Ueda: ryokans

典型的日式平层，有历史感，房间非常宽敞，房间多，适合一大家子人。可以烧烤，厨房用具齐全，小朋友玩具也多，屋后是一大片原野，风景很好。房东是美国人，比较热情。美中不足是离马路较近，当然乡间公路车不算多，另外不知道是不是用电负荷太大，断电好几次，虽然十秒左右就重启了。

A rural retreat, off the tourist path, but easily accessible by train from Tokyo. We were keen for some rural Japan after quite a few stops in urban centres. The house is in a quiet, unspoilt setting. You can do short walks from the house that can include views of Mount Fuji down the valley. There's other places you can pop into too, such as the Owl Cafe or the wonderful deli/shop at the petrol station up the road. The house itself has kept its rustic and traditional appearance and features, while also having very functional equipment, from Wifi to everything you'd need for cooking. Some great places to read and relax in, from the garden to by the wood burner. We did not have car which was fine - it's just 6 minutes by taxi from the station, but a car would allow you to explore further afield. Ryo the host was very helpful with answering questions rapidly and clearly. I would highly recommend!

We highly enjoyed our experience at Daisuke’s ryokan— yes, experience, because that was so much more than a « stay ». We were looking for a ryokan in Shibu Onsen that wasn’t going to break the bank, but would still let us enjoy the traditional feel; this hit the spot with the large tatami room & free access to the onsen baths. Book this place, you absolutely won’t regret it.

Shintaroさんはとても親しみやすい方でした。家の中やアメニティーなどを詳しく説明してくれて何の不自由もなく過ごすことができました。 素敵なお庭を眺めながらぼーっとするだけで満たされました。 また朝ごはんに手作りのパンとブルーベリージャムを用意してくれており、大変美味しかったです。 大満足な宿泊でした。

Es war super schön. Die beiden Gastgeber waren äußerst hilfsbereit! Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und einen der Onsen in der Nachbarschaft besucht. Die Lage ist super - es ist ruhig und man kann direkt zum Snow Monkey Park laufen (ca 1,5h) oder den Bus nehmen. Es gibt viele kleine Restaurants und Bars in der Nähe. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Staying at Hiro’s house was a genuine immersion into Japanese life and culture. We had the priceless opportunity to cook a wonderful dinner with him and his family, which we then enjoyed together while exchanging impressions, ideas, and insights about our respective cultures — all while tasting excellent sake. An unforgettable evening and delightful company. The house has all the necessary comforts. Highly recommended!

6 stars This is a classic locally run Japanese hotel known as Kofukan. Firstly, they don’t write messages on Airbnb. Just book and go. When you arrive at train station, tell taxi “Kofukan” ¥700. On checkout the hotel gives you free ride back to station. Two staff speak English decently, but all staff are so polite and kind, it is a classic Japanese ryokan and gives you authentic experience how locals travel, host and stay in Japan. Highly recommend. The onsens are amazing, very clean and fresh water, hot. They give robes called yukata to wear around the hotel, and the rooms have hot water ready all the time for tea, such a nice amenity. The tables also have extra blankets for cold weather, the room has space heater. They offer delicious Japanese breakfast and also dinners. Nearby you can walk to the local restaurants in the small town. Honestly if you are coming to Myoko this is the place to stay. Tip: frozen Sakura sweets across the station in souvenir shop. (Let thaw)

Very clean a beautiful shared spaces and the food was amazing. Just the right amount, great japanese and overseas match of flavors! Family friendly stay. Very recommend

A place where you can slow down…the space was warm, cozy, clean and friendly . The area was small and yet vast with mountains all around and apple orchards for days. This place makes you feel alive and yet so quiet and peaceful. Thank you for the stay and all the wealth of knowledge and care for making my stay feel like home :) I will be back again :) and recommend to those who want to slow down :)

大学の部活動の合宿で今回こちらの施設にお世話になりました（本来合宿プランでの利用は本アプリを介してではなく別ルートでのアプローチ、予約が推奨されています）。 合宿まで日がない中での急な予約だったにも関わらず、心を砕いて精力的に対応してくださいました。当日もあたたかい言葉がけや合宿成功のためのサポートをいただき、思い出に残る旅程とすることができました。また、きよみず邸の歴史のお話、周辺の見所のご案内などをたくさんいただき、大変興味深かったです。 布団やリネン類は大変清潔で、キッチン、トイレも使いやすかったです。キッチンの冷蔵庫や電子レンジは自由に使え、食器類も揃っていました。朝昼のご飯は栄養豊富で美味しく、特に朝からあたたかいご飯とお味噌汁をいただけたのが嬉しかったです。掘り炬燵のある部屋にはジェンガやカードゲームも用意されており、団欒のひとときを過ごせました。寝室の暖房も十分でした。 ここまで使い良く快適な施設で、オーナーお二方とのあたたかい交流をすることができ、思い出に残る良い合宿にすることができました。また、歴史に触れ、日本の建築の美しさや奥深さに思いを馳せる良い時間を過ごせました。本当にありがとうございました。

We had a fantastic time at this place. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Since all the rooms are upstairs, I had a peaceful and quiet stay. The bathrooms were downstairs, and they all had clean shared showers. The dining area was spacious with ample tables and chairs. In the center of the room, there was a cozy fireplace that created a warm and inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of a cabin nestled in the woods, with snowfall outside. We made some great friends during our stay and will definitely be returning in the future.

施設もリノベーションされていて、快適でした。 施設とは関係ないですが温泉は9時に閉まるので早めに行ったほうがいいです。 夜は星空がとても綺麗でした。

とても過ごしやすい空間でした！ 食事をつけるととても便利で時間が有意義に使えます！ また食事時間も指定できて、混み具合を調整してもらえるのでありがたいです。 スキー場までは徒歩圏内で、徒歩圏内に温泉もあります。 また利用したいです！ ありがとうございました！
