Samuel was one of the best hosts I have had so far since using AirBbB. He was really friendly and great for instructions, always responsive and great to talk to. His family is a great company to have, treated myself and my partner amazing and made us feel right at home. They helped us with great recommendations for the first time travelling to Edinburgh and made our trip a perfect stay, would recommend his place to everyone looking for an affordable place.

We really enjoyed our time in this beautiful appartment, which is easily accessible from town by train. Since it is rather close to two different train stations there is never a long waiting time. The appartment itself was very beautiful and in a nice area. The only struggle we had was with the shower, because the water didn't drain off very fast so only two people were able to shower within one hour, because otherwise the bathroom was flooded.

We had a wonderful stay here and cannot wait to come back! Jennifer is amazing as a host, quick responses and so helpful. She gave us a list of things we could whilst we were there which was so helpful. The apartment is so cosy and was spotless when we arrived. The holiday village is fantastic for kids. The swimming pool is easy to book online and the playroom is great for the younger ones. The restaurant is a bit on the expensive side but we were able to cook in the apartment, each evening. The double air fryer was super handy! We loved this place and genuinely cannot wait for another visit.

Ian’s place was stunning in every aspect from the cleanliness right down to the location. This Air BnB is a real gem and perfect for exploring The Lake District. Ian is a good host who answered all of our questions. We loved it so much we booked an extra night. Would highly recommend a stay in this Air BnB, we will definitely return.

A comfortably restored flat in a Victorian villa. The location is convenient as it is within easy reach of dunoon either by car or bus. There is also a good path leading to the town if you like walking. Puck’s Glen and Benmore are easily reachable in the other direction. The place is quiet, clean and the instructions were clear. Would stay again.

Where do I start ? This is by far the best Air bnb we have stayed in ! The photos do not do it justice it’s spotless , spacious, the bed is so comfortable and the hosts could not make you feel anymore welcome . What a find in the heart of Glasgow 11/10

We had a wonderful time at Abbey Farm. The property was very well equipped with lots of space for us all. We enjoyed the use of the pool table, football table and the hot tub was fantastic. The local are including the beach are lovely and there are plenty of things to do near by. We will recommend to friends and family and hope to return ourselves one day.

Lovely place with the bonus of parking for two cars, we stayed here as a family with another family and found everything about the place great. Really well kept property with everything you need and a great host. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely dining/lounge space. Really good size fridge & freezer. Path to Blencathra from the bottom of the driveway 😀. Small note on the parking - we had two cars - I found it easier to reverse the smaller one up the driveway. I found it too tight for the bigger one - but could drive up and turn (via a 9 point turn!) at the top.

Wonderful house which felt bigger than we expected- there was loads of room for us as an older family of 5. It had everything we needed and is in a quiet road so felt very peaceful, whilst still being a short walk from the shops and attractions in Largs. We loved our time here and would definitely stay again.

Vielen Dank Marjory, es war uns ein Vergnügen bei dir wohnen zu dürfen! Ein tolles Haus, eine vollendete Ausstattung, der es an nichts fehlte. Es hat uns sehr gefreut, in dieser Art willkommen geheißen zu werden. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse auf die Berge wurde schon beschrieben, und trifft es voll und ganz. Wir haben jeden Tag in deinem Haus genossen. Es ist geräumig, vollständig und mit Liebe eingerichtet, eine Unterkunft in die man ankommt, und nicht wieder abreisen will. Wir werden wiederkommen, wenn es uns nach Schottland verschlägt. Die Lage ist super für Ausflüge nach Glasgow, Perth, Dundee und natürlich Edinburgh. Nochmals vielen Dank!

We had an amazing stay at Seb’s place for our girls weekend! The photos don’t do the space justice, the area is very peaceful and it is located within beautiful surroundings. Seb was very responsive and also allowed us to have a later check out which was very helpful! We also used the boat on the property which was great fun and the cottage was the perfect base for visiting other activities in the area (Peebles, Go Ape etc.). Seb also allowed us to park a fifth car and so he was very accommodating with all of our requests. There were plenty of kitchen utensils/appliances to make our stay very comfortable. Seb even left us some cake to welcome us which was a really nice touch!

The house was clean and spacious with all the amenities that we needed for a relaxing weekend. It was a nice touch to have toiletries available for guests, my teenage boys appreciated the huge television!

