We loved staying at this MMC location! It was perfect for my boyfriend and I to spend a week relaxing and working remotely. The WiFi was fast and reliable - we had about 4 - 5 devices connected at all times and had no issues with streaming or zoom calls. The cabin was big enough for both of us to work comfortably - with one of us set up on the main level and the other in the basement. I’m a little loud on the phone but with the door closed, he couldn’t really hear me. We only used the bedroom and bathroom on the main level but the bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was good. We cooked most of our meals in and found that we had enough cookware and utensils to make everything we wanted to make with no issue. We also used the grill - which was definitely a nice to have. The location is a bit remote (as the listing states), but we really appreciated the quiet of the street and surroundings. We’ll definitely book again!

Peaceful location and just the right size. We enjoyed our time sitting on the porch reading, eating and just rocking in the large rocking wooden rocking chairs while chatting. We watched the ducks and geese on the lake. In the evenings, we could see the turtles stick their heads out of the water. Although there was lots to do, we only took advantage of the pools. If you are someone who wants to be doing something and planning activities to keep little ones busy, you have lots of options at the resort where this cabin is located.

From the get go, my experience with Dareen was great. I reached out asking for things to do in the area and I was sent a list of so many different things from food to activities to brewerys and so much more. Anytime I messaged Dareen, I got a quick and detailed reply. Directions to the BNB were very detailed and even included a video. The BNB was very clean and we loved the location. All of the amenities were ass described and we used most of them. I would highly recommend booking with Dareen. I know I will come back if I'm ever in the area again!

Our group of 10 really enjoyed our time staying here. There are several great spots to hang out together inside, plus a great porch, fire pit, and hot tub outside. The house is private and peaceful while conveniently located near many nearby vineyards and breweries. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed too.

Our crew of seven (+ 2 dogs) loved our time here! This was an experiment of sorts to go somewhere slightly remote with no major travel plans to spend quality time together and see how we could entertain ourselves. For our family and kids' ages (10-15), 3 days would have been perfect, but 4 was probably a little much. We were about fifteen minutes from the nearest retail area, but it included everything we could have ever needed. The little park at the front of the neighborhood was expansive and clean; we walked through the mining camp museum then played family wiffle ball + soccer on the football field before the kids did sand volleyball (my husband and I opted out of the sand lol). We loved we could bring our dogs without having to worry about any cat dander (several of us are allergic). The stairs were too steep for the dogs, so they were naturally contained to the middle floor. Only heads-up is that there were carpenter bees - not harmful, but definitely freaked the kids out.

This is a fantastic stay. I had a group of 8 and it was the perfect amount of space for us. The secluded and private back yard and hot tub are a treat. There are no neighbors so it really has a remote feeling even though you are 2 minutes from downtown.

Truly the photos don’t do it justice! 11 of us stayed and there was more than enough room. Clean, modern, new home and the hot tub was a blessing after a long day! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our wedding weekend! Thank you both.

We loved our stay. The surroundings are beautiful. In the summer time it has to be a breath taking view of nature. The house is very well kept. Instructions were clear, we felt right at home. The open windows looking out were my favorite. The beds are very comfy, the sofa too! I had a hard time getting used to not having a bathroom door🤭 but I survived🤣. The kitchen was fully stocked. More than I ever seen at any rental we have stayed. They sure thought of everything❤️. We really enjoyed the outdoors using the grill and having a fire on both fire pits. We walked around the pond a few times but didn’t see much other than some tadpoles. A family of deer came to visit during our stay. It was just what we needed to unplug for the weekend.

This place could not be more perfect for our trip to DC. It was the perfect distance to the metro. Our group of 8 had so much space of our own, yet plenty of room to be together in the common spaces and not be on top of each other! We went in the coldest month of the year, so unfortunately we didn’t get to experience the best of what the outdoor areas had to offer but the views were breathtaking regardless. Melanie’s place was extremely clean and everything was provided and then some! Everyone in our group would like to go back in warmer months to spend more time outside. Before we got there, Melanie explained that there was an issue with one of the sinks in the cabins and said she would credit us accordingly. I thought that was great! It did not hinder or create a problem whatsoever! I hope we get to make it back sometime!

The cabin and location was magical. Difficult to describe how wonderful our whole experience at Still Point was. Coming from England we were looking to experience rural America (after 5 days in New York city too). The peace and tranquility was immediate. You are not just 'close' to nature - you are 'in' the nature with the cabin nestled in seclusion, the deck level to the branches of surrounding tree, we were even lucky enough to see a graceful brown bear as we drove up on our first evening. The cabin is homely with more than everything you need. My husband, 2 teenage sons and I had such a wonderful adverture at Rolling Ridge - it was difficult to leave. On a practical note - all correspondence with MaryAnn and Kira was brilliant - really helpful and informative. I found all the instructions really helpful. Loved everything.

