Deep in the West River Valley region of Windham County, Lawrence Cottage is in a gorgeous and uncluttered setting upon Windham Hill. If you long for solitude, serenity and beauty, we have the perfect escape for you. We are convenient to all local amenities and activities and an easy drive from Boston or New York. We are near Townshend, Jamaica and Lowell Lake State Parks, Magic Mountain, Mount Snow and Stratton Mountain Resorts. This is Vermont--of course we welcome people of all backgrounds.

A Cozy House built for Guests

In the village there is a wonderful Diner. A Coffee shop, Food Coop, and a delightful Gift Shop. Our General Store, is the oldest continually run general store in Vt. Walking distance to the village and all that is there. The Next Stage, Yellow Barn, Sandglass Theater, these places provide an amazing collection of visual, musical, spoken word and world renowned art and artist to experience. These cultural event locations are but a mile away for the Cottage I hope you choose for your stay.

Historic Luxury Loft

Luxury loft in our renovated historic building in beautiful Bellows Falls, Vermont, a gilded age mill and mansion town in its renaissance. Room for up to 6 people, with a full kitchen and 2.5 great bathrooms. Just steps from the Amtrak station, minutes off I-91, and a half hour from prime skiing and foliage destinations. Enjoy the bustle of the downtown Square and explore its antique shops, art galleries, unique restaurants, Grist Mill Museum, Opera House, and parks along the Connecticut River.

The Round House on the Connecticut River

"River Round" offers guests the finest waterfront on the New Hampshire side of the Connecticut River with a private dock, panoramic views, and spectacular sunsets. A four-season destination close to skiing at Okemo, Stratton, Sunapee and more. Circular main floor with cathedral ceilings, exposed beams, and a fully-equipped chefs kitchen along with three bedrooms and three baths. Walk-out basement holds a large bar and kitchenette, two additional bedrooms and full bath. Enjoy life on the River!

Vermont Botanical Studio Apartment

This room is one half of a floor in our studio building (35 sq m). It is the only occupied space in the building, which is separated from the main house by a yard. There is a queen-sized bed, full bath (no-curb shower), and an outdoor shower (not available in the winter) Small kitchen with a sink, fridge, 2-burner induction hob, microwave/convection oven, toaster, coffee pot, and cookware. Arched ceiling, with ceiling fan, large windows, deck, and Maggie's botanical art lining the walls.

Welcome to historic Bellows Falls. This private, romantic escape apartment is the ideal spot to relax, go antiquing, or to launch your amazing ski adventure. Walkable location to town or to a lovely wooded hike. A fully apportioned large kitchen with toaster and microwave gives you control of your meals. An electric fireplace keeps the space cozy and beautiful. We’ll provide basic breakfast essentials, eggs (if the chickens are laying), butter, breads, milk, fruit, and so on. Pro Palestine!

It is nestled in the center of the Bellows Falls village, a short 5-minute walk to downtown, where you will find great little shops and eateries. We are centrally located in Southern Vermont ~ 40 min from several ski areas (Okemo, Magic, Bromley, Stratton, etc.) about one hour from Killington Resort, Mount Snow, and Mount Sunapee (NH), and ~ 20 mins from Brattleboro, VT, or Keene, NH.

It is located between Claremont, NH and Keene, NH making it a great midway point to access both for shopping, area attractions and a number of ski resorts. Minutes from I-91. Come and make yourself at home in this private getaway!

This custom build apartment is located just 10 minutes from I91. In the winter you are 30 minutes away from some of the best skiing around. Located on 85 private acres with great views this is the perfect winter get away. In the summer you can relax by the firepit, hike in the woods, work in the gardens (just kidding), collect breakfast from the chickens or visit some of the local breweries. I am as close or as far away as you would like me to be with my house right next door.

Just steps of walk to the amazing Okemo slopes, C Building is the closest property to the A-Quad/B-Quad lift and this building offers convenient parking right downstairs and free wi-fi (dedicated Xfinity modem, no issue video conference). You’ll love this cozy place with hardwood floor and private balcony and sunshine after skiing. Great sun exposure. Fireplace has been updated to electric fireplace starting from 2023-2024 season.
