Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. The ceilings are ship-lap throughout the downstairs; both bathrooms and the bedroom closet are cedar-lined; the interior trim is rough-cut pine, all milled and installed by our family. The cabin is in a private, wooded clearing away from the road but less than ten minute drive to Tylertown. Come experience the tranquility in this secluded spot!
