Nature cocoons you and you can reach out and touch the trees, see wildlife all around you amongst the pines. With breathtaking views through the tress and across the valley you are completely private having no other accommodation on the site making this a truly unique and special experience. It is a 3 min drive/15min walk to the bustling town of Stokesley where there are restaurants, cafes, pubs, shops, supermarkets, take-aways, a weekly Friday market and a popular Farmers' Market on the 1st Saturday of the month.

The Vicarage Annexe is a beautiful, one double-bedroom facility situated at the foot of the Cleveland Hills. The building was originally built as a prayer and study room for the Vicarage. This is now a self-contained living area with en-suite facilities. The Annexe is located in the picturesque village of Carlton-in-Cleveland, which is in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and this is an ideal location for a couple who enjoy the countryside for relaxing, sightseeing, walking or cycling.

A cosy shepherds hut on a working hill farm, in the beautiful North York Moors National Park. Simply sit, relax, watch the birds and admire the view or explore the surrounding area. Walk from the hut or one of the local famous walks such as Cleveland Way, Wainstones, Roseberry Topping. Helmsley and Stokesley are lovely little market towns to explore or Whitby and York both within an hours drive. We only have one hut, so there is no sharing of facilities and the area is very private.

The Annex dates back to the 16th century and is full of charm. You can walk from our Annex straight up onto the Cleveland way where you can walk or bike for miles. Our Annex is a popular stop off for people walking the coast to coast. We are also very close to some great pubs and restaurants.

Nestled in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors on our 100 acre Jacob Sheep Farm, close to the villages of Danby (3.9 miles) and (Castleton 3.7 miles) We are nothing like a hotel but instead offer quirky, comfortable, open plan, home from home accommodation in a tranquil setting. Arriving on foot, it is fully equipped with everything you might need. Close to Danby Castle wedding venue. We welcome all family pets and have plenty of fields for off lead exercise.
