The place was exactly as described. Very peaceful and a brilliant location, not too far from shops etc. Inside was beautiful, really modern with good character. Hot tub was a great addition. Easy to check in and host provided the exact coordinates which made it a smooth arrival. Would definitely stay again :)

We had the most incredible stay at Mayen Estate! From the moment we arrived, Ross and Valerie made us feel so welcome. Ross was always helpful, polite, and attentive to every detail, ensuring we had everything we needed. Their hospitality truly made the experience unforgettable. I honestly don’t think I will ever forget the house and the stay at Mayen estate. The estate itself is beyond magical. Even in the depths of winter, when outdoor activities were limited, the sheer beauty and charm of the place were more than enough. The highlight for us was the hot tub—it was such a treat to relax in after a chilly day, adding a perfect touch of luxury to our stay. Every moment spent here felt like a dream. If you’re looking for a serene, magnificent escape where you’ll be cared for by amazing hosts, Mayen Estate is the place to be. We can’t recommend it enough and look forward to returning someday!

The best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Beautiful location, cozy, relaxing and peaceful. Property had everything we needed. Stunning views from the Hot Tub. Host recommend booking a meal at local hotel and it was fantastic. Would highly recommend Brae Cottage.

Windyheads Bothy is a wonderful getaway. It has fantastic views and is surrounded by wildlife. There’s a fabulous widescreen fireplace which kept the living room nice and toasty. The place was great for a big family holiday.

The farmhouse is very spacious yet cosy too. It was a little difficult to find in the dark but Sophie guided us on the phone. The young adults in our family would have appreciated better WiFi connectivity than in just a few rooms but other than that we had a really enjoyable stay, close to our relatives in Forfar. Would definitely stay again.

Rebecca's house is gorgeous and the living space is very welcoming. We enjoyed the hot tub after long beach walks. The garden is very private, perfect for us and our dogs. Rebecca was very proactive, responsive and all the instructions were very clear. We had a very enjoyable stay and we would recommend Rebecca's house to anyone wanting to explore Montrose and surrounding areas.

We had a wonderful family break! We loved the outdoor space and the beds were super comfortable! We made use of the hot tub and BBQ and enjoyed days out to Stonehaven and St Cyrus beach.

Perfect place! We had a wonderful stay at Sheila’s cottage. It is beautiful, in a peaceful location with incredible views. The cottage was well appointed with everything we needed. Everything provided was great quality and the place was spotless. Comfy beds, great coffee machine and a lovely welcome gift. We are regular visitors to the area as we have family near by, we will absolutely be checking availability here first when planning our next trip.

We had a wonderful stay at Craigiedows to celebrate my mum’s birthday. Its location in the stunning scenery of the Cairngorms, off the beaten track but easy enough to get to, made for a perfect stay over the sunny Easter weekend. Ishbel was very communicative and super helpful throughout our stay and would highly recommend her cottage to anyone looking for a bit of escapism!

We had a lovely time at Lucy’s place. Plenty of space for 6 adults. Well equipped kitchen. Beautiful surroundings with walks from the doorstep. Felt remote but only a short drive to Banchory if you needed the shops. We would definitely like to return.

This is an outstanding place for kids and furry friends. Sue and Jim could not have been more helpful or welcoming - the cottage is pristine, cosy and with all you need no matter the weather. The grounds are stunning; affording you real privacy and lots to explore and do from climbing trees to den making, and all whilst surrounded by nature. You are only 10 mins from Inverurie which has plenty of shops to meet your needs. A trip to the Old Post Office for brilliant cakes, Castle Fraser and Kemnay are worth a visit as is the Pit Stop for a great fry up and the Gordon Highlanders museum is perfect for a raining day. Easily the most pet friendly place we have ever stayed.

The Bothy is a great place from which to explore the local area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would recommend.

We loved our stay at Gillian's urban cottage. The location was perfect for exploring Aberdeen, and it felt like a little oasis in the heart of the city. There was tons of room for our family of 5 and we would absolutely recommend staying here while visiting Aberdeen.

