beautiful property in a scenic and peaceful location!!! had such a great getaway - Michael was a lovely host and prepared a welcome basket with fresh bread, eggs and a bottle of wine.

My partner and I spend a weekend at Pia‘s lovely cottage and we loved every second of it. Check-in was easy and flexible with a personalised check-in code and the communication with Pia was excellent. She gave us a lot of tips for restaurants and activities ahead of time and responded to messages immediately. The cottage itself exceeded our expectations, you can certainly see the love and consideration Pia puts into every little detail. We got fresh breakfast supplies according to our preferences and enjoyed the amazing view on our little balcony while watching the birds. We loved the bathroom which had a big spa bathtub with bath salts and organic toiletries. During the day the nearby road would get a little busy occasionally (it was a warm summer weekend after all), but being inside the cottage you wouldn’t hear a sound so it didn’t bother us at all. It was a wonderful experience to stay in Pia‘s cottage and we can’t recommend it enough to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in nature

Fantastic venue. My partner and I booked this quiet getaway to celebrate new years. It had the peace and quiet we were after. The host was also very accommodating answering any questions we had. We highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a quiet getaway with a great and reaponsive host. 5/5 stars.

Absolutely lovely cottage, even better than the photos. Host also provided amenities and fresh bread which was such a treat, really cute get away for a short stay. Only thing to note is that the main road is close so you will hear cars driving past all night and windows face the public/ other guests.

My partner and I went to the Gembrook cottages, specifically Harem and it was a amazing. We were greeted by a lemon scent and beautiful interior that seems to be inspired by Egypt with splendid antiques. We had a great time. Highly recommended. Thanks :)

Thanks for having us! We had such a wonderful time! The place is well-furnished, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. Our toddler had an amazing time exploring the farm, interacting with the animals, picking fresh strawberries and veg, and enjoying fresh eggs for breakfast. It was such a lovely getaway and farm experience for our family including our dog. :) We would highly recommend!

The Observatory Cottages at the top of Mt Dandenong has been the place to stay in the ranges for years, and with good reason! We last visited Ironbark cottage 20 years ago and we loved it this time as we did two decades ago. It’s extremely cosy and private and you can easily spend a whole weekend at the cottage without leaving! The spa and gas log fire place are highlights, adding to the warm and cozy vibe. Penny leaves great provisions for a cooked breakfast for two mornings and there’s a kitchen if you feel like staying in. She has great communication and is very responsive if you need her for anything. A beautiful choice for a weekend of R&R. Highly recommended.

We had such a great time staying at Lauretta’s Airbnb! The area was absolutely beautiful and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. There were so many amazing sites and scenic hikes nearby, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Lauretta was super responsive and helpful anytime we had a question or needed something. Her place had such a unique charm, from the decor to the overall vibe—it really added to the experience and made it feel special. This was the perfect accommodation for a peaceful, relaxing holiday for our family of 5 plus dog! The home is absolutely outstanding, beautifully appointed with a fantastic outdoor area and yard. Some beautiful treats were left for us from Tricia when we arrived and she couldn’t have been more helpful with answering questions and giving recommendations. Everything you could need is available including luxurious linen, comfy beds, heaps of towels, games, DVDs and the most beautiful views from each window. We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Shaun’s gorgeous cottage, we felt right at home. It was in a great location - close to the shops, Warburton Rail Trail and only a short drive to explore some beautiful areas in the Yarra Valley. The cottage was super clean and Shaun was very friendly, responsive and excellent at communicating. I loved that I was able to take my dog on the trip with us, the garden was a great size and fully fenced and secure. It was a very peaceful and quiet spot. I would highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at 'The Cottage' Location was absolutely perfect, we were able to walk to restuarants/cafes, shops, playground and the steam train. We instantly felt relaxed and comfortable, and the kids were excited about the mountain of lego and the teepee. Decor, including towels and bedding was divine, and the kitchen was well stocked with coffee and tea, and had all the conveniences you could need, including kids plates, bowls and cutlery. We will definitely be back!

Everything we needed, comfortable bed and the couch was not low and hard to get out of. Delightful location on the balcony with Bellbirds and Fantails. Plenty of secure exploring area for our dog.

Enjoyed our stay in this property. This is the perfect location if you like coffee and if you have a dog. There is a park across the road for the dog to play in. Yarraville is a very dog friendly area. The house was very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Judith and Paul’s cottage was perfect for our stay in Healesville with our 15 month old son. The property was clean, tidy and had lots of amenities that were important to us as a young family, such as outlet covers, children’s toys, books and tableware. The back deck and gardens were stunning and provided a perfect spot to unwind. In terms of location the cottage is a short 6 minute drive to the Healesville sanctuary, and a short drive into town where there are lots of shops, cafes and parks. We can see why this property would be ideal if you have a dog! We will be recommending the property to our friends who like to travel with their pets.

It was our second stay at the cottage and we thoroughly loved the experience. The cottage is everything the description says - peaceful, serene, tranquil, pristine and so tastefully decorated. Kate, the hostess, exceeded our expectations again! Kate has thought through every single detail and anything a guest may need during their stay has been provided for. Our family spent 5 nights over the Easter break at the cottage. We were able to truly slow down, recharge and rejuvenate. Daily walks by the sea side, a well stocked super market and cafes around the corner, a beautiful and fully fenced backyard with a covered area for a BBQ were some of the highlights. Our second time staying at the Fig Leaf Cottage and absolutely love it. Great location, close to shops and excellent wineries, but still in a beautiful quiet lane with lovely scenery. Very generous amount of snacks and food, as well as a lovely bottle of their wine! We will be back! Thank you Margaret and Carl

This phenomenal cottage was one of if not THE best cottage stay I’ve ever had in my many years on Airbnb. Staying here felt like such a wonderful dream with all of the small details and private outdoor space to lounge around in. If you’re looking for the perfect getaway stay look no further, this is the one! Pete was also just the best host ever and made us feel right at home. Again just cannot recommend this place enough, 11/10 stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My little daughter didn't want to leave! She loved the bunk bed. It was a bit tricky to find, and my Maps app wasn't working properly. I was able to call Willeke on the way, and she guided me there. Willeke was very welcoming and said she was available if we needed anything. The cottage was comfortable, clean, private and quiet. Beautiful surrounds, nice and dark and quiet at night-time. There was space for our medium sized sedan and hatch to park side-by-side. Outdoor area with table on the grass was peaceful. Coffee machine with pods was much enjoyed. Thankyou! My daughter was asking when we will go back again!

We stayed for a week at Fermoy Cottage. It was much more spacious than we expected. A very comfortable open plan lounge, well equipped kitchen, very pleasant patio. Good shower, comfy bed, quiet neighborhood. Healesville is a great base for exploring the Yarra Valley, and has some nice shopping and meal options.

Charlotte’s Country Cottage is fantastic. It is situated in vibrant Brunswick, between Lygon Street and Sydney Road. Yet, it is a super private and in a quiet location, accessed down a locked private pathway, servicing only 2 properties. I felt super safe, given I was at Charlottes Country Cottage by myself, out all day and returning alone at night. The Cottage was immaculate, ultra clean, exactly as represented by the photos. When next back in Melbourne, I definitely know where I’m staying.

Laughing Kookaburra was just a delightful place to stay. We were there for a wedding at Avalon Castle but wished we could have stayed longer. Clean, comfortable, all the amenities we needed- and more. We loved it & the local birds that came to visit.
