So glad we stayed at John's beachfront home. We wanted a way to escape the noise and chaos of a large city and this was the perfect fit. Granted the commute is longer, but we couldn't get enough of the amazing ferry ride from Rockaway to Manhattan/Wall Street. Such a great way to explore NYC.

A Perfect Serene Getaway! I had the most wonderful stay at this Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how spotlessly clean and well-maintained everything was. The space was beautifully designed, with a calming and cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The location was incredibly peaceful—perfect for a relaxing retreat. Whether I was enjoying my morning coffee on the patio or unwinding in the comfortable living area, I truly felt a sense of tranquility. The attention to detail, from the soft linens to the thoughtful amenities, made my stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a serene escape where you can recharge and relax, this is the place to be. I can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely be staying here again!!

Absolutely perfect stay during a meaningful and emotional time. We came to this beautiful lakefront Airbnb to celebrate my husband’s birthday after his passing, hoping for peace and comfort—and it was everything we needed. The weather happened to be beautiful, which allowed us to take out the kayaks and fully enjoy the calm and serenity of the lake. The sunsets and sunrises were absolutely phenomenal—quiet, breathtaking moments that brought so much peace. The home itself was spotless, cozy, and incredibly well stocked with everything we could possibly need—from kitchen essentials to extra linens and thoughtful touches throughout. You can tell it’s a family-owned home, filled with warmth and very well taken care of, which made it feel even more special. It was also very family-friendly, making it a perfect fit for all of us and plenty for all to do. We truly appreciated how kind, helpful, and responsive the host was throughout our stay. We’re grateful and hope to return .

This place is pure magic. We had the most peaceful, soul-refreshing stay in Woodstock at this beautifully decorated home. Every detail of the interior felt thoughtfully curated—stylish, cozy, and full of charm. The location couldn’t have been more perfect—right on the pond, where we spent mornings watching deer wander by and birds glide across the water. It was the kind of serene environment that instantly melts stress away. The whole experience felt like a retreat. Quiet, relaxing, and just what we needed. The hosts clearly care deeply about creating a space that feels special—and they’ve absolutely nailed it. We didn’t want to leave, and we’re already talking about coming back.

Anne Marie's place was exactly what we were looking for! It is extremely well stocked, with everything you might need, from kitchen appliances, extra blankets, many towels, etc. The surroundings were gorgeous and the area is very quiet and peaceful. Anne Marie was friendly and very responsive, answering questions quickly and flexibly. We can't wait to come back!

We had a great time, very cute house. We enjoyed the creek and lake view. We loved spending time by the fire pit. We even got to see a fox a few of the nights there. Really was very relaxing and would recommend.

Yariv was VERY accommodating of last minute time changes. the place was very clean and the location was beautiful! will definitely recommend and hopefully stay here again!

John is a great host. All the details were communicated before I even arrived, and he went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed and that I was comfortable. The location is perfect for people who are traveling to Manhattan as the Verrazano Bridge and the Staten Island ferry terminal are both right down the road. There is also a 24 hour convenience store on the corner, which apparently is rare on Staten Island I would definitely stay at John’s place again !

David and Ileana are exceptional hosts. The Long Beach Bungalow exceeded every expectation from the time I was greeted by David, throughout my week long stay, and the minute it was time to head back home. My intention was to have a week of rest and relaxation. A daily walk on the boardwalk and beach was invigorating. I walked everywhere. The supermarket, restaurants, a spa day, and a boutique. The bungalow is equipped with every amenity you could possibly want. That shower was AMAZING. But let me say, David and Ileana’s attention to detail and kindness is extraordinary.

Everything about this place was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and she had a great room set-up. I would definitely stay here again.

Jeff is a gracious host, very helpful and accommodating. The home is within walking distance from the trains to JFK airport and the rest of NYC and also from the boardwalk, beach and restaurants. The beds are new and quite comfortable. Thanks, Jeff!

Excellent spot to stay for a night. The home is well-maintained, and feels homey, safe and peaceful. Carmen, the host, is communicative and extremely kind. Free parking is available on the premises (limited) and street. Great location and provided amenities for the price. Would recommend!

This place is great!! Very clean and spacious. Our family stayed here while visiting New York. Just a short drive away. The apartment is located in a very quiet Neighborhood. Lots of stores and restaurants close by . Overall good experience and the upstairs neighbors were quiet, didn’t even know they were there . Definitely recommend staying here ,and we will definitely be looking the stay again in the future. Host was friendly and quick to respond with any questions.. Very happy with our stay!

Second time booking this spacious beautiful home. Walking distance to parks, restaurants, churches and so much more. Host is fantastic!!! Neighborhood is so quiet, safe. You can walk everywhere. Close to bus lines also. Will be booking again..

Walkable to nearby grocery, bakeries, banks, parks, and restaurants. Located in the middle of hill so be prepared to walk up the hill (or a built in hillside 4 story staircase) to get to them. On street parking only (owner provided parking pass), but you may need to babysit to get a close parking spot. Highly convenient bus stop into NYC is across the street by staircase. It is the last pick up you might need to wait for a bus that isn't full, but only minutes to wait! And coming back from the city you are the first stop so bussing is a no brainer! First floor flat so anticipate hearing upstairs neighbor's noises and busy street so anticipate hearing vehicles. Smart thermostat centrally located: home remained a comfortable temperature that we set. You will need to be tech savvy to figure it out. Great shower water pressure or temperature for our family of 7 and all beds were comfortable and wonderful after a 10 hr walk day in NYC. Owners very responsive to anything so ask!

Ayoub was a great host very responsive, I booked last min and he was able to accommodate and answer all my questions. Place was very clean and just like the pictures would definitely book again.

Die Unterkunft hat eine hochwertige Einrichtung, vor allem ist die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Alle Räume waren sehr sauber und freundlich eingerichtet. Die Umgebung ist sicher und ruhig. Die Fähre ist mit dem Zug gut erreichbar, zum Zug/Bus sind es nur wenige Gehminuten. Die Fähre ist kostenlos und braucht ca. 25 Minuten bis Manhattan. Insgesamt hatten wir einen tollen Aufenthalt, die Gastgeber waren immer schnell zu erreichen und waren sehr freundlich. Wir können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen.

We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. The house was very clean and looked just like the photos. The host was so helpful and responsive.

I was unfortunately in town for a funeral service and Shauna was very understanding about my situation and made sure that I didn’t want/need anything. Great basement apartment with plenty of privacy.

Super comfortable stay! Very spacious, plenty of parking and not far from Manhattan. Highly recommend!