Our second stay in this fantastic cottage situated in a beautiful setting; the view is stunning. The interior is modern and very well appointed with two shower rooms. Located at the end of a long (beautiful) drive it is not far to farm shop for supplies, meals and much more! Banchory village is about 15 minutes drive away. On this stay we visited NT Crathes Castle, Haddo House and Pitmedden - all with amazing gardens. Catriona was again a great host and communicator - Thankyou

We were incredibly happy with our stay at the cottage. The location was ideal in a quiet and peaceful area and just a short drive in to the city and to several beautiful walking trails. The cottage was spacious and well equipped and there were even little Easter decorations put up. We felt right at home. We were greeted at our arrival and Sharon she showed us around the cottage and told us everything we needed to know for a pleasant stay. We would highly recommend this place, and wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you Sharon and Graham for such a lovely accommodation , lovely welcome and the best start to our holiday.

The cottage was lovely, well appointed and very well maintained. The bedrooms were spacious and there was lots of living space that allowed the family to get together or have some space. We enjoyed playing the games in the lounge. As a host Marion was friendly, responsive and very helpful. The welcome goods were appreciated and the cake was absolutely delicious.The cottage is well located for exploring Stonehaven and the surrounding area. As a family we had a wonderful time and would recommend Clerkswell Cottage.

This was our first holiday in Scotland and it didn't disappoint! Jennifer responded promptly to any questions we had before the holiday giving us advice on places to eat and visit during the week. The cottage was superbly located in a very quiet area with access to extensive woodland walks on the doorstep. The facilities were spot on. A well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, good bathrooms together with a spacious lounge made the stay very acceptable. Jennifer was always helpful and friendly. It was such an amazing place that we would love to go back again to explore more of this magical area. The red squirrels and deer were wonderful to spot as well as numerous birds. Thank you so much for sharing such a wonderful place!

We loved staying at Kevin’s space! The views were incredible, the air bnb was cozy and comfortable and felt like home! Kevin & Ericka were so kind to let us come by early to be able to bring our luggage and groceries in as well! We had a beautiful stay and stopped by Gannet’s both days for coffee / breakfast, hiked in Cairngorms and dined in Braemar, ventured to Stonehaven to see the Dunnotar Castle, and visited the city of Aberdeen! Kevin’s location was the perfect central spot for all our adventures!

Unser Aufenthalt bei Kathy war absolut perfekt. Das Haus liegt landschaftlich sehr schön, man hört nur minimal die Autobahn. Das stört aber nicht wirklich. Alles war sehr sauber und in der Küche gab es alles, was man braucht. Zudem gab es Spiele und Kinderspiele, so dass man sich die Zeit vertreiben kann. Unsere Tochter von war auch ganz begeistert von dem großen Garten mit der Rutsche! Die Gastgeber wohnen direkt nebenan, so dass sicherlich immer jemand bei Problemen oder Fragen erreichbar wäre. Uns hat es total gut gefallen!

A lovely cosy cottage in a great location for visiting Balmoral. We had an issue with the heating and hot water but contacted Heritage and Amanda got it sorted quickly without any fuss. I’d definitely stay here again.

There is much to say about sister and country cottages. But the main thing is that Jacqueline and Mark put their heart and soul into making these places so lovely. We have just spent a week here, and it feels like home. Our young children (6&3) absolutely loved it. We spent mornings playing with toys and crafting, and afternoons in the garden. They couldn't love it more, they found something new to play with everyday. What would be a lovely break for us is made so much better by the activities provided. The house is clean in every single crevice, with all necessities provided. The kitchen is so well stocked. There are treats in every cupboard, fresh flowers on arrival and so many thoughtful touches like the ingredients to make a delicious hot chocolate with all the trimmings. Jacqueline has thought of everything, and it is so appreciated. We are absolutely in love with this place. Watching the squirrels play while we have a cuppa is a complete delight. We can't wait to come back.

Judith and Mark were awesome communicators. They were there to welcome us and answer any questions we had. The cottage was immaculate and the amenities were very nice. Parking was super easy, which is not always the case in Scotland! The cottage was adorable and had everything we needed. They provided coffee, tea and milk, which was an added bonus. Sitting on the back porch, drinking coffee in the morning was so peaceful and quiet. What a great way to start the day. The grounds and scenery were beautiful too! The Co-op supermarket is a two minute walk and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone. Definitely a 10/10 stay!
