The cottage was very nice for me and my girlfriend to get away for the week!

We had a wonderful stay at the Green Acorn while celebrating my niece’s 6th birthday with a trip to Great Wolf Lodge! The location was perfect — a quick & easy drive to the park. The home was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the biggest highlights for us was the amazing game room! After a fun (and tiring!) day at the water park, it was so lovely to come back and let the kids keep the fun going in the kids' space. The game room was stocked with so many fun options that we stayed entertained for endless hours of Uno. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the house, especially the kid-friendly spaces. It made traveling with younger children so much easier. Everything from the comfy beds to the well-stocked kitchen helped make this trip smooth, relaxing, and memorable for the whole family. We would stay here again and recommend this hidden gem to everyone! The hosts are excellent - super friendly, helpful, and a joy!

Cozy, nice place to stay near Jim Thorpe! Overall we loved our stay. The place was clean and cozy, perfect for a family or small group. We loved the hot tub to relax, kitchen/living room space to spend time together, and convenient washer/dryer. The twin beds upstairs are better for children - the mattresses were not super comfortable, and the beds were a bit cramped, being so close to the sloped attic ceiling. The upstairs space would have been perfect for older kids to have their own, tucked-away play area. You may want to bring additional glassware (or plasticware) and towels. There were coffee mugs and glasses for one meal for ~5 people, but we were constantly washing them to use again. No shotglasses, in case you will need those. The house is st4ocked with many towels for the hot tub and shower (some tucked away in corners - keep looking!), but I found they would get soaked from one use because they were so thin.

Kevin’s place was absolutely perfect! The setting was extremely peaceful and his place was a real gem!! So nicely furnished and the hot tub a bonus. He was very accommodating and communicated very well. This stay was for my wife’s birthday and she absolutely loved it. I will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it!!!!

Claudio’s place was amazing and I’m not at all surprised. I’ve stayed at his other location and they are a great experience.

The property we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and offered fantastic views of the river and surrounding areas. The house itself was very well maintained and offered a great outdoor area with the hot tub. Josh and Nicole were extremely accommodating and were absolutely fantastic hosts, would completely recommend them and staying on one of their properties.

We had a fantastic two-night stay at Adam's house with our family and kids. The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the sauna and hot tub—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The outdoor fire pit was a hit for roasting marshmallows under the stars. Inside, the cozy vintage fireplace and pool table in the living room made for great family time, while the separate dining area was ideal for shared meals. The house is nicely secluded, offering peace and quiet, far from any neighbors—just what we were looking for. Highly recommend for a cozy family escape!

We stayed at this property for a weekend getaway. We liked it.The house had everything we needed for our stay. Our dog loved the backyard. She wouldn’t come inside the house. I will recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a home away from home. We will definitely come back to this house whenever we are able to come back.

The cottage is beautiful, tranquil, and very comfortable - a one of a kind place. The history of the cottage is very interesting and was part of our wonderful stay there. We, along with our guests with four legs, relished walking the serene property. David was a great host - very helpful, responsive, and nice to work with. We look forward to returning.

We rented Helen's house for 3 months over the winter. The location is excellent, we walked to dinners and saw a few shows at the Opera house. Helen is a great communicator and host. Highly recommend staying at Helen's house.

Susan left clear instructions to follow during our stay. The home was clean. She was helpful in responding questions I had. I would go to her Airbnb again.

Don't hesitate to book this place! It was so clean and so cozy. Rodney was excellent and always communicated quickly. The place had everything we needed and more. Our pups had lots of room to play in the beautiful back yard. The heating in the home was excellent and Rodney plowed the snow for us. Lastly, the bed and furniture were very comfy.

To our AirBnB hosts Carol & Pete: the BIRDHOUSE in Columbia, PA THANK YOU for your warm hospitality. The scones were delicious and the beautiful flowers left in our place of stay. Everything was nice, clean and we were provided with the comforts of home. From beginning to end. For allowing us to tour your other properties. The BUNTINGs were truly blessed. Will definitely come again. May God continue to bless you.

We really enjoyed our stay at the River House. It’s nice to be able to bring our dog and he had a blast looking out all of the windows and sitting on the deck. The place was very relaxing and sitting on the super comfortable couch at night made us feel like we were really on vacation. The kitchen had all cooking amenities and the bathroom was beautifully and thoughtfully remodeled. The location itself was great-felt remote enough for a relaxing vacation, but was also close enough to get to the main town and surrounding areas. A few things-The main bed is small. There’s a deck off the room that, if enclosed, could really allow for a bigger sleeping space for guests. Also, a couple lamps would be nice for more ambient lighting. Regardless, we’d love to come back and stay for a longer period of time. Those sunsets never get old! This place is a true gem-book now!

My husband and I got married here and decided to stay in the same exact cabin as our wedding night on our 5 year anniversary. We adore Lisa and Doug, they are so friendly and the space is so relaxing and beautiful. All of my friends were jealous that we went back!!

We really enjoyed our stay. My mom and I were able to navigate around the area with ease. Julia's place was within the city of Lancaster but, was extremely quiet and comfortable. Everything was as it was stated in air b-n-b the listing. There was plenty of space for storing your clothes during your stay. The only thing that we wished for was a place to hang our dresses. Otherwise everything was just absolutely fantastic.

We had the best time staying here for a Mother and daughter’s trip! We will definitely be back next year! The surroundings to the cottage are so peaceful and in the most beautiful countryside. Inside the cottage is so cozy and relaxing. You won’t be sorry to stay here! 10/10 highly recommend!!

We stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the cozy house, the yard, and especially sitting in the gazebo in the evening. Watching the farmer with his beautiful team of horses was a treat too. There are several local markets close by. We loved September Farm Market and ended up getting a pizza there to take to the house and cook. It was delicious! The Amish farm market on Rt. 10 had nice produce and staple options and was less than 10 minutes away. During our trip we visited Longwood Gardens, 45 minutes away- traveled all on back roads with beautiful countryside. There is SO much to do in the area! We wish that we could have stayed longer but we hope to come back again!! Thanks Joni for a very special stay.

기차를 좋아하는 조카와 함께 처음으로 펜실베니아 여행을 했습니다. 기차 박물관과 토이 뮤지엄과 가까운 곳에 있어서 이동하기에 매우 편했습니다. 멀지 않은곳에 마트와 레스토랑이 있습니다. 숙소에는 필요한 용품들이 잘 구비되어 있었고 매우 깨끗했습니다. 방에서 보이는 뒷마당이 아름답습니다. 히터 시스템이 잘되어 있어 아침 저녁 춥지 않고 아늑한 휴식을 할 수 있었습니다. Dale은 필요한 일이 있을 때 질문을 남기면 빠르게 답변을 해주었습니다. 우리 가족은 이 숙소에서 환상적인 시간을 보냈어요.

This was the perfect place for a relaxing vacation! The surrounding scenery was beautiful, the cottage is quaint but decked out, and the town was lovely to explore—very walkable!! Michelle and Mark were fantastic hosts and ensured that anything you could think of was thought of and tended to proactively, not to mention the consistent communication. Would absolutely stay again!!
