Remodeled 2nd floor of Country Cottage on the edge of town. Private entrance, 1 bedroom w/ Queen bed, eat in kitchen, bathroom, livingroom and use of outdoor firepit. Walking distance to Ghost Town Trail, Memorial Park, Ebensburg town square, community swimming pool, Legends Gym, Nathan's Divide Water Shed and Lake Rowena Park. We have extensively remodeled this special home and brought it forward from the 1960s while maintaining its character, including the original wrought iron railing and open vaulted living room. We've also incorporated some elements of Altoona's history into the home. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Originally built as a carriage house in 1820 along with the adjoining stone home and a second stone building originally used as an out kitchen. This rustic cottage has been tastefully modernized and has a queen sized bed, full size refrigerator/freezer, gas range, large screen TV, heat pump that supplies air conditioning and heat, hot water shower
