Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Chestnut Ridge Retreat

Guest love the peace and the views here at our retreat. Enjoy a morning or evening in the hot tub, sun on the pool deck and swim in warm weather. Build a fire and relax in the pavilion by the fireplace or sit around the fire pit. Guests comment that they sleep so well in the room. Walk to property to see the chickens, horse and donkey. Just a great place to just relax! We have added a small chair that converts to a bed (not very comfy) if you are traveling with kids - we can squeeze 3 in.

You will find towels; extra sheets; cleaning supplies, fully stocked kitchen. Please be aware that we have dogs that bark. Pets are allowed limit one dog or cat. . NO SMOKING Available for long term rental as well. $50 PET FEE PER PET, ESA and Service animals welcome for same fee. Please purchase travel insurance as these reservations are non refundable.

The Eggplant Cottage is a quaint gem located in historic downtown Jonesborough, Tennessee - the oldest town in the state. Our Hope Home - Full Walk-Out Basement

A full walkout basement with lots of lighting! In the bedroom it can get dark enough for you to sleep in or you can let the sun shine through the blinds. There's one bedroom, one bathroom with a Jacuzzi (not an outside hot tub), a mini kitchen (no stove) big living room with big screen TV! Private entrance. Cozy and comfortable! You can retreat and feel renewed! Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra steps to clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces between reservations.

Quiet cottage in town

Guest cottage on a large, quiet lot in town. Convenient to ETSU, Mountain Home VA, Johnson City Medical Center, and just minutes from downtown Johnson City or Historic Jonesborough. This is a stand-alone tiny house that shares a driveway with my home. The cottage has a full bath with laundry, kitchen, a queen bed in the main bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living room. Ample off street parking for bigger vehicles or those pulling a trailer.