Плюсы: Дом прекрасно подходит только для взрослых. Постельное бельё и полотенца очень чистые и белоснежные. Стильный интерьер во всём доме. Минусы: В комнате с большими зеркалами будьте очень осторожны. Так как зеркало не закреплено и сильно шатается от малейшего прикосновения. Это очень небезопасно. Ночью пришлось вставать в туалет и нечайно задела зеркало, я сильно испугалась, так как зеркало зашаталось и от этого громко зашумело. Оно могло разбиться и поранить меня. В итоге я не выспалась. За кроватью были обнаружены вещи, забытые другими гостями. Это означает, что уборка дома производится не тщательно. В описании дома были указаны, что не предоставляют домашние тапочки, но они оказались очень необходимы. Так же на кухне не оказалось кофемашины, а лишь заварник для кофе. На кухне необходимы наличие бумажных салфеток. В общем рекомендую, если закрепят зеркало. Спасибо.

Que lindo fue conocer a Julia y Scott!!! Que suerte tuvimos de elegir este espacio!!!! Sinceramente y sin lugar a dudas fue lo más lindo de nuestro viaje a Glasgow. La amabilidad y cariño con que nos recibieron no se puede describir con palabras. El departamento es hermoso, con un balcón con vistas maravillosas al río y nuestra habitación, cómoda, cálida y acogedora. Otra cosa: el desayuno de Scott!!!! No se puede creer lo exquisito y bien preparado! Gran chef además de gran anfitrión. Si visitan Glasgow, no pierdan la oportunidad de conocer dos seres humanos enormes como Julia y Scott.

I spent nearly four months in Wendy's accommodation. I had a great time there! The apartment itself offers great views, and the room is very comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus and has a good connection to the city centre and main University Campus, as well as being close to a big supermarket and the beach. Being on the outskirts of the city and by the sea, it made it very easy to find peace, walking along the beach or visiting my personal favourite place, Newhailes Estate. For those coming to study here: the bus connection to the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings is not great, especially on the way back, and if you'll have to be there a lot I'd recommend getting a bicycle, which is about twice as fast. Wendy is a very friendly host, who is usually not home during the day but if you run into her and she has time she will be open for a chat - for example sharing stories or music. She loves baking, and might leave something she made in the fridge for you!

Allegra’s place was so cozy! We loved all of the natural light and all of the artwork. We got lots of use out of the electric kettle once we bought tea from the Morrison’s that is a short walk away. Getting around on the bus was SUPER easy because they were just around the corner. The children enjoyed a small playground a short block away. 6 of us stayed there comfortably and we were able to cook meals because of the well stocked kitchenware to save money. Overall a really amazing and affordable place to stay in Edinburgh.

Return visit to Maura's flat and again it didnt disappoint.We were given clear directions and getting into the flat via the key safe couldnt have been easier.Mauras flat is clean,very comfortable and has an excellent view of the peir and boats,perfect to sit and watch the comings and goings. We are delighted to have found Maura's flat, have no hesitstion in recommending it and we most definately will return.

This is by far my favorite Airbnb experience ever and I’ve been all over the place internationally. Julie-Ann is gregarious, friendly, considerate, beautiful soul. I consider her a friend at this point. She took extremely good care of me. Was very welcoming very fun to talk with. The pets are adorable and so sweet. It’s very central to a lot of amazing food and entertainment and close to the old city. An Uber is like five dollars from her house to anywhere you’d wanna go. I just love this place from top to bottom start to finish! I highly recommend.

Great location to explore Crieff on foot. McRosty Park was great and kept the kids entertained for hours. Highly recommend Bannister's bagels for lunch. Salt beef was amazing. Catrina's place was spacious and comfortable.

We had a lovely stay at Alex’s place. The flat was really clean and well stocked with tea and coffee and toiletries. The beds were comfy and warm. It was more spacious than I had expected so that was brilliant as there were 3 of us staying but it didn’t feel too cramped. Also the host kindly set up the sofa bed for us before arrival which was extremely helpful given that we were going to a wedding in the evening so wouldn’t have had much time to set things up ourselves. I think there could be a slight improvement on the check in time which is currently 4pm, this is quite late in my experience and later than any other Airbnb or accommodation I’ve stayed at which caused some logistical issues as we had bags and wanted to get settled before the wedding. However, despite that small bug bear I probably would stay again, and would recommend this place to others :) xx
