Our peaceful 1-bedroom guest suite has everything you need for your Dannevirke stay. We provide free continental breakfast. Our Airbnb is within driving distance to several popular restaurants, hikes, and cafes. An ideal base to explore Dannevirke. The bedroom area is located in a loft with stairs for access. Hut style accommodation, situated in rural Omakere. A heated indoor 20 metre lap pool (*Sept-June*) and sauna are available for use. Great location for r & r, or just a journey break. An identical hut is available for family or group bookings. 14km from Pourerere beach. Reliable Star Link Internet. PLEASE NOTE - Bathroom is in a separate building 10 meters from the cabin. This is mostly private, however, on occasion we may have a caravan or motorhome here as we are a POP location.

Our place is a unique architectural designed passive solar, straw bale home with recycled native wood and natural clay finish. Enjoy the warmth, peaceful feel and views of the beautiful Maraetotara valley. The 30 sqm studio is located within the main house, has a separate entrance, private deck and parking with EV charger. Kitchen with toaster, microwave, fridge, induction cooktop and electric BBQ on deck. Continental breakfast pack for the first day is included.

The white sand beach is just a stroll away, ideal for all water activities/fishing, the 9 hole golf course is over the road, with the river close by. The township has all the amenities you need: Dairy, Takeaways, Coffee Cart, Petrol, Pub & Meals at the Country Club on Friday. Our house sleeps 15 - 3x bedrooms +bunk room - 9 beds, 1 sofa bed, 1 fold out bed.

It's just a 10 minute walk to the shops, cafes, theatre and is handy to the cycle trails of Central Hawkes Bay. The beaches and Ruahine Ranges are not far away and it's only a 30 - 40 minute drive to Hastings or Napier.

Nestled amongst the trees and overlooking the Mangarau Stream, this stand alone studio offers privacy and relaxation after a busy day of exploring Hawkes Bay. With Te Mata Peak on the doorstep and local wineries a must visit, the Little Shoehorn is a perfect place to base yourself whilst exploring the beautiful region.
