Situated in the shadow of the South Downs National Park on a small rural road with hardly any neighbours our charming cottage is a great place from which to explore the unspoiled open countryside and its many footpaths around us. The nearest street light is two miles away. Owls, deer and the occasional nightingale are the only sounds in the middle of the night The cottage décor is fresh and modern with plenty of parking and a small decking area. Wee Wych, Hurstpierpoint-1 bedroom private annexe

Located up the private drive of Halton Shaws is the former Coach House, Wych House. Built in 1897 to house the horses of Halton Lodge this impressive dwelling enjoys a quiet spot close to the center of the bustling village of Hurstpierpoint. In 2019 the Nelson family moved in and set about renovating this beautiful Victorian property. Separate from the main house and accessed through the double garage doors is Wee Wych. This immaculately finished annexe is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom guest suite.

Ecopod plus day summerhouse and street parking

Our unique Ecopod was handcrafted in Wales, it is beautifully insulated with sheep wool and has a lovely smell of wood. The large double glazing doors allow you to make the most of sunlight, you are in the sunniest spot of the garden! The village has everything you need, four independent coffee shops, one bakery and two supermarkets. Further down you have the beautiful Hurstpierpoint, Ditchiling and Lewes, if you fancy more action, Brighton is 10 minutes away. FULLY HEATED for colder days.

Comfy and cosy hut in stunning private location

The shepherd's hut is located in a private and peaceful spot on our smallholding, on the outskirts of the South Downs National Park. The hut has great amenities and is heated. It has great access to footpaths and local shops and pubs. We are fortunate enough to have some wonderful wildlife here, including deer, birds of prey and woodpeckers. As well as our rare breed sheep and pigs. Issy is a land agent and Geoff is a tree surgeon, so we have a keen interest in nature and the environment.

Set at the foot of the South Downs national park this tiny but perfectly formed annex is an ideal base for walking and cycling. Explore the quiet country lanes or walk the South Downs way. After an energetic day sit on the patio and watch the sun set. Or relax around the wood burner. In addition historic Ditchling with it’s gastro pubs and museum is a short walk. Alternatively there is Lewes to explore, an easy drive away or vibrant Brighton with its variety of amenities and attractions.

Adjacent to the South Downs National park, with a pub/restaurant close by and easy access to Lewes and Brighton. Bear in mind we aren't served by good public transport. The 'Garden Studio' is good for couples, walkers, riders and cyclists. Set in glorious countryside with virtually no light pollution, come and enjoy the buzzards by day and the stars by night.

Pine tree woodland retreat

This architect designed self contained studio retreat is surrounded by pine trees and positioned in a secluded side annex to our main family house. The area is surrounded by walking paths and quiet country lanes. It is a newly renovated open-plan space with en-suite shower room and private balcony, tree-top views and direct access to a yoga deck. By arrangement guests may have exclusive use of the heated pool and infra-red sauna which is situated at the rear of the main house.

Green Park Farm Barn

In the heart of Mid-Sussex, our former dairy farm dates back to the early 1800's. The barn has been recently restored to provide 1000 sq ft of luxurious accommodation with wonderful views across the wheat fields to the west. Guests can enjoy countless walking and cycling trails from the front door. Brighton, historic Lewes, Glyndebourne, Hickstead and the South Downs are all a stones throw away. Gatwick is less than 30 mins by car and London a further 45 by train.
