This upscale lodging is situated in the West Hill's prominent Willamette Heights neighborhood where historic classics meet the urban edge. The best part? The place is all your own! No worries about whether the TV will wake your host; no sounds of snoring will come through the walls; no need to tippy toe around to keep from bothering light sleepers and there will be no wake-up blast of somebody else's alarm clock! Just sweet, sweet privacy. Lighted parking a few steps from the door makes for safe and easy access, and a four number key code allows for arrival at any hour without concern of disturbing your hosts. Enjoy as much tea and coffee as you need to stay comfortably caffeinated. If you're lacking something important like a specialty kitchen gadget, personal item or office supply, let me know I'm happy to help! The garage of the Guesthouse cottage serves as my artist (painting) studio, so I am generally working on the premises if you need me. The Guesthouse Getaway is in a fun area with over fifty exceptional restaurants within a mile of the home. Go for a hike in the surrounding nature, check out some of the breathtaking galleries, and catch a live sporting event or show in the evening. Getting around is easy whether you prefer public transportation (bus stop is 4 blocks away), Uber, Lyft, taxi cabs, rental car, bicycle or foot. For whatever brings you through/to Oregon, stay at Mama J’s comfortable, peaceful, safe and convenient spot. Portland is just ten miles away, the closest beaches, Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood are all about an hour, and there are numerous hikes from the forest right down the street to Silver Falls and beyond. The neighborhood is peaceful and your private patio is the perfect place for a beverage and some bird and squirrel watching. If it rains, hang out in the gazebo! Hope to host you here!

Fred Meyer and New Seasons grocery stores are close by. The ADU has a double bed, memory foam mattress, and a white noise machine.
