We had a wonderful stay at The Granary. The setting is exceptional and you feel like you’re in a historic hamlet in the middle of beautiful, peaceful countryside. The hosts were great, leaving us to our own devices but on hand and responsive if needed. The Granary has been expertly restored as have the other historical buildings on site and the grounds are beautifully presented. We had everything we needed in the property. We would highly recommend booking a stay. Don’t forget your swim wear - the pool and jacuzzi are fantastic!

We fell in love with Evegate Manor Barn from the moment we arrived! It’s in a stunning location, felt very private and was the perfect first night away for us and our four month old baby! Larissa was responsive, understanding when we needed to change dates and was so helpful and welcoming! The pool and hot tub are an added bonus and our little one loved to see the chickens and explore the garden! Having the artisan village next door was amazing and we enjoyed our evening at the pub! This listing has everything you could ask for and we would love to come back later this year! Amazing hosts too, thankyou for making our stay so easy ☺️

What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

Plantagenet is actually one of my favourite places to stay in the whole world!! It sounds v dramatic but I travel a LOT with work and staying there just fills me with happiness. The location is completely beautiful, the cottage is so lovely and filled with such great energy. It has everything you could ever dream of for a relaxing stay. The swimming pool is awesome and so is the hot tub! There are so many beautiful spots around to drive to for lovely walks and long pub lunches/dinners. Tim and Maite are the BEST hosts you could ever wish for! They are so welcoming and extremely responsive. I have been staying at Plantagenet for a number of years now and cannot recommend it enough! I can't wait to go back for my next stay.

We had a lovely stay for our mini moon with our dog. The cottage was beautiful and peaceful with everything we needed. The hot tub was on and ready for when we got there and we were even given fresh bread and eggs for breakfast. Even though the owners lived right next door we were left to enjoy our stay with no disruptions. The location was ideal with amazing walks nearby and plenty of pubs within a short distance. We can’t recommend this cottage enough. Thank you so much for having us.

This is such a lovely cottage and we really enjoyed our stay. We loved the pool room and had complete privacy throughout our stay. A wonderful stay at the piggery. really clear guidance and instructions fron the host Clare and lots of lovely optional extras available. check in was easy and flexible. The home was lovely and clean and beautifully simple in decor. A really relaxing atmosphere. the outdoor space was calming and secluded. You felt like you were in your own little piece of heaven. Two lovely runner ducks on site who popped by every morning and evening to say hello. A really quick response from Clare when we became short of wood and it was delivered less than 20 minutes later. Lots of lovely homely touches and all the appliances, cutlery and niceties you could need. I booked for a suprise weekend away for my partners 50th and he absolutely loved it. A truly relaxing getaway. There is lots to do in the area including walks, gardens and pubs but we enjoyed the site so much we just stayed in!

We stayed at Badger’s Den for the bank holiday weekend. What a great place! The grounds are beautiful and well kept, the pool and spa facilities are fantastic and the cottage itself is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a weekend away. The location is peaceful and away from everything but you are close enough to the town if you need anything. Chris is a great host and couldn’t be more helpful, on hand with great recommendations to spend the weekend. We will definitely be back again

Nous avons beaucoup aimé le logement de Stéphanie où nous y sommes restés 3 jours. Il n'y manquait rien, il était très propre et très bien équipé. Il y avait même des jouets pour notre fils de 3 ans ce qui était très appréciable. Le pack de bienvenue fourni était très utile (lait, beurre,vin, chips, gâteaux, céréales, pain). L'espace extérieur est privé et très paisible. Nous n'avons pas vu l'hôte, il s'agissait d'une arrivée autonome. Le pub situé à 5 minutes à pied est très bien , nous le recommandons. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

The cottage was immaculately clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and very good value for money. There are lots of lovely walks from the doorstep. The Plough was very good and just a few minutes up the lane. We chose to eat in on our second night to make the most of the cottage and views. We hope to return again, with bikes next time.

We had a great stay with our dog and enjoyed exploring the local area during Bluebell season. The property is modern and clean and Tina was a great host!

For my first holiday away with my 2 beautiful children I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better stay. The cottage is beautiful, the gardens and surrounding grounds are stunning, simply a lovely place to be. We spent a lot of time in the cottage and use if the new fire pit in the evenings as it was so peaceful and relaxing. 2 main attractions for us were Pooh Corner with Ashdown Forrest for all your Winnie the Pooh adventures, and Hever Castle which is a lovely day out. Tennis courts and a lovely pool to boot ❤️❤️❤️ Caroline left some beautiful touches, some Easter treats for my children and a host of food and fresh juice, lovely 😍❤️

A beautiful little cottage in a beautiful village. We had an excellent brief stay here - felt right at home and the extra little touches like the hot chocolate maker and some basics in the fridge showed great care and attention from our host. A wonderful little place to escape to!

