Snug Victorian Cottage in Heart of Alfriston Village

My house has been described as light and "cosy". It is filled with books, art and interesting things - it is very much a home from home, and not a holiday let. In the winter there is a log burner, in the summer a sunny flint walled garden. Nestled within the South Downs National Park this medieval village has independent and quirky shops, lots of choices of where to eat. Walks to enjoy - nearby is the sea, forest, vineyards, Downs or riverside. London 2 hours by car, 90 mins by train.

Garden Lodge, surrounded by garden and countryside

Garden Lodge is situated just off the South Downs Way on the edge of Alfriston village. Sited in the back garden of the main house there is access to a private patio area and to the garden. There is farm land bordering the property with views to the Downs. Numerous pubs, hotels and shops are just five minutes walk away in the village centre.
