The Beechworth Conservatory

Welcome to The Beechworth Conservatory! The c1855 Country House is set on the private grounds of the old Newtown grocers, which has now been turned into a multifunctional venue by local design partners Megan & Ollie. The accomodation in the shopkeeper's residence has been lovingly restored complete with original heritage features. Indigo Cottage has been offering holiday accommodation for the last 17 years and has been rated by the council as of historical significance. With interiors to match but with modern conveniences it is surrounded by decking designed to capture the stunning views on all sides and provide great outdoor living space. It has an open fireplace for the chilly winter nights, and reverse cycle airconditioning/heating in each room. It also has locked bike storage and high speed NBN fibre to the premises.

Wee Varrich

Wee Varrich nestles within a delightful landscape; a fusion of carefully sculptured plantings of trees, shrubs, hedges, lawns and vines, against the power of the Stanley State Forest. Situated on the edges of Stanley village, the entrance to Varrich is a winding path through tall eucalypts. The property is situated on 2.49 hectares on land that was mined during the Gold rush era of the 1850’s. Wee Varrich is a fully self-contained cottage adjacent to the main house and secluded by plantings.

A cosy unit that has everything you need but it's the seclusion shared with an olive grove ,sheep and poultry that is what makes this place unique. A true nature experience . Situated midway between Melbourne and Sydney it is ideal stop over. Ideally located to the snow, wineries, gourme region, lakes or for just chilling. Our recently renovated cottage loves the environment & uses rainwater, solar power & vintage European furniture.