We would like to say a big thank you. We had a fantastic weekend stay at this property. The garden was 100% safe for our dog and we found it nice and quiet, surrounded by nature and orchards. Mark had left lots of leaflets showing what's going on in the area, and was very kind to recommend places to visit and eat/drink. The accommodation was designed and decorated with alot of thought and attention to detail, to establish a very comfortable stay. We will certainly be visiting again.

Had a lovely stay at Saltwater Cottage. The cottage was clean and tidy when we got there. There was everything we could need in the kitchen, a selection of board games to use and the back garden was lovely and very peaceful to sit out in. My son loved the bunk beds in ‘his’ room! It was just a few minutes walk to the beach and a 10 min drive to Rye so was in a great location. Thanks so much for letting us stay at the cottage, we will definitely recommend it!

Excellent holiday cottage set in idyllic surroundings, each facillity Within the cottage were as described and we felt imeediately comfortable! Local restaurants were excellent so much so we eat out all week, so very well satisfied all round My contact at beachy head estate office (evie) was excellent in Handling our enquiries before and during our stwy, so Evie take a bow for a job well done

It was such a lovely stay at Lucy and Nick! Everything was perfect and all the family so lovely and welcoming. The cottage, the surroundings, the animals, the region, .. I will come back soon for sure!

We had a couple of problems with our reservations and payment but Ann was super helpful and flexible and we managed to book the cottage in the end. We arrived quite late which wasn’t a problem and the house was easy to find. We had a great stay and can’t say anything negative, really. Very nice recommendations for activities and Ann and Bob were very welcoming! The kids loved the garden and the animals. Thank you for everything! If we are going to be in the area in the future we will stay again.

Fischer’s cottage is a wonderfully tranquil getaway in a beautiful part of Kent. The cottage was very comfortable, with everything we needed in the kitchen and a magnificent wood burning stove in the living room to keep us cosy on a slightly chilly Summer evening. The garden was a delight and allowed our two-year old daughter a great space to play. We even made use of the BBQ and outdoor wood-burning stove. D was so helpful with directions, recommendations of where to visit and which pubs and restaurants to eat at. We would certainly come back again.

We really enjoyed our Easter week stay at the The Long Stable. Andrew and his wife were very welcoming and supportive hosts. The location is idyllic, very quiet and private, even if other farm buildings are nearby you won‘t be disturbed and can make the most of the huge terrace. The cottage is very tastefully furnished and everything is to a high standard. All mod cons are available and the kitchen is fully equipped so wie could enjoy cooking ourselves as well as trying out some of the many pubs and restaurants within easy reach by car. You can stroll around the farm or nearby woods at your leisure, we particulary enjoyed saying hello to the newborn lambs one of which we were allowed to feed as well. The farm is ideally located to visit the coast (recommending Rye Harbour Nature Reserve), National Trust Sites like Sissinghurst or Bateman or simply enjoy the countryside…you really are spoilt for choice. We highly recommend The Long Stable and would love to return for a longer stay.

Charmant logement tant dans les touches de décoration que dans l'environnement, avec tout le nécessaire et bien plus encore (de quoi prendre le petit-déjeuner et des chocolats), parfaitement propre et bien situé pour visiter le Kent et notamment Douvres, Canterbury, le château de Leeds... Lieu extrêmement paisible avec une belle vue sur la campagne et des couchers de soleil hypnotisants, l'accès à un jardin adorable et la proximité de la faune sauvage. Jo est une hôte très accueillante qui a le souci de bien recevoir. Nous reviendrions avec très grand plaisir !

The cottage was a real home from home. Really important for us as we had to stay for two months whilst work was being done on our house. It was warm (essential in January and February), cosy, comfortable and extremely well equipped. John and Jane were thoughtful and helpful. After a very stressful few months we were able to relax and enjoy our extended holiday.

We had a excellent stay at Moatside Cottage. The location was beautiful, the cottage calm and peaceful, and very comfortable. It was also well equipped and we loved all the attentions (We used the guide for our walk at Devil's Dyke, played board games with the children,...!). We regret that we didn't have the time to attend the open gardens on Sunday, maybe next time. Thank you very much!
