The bothy is on a working farm and sleeps up to five people. We are dog friendly and have the perfect enclosed private garden for our fluffy friends to stay safe in and a picnic bench. We are located just 25 miles south of Aberdeen and with very easy access to the A90. Children will love feeding our Shetland pony, Nicol, and we are surrounded by beautiful walks for families and dogs. Ben MacDui is a large, comfortable lodge in a peaceful, rural location yet only five minutes drive from the bustling town of Banchory - and even closer to the village of Torphins. This three bedroomed lodge has an open plan kitchen/living/dining room with patio doors onto a covered deck and a wood burning stove for those chilly evenings! A travel cot and highchair are available free of charge. Pets are welcome (up to two dogs max)

The Queen's Hut

The Queen's Hut This picture perfect log cabin sits on the banks of a secluded loch just a stone's throw from Aboyne on Royal Deeside. The Hut was originally built for Queen Mary, the wife of King George V, who enjoyed lunching here during her visits to Balmoral. The property has recently been renovated to a excellent standard and a special effort has been made to honour the history of the Hut and its location on Royal Deeside.
