine staying anywhere else. The place and her hospitality are more than you can ask for and we are so grateful that she opens her Airbnb to us.

It's a lovely little place for a couple like us to stay, right on the perimeter (literally) of proper downtown BVT. Everything is where you think it is, and they provided great coffee options, toiletries - the works! After a bleary-eyed arrival, slipping into a cozy, well laid out space that's full of color felt amazing. Great communication, and super worth it!

This was a great getaway! It was the perfect size house for the three of us. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped (especially compared to other places I’ve stayed). Emmy was responsive and available. I wish we could have stayed here longer!

We loved this home. The lakefront location was beautiful and convenient. It is 20 minutes away from both downtown Burlington and a lakeside state park we visited for a hike. The home was a great fit for our family. The proximity of the home to the park was terrific for our dogs. Would definitely book again.

Mary Beth's place is a dream! It is super cute, comfortable, and clean, but the most amazing part is how close it is to the water. There are gorgeous views of the lake from the comfy daybed, the kitchen, and the deck. The beds are comfy, too. I look forward to returning soon.

We had a great stay at Suncroft. The place was clean, quiet, and cozy. Would definitely stay here again!

This is our second time staying at Andrew’s pad. This place is exactly as pictured. It’s quiet, on a dead end road, super secluded and just all around peaceful. Andrew and his co-host were super responsive and accommodating. We can’t wait to come back.

Great stay, appreciate how responsive Tonya was when I had a question and it was a great place to get away for a couple days. Will definitely use this place again when coming to the area!

This was my first time staying at Ken’s beautiful home on Minerva Lake. When I walked inside I was in awe. The interior home is stunning. A large dining room table was off to the side of the living room and we loved gathering around the table to do watercolor paintings. The bedrooms are comfy and cute. Little details around the house like nightlights and paintings are so sweet. Everything we needed was there for us. The kitchen was cute and we enjoyed cooking our meals and making salads. The fire pit outside was also lots of fun. We made s’mores and we were hoping to see the Northern Lights but unfortunately they didn’t come down south far enough, but we still had fun. The house is extremely comfortable and inviting. We loved our stay and look forward to coming back. Thanks Ken for everything. Lori.

Our stay was pure bliss. Caleb and Eleri are amazing and the cottage is simply perfect. The location is beautiful and hard to beat, the space is carefully appointed and very comfortable, with generous amenities. Congrats to the hosts for building such an amazing place. We can't wait to see them develop their different endeavours further.