We loved our experience at John’s cabin! It was so incredibly peaceful - our host could not have been more friendly & helpful, even on a holiday weekend, the woods were beautiful surrounding the lovely cabin on a hill, and the beds were comfy. We definitely wished we were staying longer than a weekend!

Abby’s place was perfect for us. We were there for Easter weekend with 7 people (family of 6 plus a friend). The house is very recently renovated and the finishes are very nice (tile in bathroom, hard surface kitchen counters). The place makes the most use of its space, with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There is a nice large TV in the living room. The views are great. There is a large yard, an outside deck and a fire pit. It’s up some steep roads and accessed by a gravel road at the end. Access is fine for most any type of car in nice weather, though that might be different in the winter. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils and cooking pots/pans. Overall, it was a very nice experience.

Absolutely adorable hideaway. Perfect for getting a little bit of peace & quiet. With the pond just behind the White Oak cottage, we could hear the soft burbling of the fountain all night. Very soothing.

The pictures do not do this place justice! The Cabin was much roomier and more comfortable than we were expecting. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back.

Jeffrey and Weaver Cabin to the rescue! We had a wedding in Loudon County, for which we poorly planned our accommodations, until the last minute. We found the cabin on Air B&B. Jeffrey promptly confirmed our reservation, and it was perfect! We have 2 kids (7 and 10), and they thought this was the coolest place we have ever stayed with them. The cabin was clean, and decorated immaculately. I must say, the beds were super comfortable. With the wedding activities, we didn't get to spend as much time as we would have liked at the cabin; however, we loved the time we spent there. Jeffrey was fantastic on responding to any questions we had, and was a 5 star host. I highly recommend this listing!

We loved our stay at the Tobacco Barn! Jennifer sent us all of the info we needed to get in and out and was nice enough to accommodate our last minute requests for early check in and check out. The place was amazing and I highly recommend it if you are in the area. The bed was very comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, the cabin was spotless and we loved having a fireplace and took advantage of it on a cold and rainy day. We enjoyed all the beautiful historic details like the tobacco barrel sink and original door. It was the perfect place for my husband and I to get away for the weekend and relax.

This is a beautiful place! The views and property were as described - lovely view of nearby winery's grape vines and mountains. The cabin was well thought out for hanging out at the property with a nice big front porch for dining and a patio with a fire pit. Loved the pew-style bench dining nook. The place was very clean and the fresh cookies s'mores and other treats were a really nice welcoming touch. One thing to keep in mind is that there isn't a TV in the main room (there are TVs in the bedrooms) so something to keep in mind if you're gathering to watch the big game. Overall would definitely stay here again!

This was a beautiful cabin tucked away in a serene community. The cabin was well stocked with towels, linens, and kitchen utensils. We appreciated the cozy atmosphere and fireplace. Every room served its purpose well and was extremely inviting. Our kids enjoyed the hammock and running around in the back yard without getting too close to the water. It felt safe, calm, and very homely. The internet connection was great! Whatever we forgot to bring for the kitchen was already there. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for being a wonderful host and so responsive. The property exceeded our expectations!

Lauren from reservations was amazing and responsive throughout my stay. There were a few hick ups along the way, but the team at the resort responded promptly and rectified the issues. The resort has a ton of activities and amenities that’s geared for family and individuals, and everybody even down to members were super friendly!! I will be returning!

The photos don’t do justice to the experience. A stunning lake view in a cabin setting with tons of fun for the kids. We canoed on the lake, threw the football, cooked a steak meal and ended the evening with s’mores. All of this with driving distance from the beltway for an amazing staycation. I will definitely be back for a weekend getaway from the weekly grind.

The Bedford cabin was very well appointed,. There were warm and plush robes in each bedroom and ample supply of towels and bathroom essentials. The beds were beyond comfortable. The main bathroom was very spa like with a large side tub that my 6’ 4” husband was able to relax in. The cabin was extremely comfortable, had well thought out furnishings and the decorations were pleasing. The communication with Jennifer was top notch. They also offered different amminity packages for purchase. I would come here to this property again. 10 out of 10 stars!

Peaceful place to stay in the woods w/wonderful view of mountains (& sunset) from front balcony. Serene view of woods from dining room with big windows that make you feel like ur eating outside. Decor is clean / not cluttered. Kitchen has all the things needed to make meals. We truly enjoyed our stay but only drawback is the house is not super accessible for those with mobility issues (cane). To enter house u have to walk around exterior to paver stones & then up some stairs to balcony. Garage can then be opened for access which saved us. There are a couple of steps inside the house between dining room/kitchen & hallway/office area. Stairs to downstairs are super duper steep - we knew there would be stairs but were surprised at the steepness so one in our party could not go downstairs at all. The challenge with that is there is only 1 TV in the whole house & it’s downstairs. With no bathroom downstairs our person staying in downstairs bedroom had to go upstairs for bathroom.
