This is the perfect place if you're looking for a pleasant, semi rural location for a medium short or even a long stay. Alieh is the perfect host and the flat itself has everything you need. We were 2 Brits coming to OZ for a year and needed somewhere to stay for a month while finding out feet. This worked beautifully for us. The location is slightly out of the way which for us was fine as we could come back to our haven after job hunting and football training. Alieh was brilliant to deal with and took us under her wing. We had such a lovely stay at Hazel House. The home is beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming and comfortable from the moment we walked in. The lounge was especially cosy—I spent hours happily reading my book there—and the outdoor BBQ area was a great bonus that we made good use of. Sarah was a fantastic host—super responsive, friendly, and gave us all the detail we needed to enjoy our stay. The location is also spot on, just a short drive to Lake Wendouree. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for a wonderful getaway!

Sam's place was full of charm and we loved our stay. The mud brick house was comfy and interesting, and the bus cabin is really cool. Very nice surroundings and lots to do in the area. Sam was a great communicator and very accommodating. Would highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful stay in mt Macedonia over the long weekend. We spent most of the time hanging out in the lounge room and playing pool at night. It was great for 3 families. We visited hanging rock one morning and had a counter meal at the local hotel. We also saw kangaroos in the mornings. Adam was a great host, really quick with communication and had some great tips for the region. Thanks Adam and Erika x

Saeed's property was as described. Inside the house, there was ample space to relax and unwind. The house was clean and tidy and the BBQ was prepped and ready for use. The pool area was also clean and easy to access. The internal central heating worked really quickly when the night became cold. The house was set up with a swing, hammock, fooseball table as well as a few other games. Saeed was a helpful and responsive host, willing to accommodate us. I would mention that it is one large house on the property, separating guests from Saeed's family by an internal locked door (so noise could be heard from the other side of the door). The pool can also be seen from the entire house, so if you wanted privacy, this is probably not the accommodation for you.

Absolutely loved our stay at Brad and CJ’s property. The house is huge, the yard is amazing and my dog had the time of her life. The fireplace and the living area is gorgeous. Brad and CJ were super helpful providing early check in and late checkout to really maximise our stay. We cannot wait to stay again, and already have a new booking planned.

This place is fantastic! A unique comfy home. Heaps of room. Super clean. Very comfy beds! I cannot think of a single criticism. it was perfection. Would happily stay again.

We had a fabulous stay at Sailors Falls Estate! Margaret and Robert were so helpful and the villa was very comfortable. We found the nearby Daylesford attractions easy to get to but also enjoyed relaxing at the villa with a lovely wine from the cellar door!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt at home and relaxed. Everything we could possibly need was provided and the chocolates on arrival was a sweet touch! Narelle was friendly and replied to us promptly. Our first impression when we walked through this place was clean, bright and beautiful as shown in the pics! Thanks for a lovely, relaxing stay and we will definitely be back and recommend to our family and friends! Just beautiful! :)

Lewis went above and beyond what was required - we had long air flights across time zones so he made sure we had the instructions for the lock box. The flat is very close to lots of eateries and Lewis has details of which streets to look along. It’s close to the CBD and just opposite a large park, and the flat is lovely inside. A great place to stay.

A brilliant apartment for the two of us, situated in a brilliant location. The free inner city tram is basically 50 meters from the front door of the apartment complex. But it is also easy to walk to many central points of interest in the city. The apartment itself was modern, immaculate and cosy. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again when visiting Melbourne.

Light and airy, compact, neat apartment on Level 1 of a very low-rise apartment block in the heart of Fitzroy. Great having more space than just a bedroom when staying several days, including a small plant-filled balcony. Big glass windows let in lots of light. Very close to all the vibrancy of inner-city living (so expect a few loud people walking down side streets and some Tram and traffic noise but that's the whole point of staying inner city right?) . Great access to retail shops of all kinds, numerous restaurants, supermarkets, groovy cafes (even welcoming green park spaces not far away). Art's place was a great base for walking everywhere but also Tram-rides just a short walk away. I highly recommend Art's place.

We had a fabulous weekend here. The place was well set up for kids, our 5yr old had a ball and Kurt and Nanette were very helpful and welcoming. Everything required was provided and more... The location was super convenient for Sovereign Hill and other local attractions.

Simon's home is a perfect location to get around, especially a place to get a massage 1 block away! The amenities were nice as well.

Excellent experience, this rental has everything you need. Beautiful patio, huge interior space, and all the amenities. We’ll definitely be back!

Such a great and cosy place to stay. Couldn’t fault it in anyway. Secluded but also not too far away from the closest towns. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay. Accomodation was a short drive into town and the general Macedon Ranges places that we wanted to visit. The electric heaters worked well; as did the log fire heater. The accomodation was cosy and clean. Plenty of spare power points to charge mobile phones, laptops and camera batteries.

We had a beautiful stay at the A frame. Stunning inside and set amongst giant trees plus walking distance to the lake. Our last day was rainy so we gathered around the fire and the fondue set and put a record on! Great memories! The second bedroom is possibly best for small children.

Norsu Cabin provided the perfect setting for a weekend getaway with friends to celebrate a wedding. The cabin is a picture-perfect retreat, beautifully designed with thoughtful attention to detail. The interiors are warm, cozy, and inviting, making it feel like a home away from home. Every aspect of the space is carefully curated, and it’s clear that a lot of consideration went into ensuring guests feel at ease and relaxed. The atmosphere was just right for a memorable weekend, with everything you could possibly need already in place. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Kerry is a very warm and welcoming host. The cottage was clean, comfortable and cosy. Lovely surrounds and not too far from all the attractions in Ballarat. We'll definitely be back.

Susan's place was exactly what we were looking for for a weekend getaway from Melbourne. It's close enough for an easy drive, lovely scenery, and a very comfortable place to stay. Lancefield was the closest town which had all of the the food and restaurant options we could use. The bed was fantastic, and there were extra blankets, towels, and enough cutlery and crockery for a couple of people on a weekend away. We had tea, coffee, and very kindly some fruit and biscuits for us on arrival which made it feel right at home. The property is listed as pet friendly, and it's so well organised for the pup that we had everything at hand that we needed including towels to keep her dry when it was raining outside. The hot tub was great, and although the weather wasn't fantastic, it was lovely to spend the evening in. I could go on, but if you're reading this, and need a short stay away in the country this is the place to be.

This was a great place to go on a solo trip as it felt private enough but still safe, knowing that the main house was close. The place was exactly like the pictures and had all that you needed for a few night staycation. Carla was a great host she was very communicative, friendly and gave very clear instructions. I loved the booklet full of information and pamphlets, it gave me ideas of what to do and see in the area. Overall, I would definitely stay here again if I am visiting the area. Thanks Carla!
