A verifiable tree house. Open and airy with panoramic views of the forest - a very cozy retreat for a couple. House backs up to Brushy Ridge with glimpses of Gingercake and Parks Mountains peaking through. So many trails to hike close by. Driveway was small challenge with FWD - you have to maintain momentum and go straight up with no hesitation to get to the flat parking area - 4WD or AWD should have no problems. Andrew was a very responsive Host. We love the area and hope to come back again soon.

Our stay was wonderful. There was so much to do in the area that we were always kept busy, it was nice to have a place that felt like home to go back to. We loved that it was pet friendly and can’t wait to go back with the pets!

We had a great time here!! A beautiful little cabin with all the amenities needed for a stay. Very responsive host and friendly. Loved having a private hot tub surrounded by trees to relax in and a great spot to view some stars. We dined for breakfast at Louise’s Famous Rockhouse right down the street and highly highly recommend. Best biscuits ever had! We loved our visit to Newland!

When they set up this place they really thought about everything it was the first Airbnb that I’ve been to that they have everything Tylenol, Q-tops, hair ties, they even had water, soda and snacks. it was nicely decorated and very peaceful the hot tub was definitely a nice feature to have. We’ll definitely return.

I loved this place and will definitely be back. The house was quaint and peaceful, and the hosts definitely put love and intention into providing everything they could for guests to be comfortable. The amenities felt luxurious, and the paths leading to them felt magical. The kitchen was well supplied with tools for those that love to cook, and they provided ample information on things to do in the area in a cute little info binder. The hosts were kind, welcoming, responsive, and flexible with us. 10/10 absolutely loved and can’t wait to visit again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! 🥰

Beautiful home. Nice secluded peaceful surroundings. Dogs enjoyed their walks. Had fully stocked kitchen and all amenities. We'll definitely stay here again.

Went for a girls weekend and it was perfect. The cabin was very nice, it was peaceful and beautiful. We went to Morganton and shopped the local stores and ate and had the very best coffee at the book store Thornwell so I highly recommend.

Had the most peaceful stay at Hemlock cove. The cabin was so clean and stocked with almost everything you could need for house essentials, just bring some good food and you're set! The hottub was spotless and tucked in the perfect private spot on the deck with a lovely view of the woods. The hosts were very accommodating and flexible with requests, like early check ins. The location was great, not too far from the local diner and access to many hiking trails. 10/10 stay. I'll be coming back and definitely recommend you stay here!

Two thumbs up on this lovely house. The views from the back porch were fantastic with nice open lake visible. The house is also on a cove, so a bit quieter than the main lake, but the water level off the dock was 12-14 ft so no issues with docking the boat we rented. There was a ladder for swimming and kayaks came with the house-we brought our own paddle boards. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of silverware and we were able to prepare two large meals for about 20 people with no issues. The driveway is a bit steep and long and there are stairs to navigate to get in the house and within so may be challenging if mobility an issue. The wifi was a bit slow if multiple folks using at once, but overall good for routine functions. The fire pit area was nice and well-maintained with seating for eight. Overall we loved this rental and would highly recommend.

Amazing house with so much to do. The house is nicer than even the photos could relay, something not typical of rental properties. We had an amazing long weekend and wish we could have stayed longer.

This place was perfect!! We had 4 families and there was plenty of space. The view of the lake was beautiful and it had so many comforts of home. We will definitely come again. AvantStay was so responsive if we had any questions!

Stayed for several months while working remotely. Beautiful place in both winter and spring. Several gorgeous hiking trails nearby. Cabin is extremely cozy with a great private fire pit area in the back. Charcoal & gas grills provided. Very fast/reliable WiFi for streaming, Zoom calls, etc. Amazing host. William is super friendly and always willing to drop whatever he’s doing and answer any questions or provide assistance when needed. Will definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.

Victor was a great communicator and was always available to answer my questions. The house was very cozy and private. I enjoyed the views of the lake and beautiful scenery.

Our stay was amazing ! The cabin looked just like the pictures. It was very clean and cozy! The cabin comes with literally everything you need even down to the forks. Highly recommend!

We had a breathtaking view from the kitchen and the living room. There was 4 of us and the place was perfect. Lots of light throughout the house, however, loved how dark the bedrooms were for a good night sleep. We enjoyed kayaking and loved the lake and the trees view. Lots of seating places to enjoy the lake outdoors. Very calm and relaxing place, we only saw a few people, for most of the time it felt very private . The house was very clean, plenty towels, hardwood floors, ample space, fridge, etc. Wi-Fi went off the first night, but was OK next day. We only stayed 2 nights but we enjoyed every bit of it and we hope to be back soon. Jeremiah was quick to respond to messages. Definitely will be recommending this place to friends. The cherry blossom was blooming, which made the view even more beautiful! We saw a blue heron and lots of other birds. Loved this place!

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin. It’s a great location to take day trips and go out for meals. The home was in great condition and had what we needed. Danielle was very responsive. The pontoon boat is an amazing feature to have and we enjoyed taking it out. The hill to get to the lake from the house was quite steep and may be difficult for some people to navigate - just something to be aware of. The actual home / host / experience were all excellent!

Very nice and peaceful lake cabin. Roomy and will accommodate up to 8-10 comfortably. Access to lake a dock is a big plus.

Christy's property was exactly what we needed for a girls trip to celebrate our friends 40th birthday. Every detail was thoughtful down to snacks for when we first got there to amenities in the bathroom in case we forgot things at home. The property itself was gorgeous and had so many places to hand out and relax. Christy was great to provide clear instructions to help us navigate the property as well. Could definitely see many more trips here in the future!

Perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway right on the water. The hosts were very responsive and equipped the house with everything you could need. They provided a fire pit, grill, kayaks, and canoes which were perfect activities given the weather. There are houses nearby but it still felt like we had our privacy. We would definitely rent this house again and come back to Lake Norman!

Beautiful and relaxing little cabin by a pond. Great for excursions to hiking spots in the region. Joey was very helpful and responsive. Be aware that there is no stove/oven, but there is a microwave and gas grill. We really enjoyed using the grill, which is on a patio overlooking the pond!
