We had a great stay at the Oak Cabin! Everything we needed was within easy distance and the place was really well stocked with all the necessities. The hosts were super helpful and gave clear directions to help us out. We are already planning our next trip back!

We really enjoyed our stay, the pod (pod 2) accommodation was fantastic and fitted our needs as a family of 4, with brilliant views that could be enjoyed from the hot tub. The onsite play park for kids was unexpected but really good and there was plenty of other space for them to play too. We didn't pay attention to which pod we had booked but there are different internal layouts and orientations/locations on the site so something we will be aware of next time we come.

The cabin was great. Nice space with a hot tub, but the real delight was the area. Lots of long walks, birds visiting the feeders outside the kitchen window, fields full of sheep birthing lambs. A great place to spend a week and half for us.

An amazing place in the woods - just lovely- 10 mins drive to Alton Towers so perfect.

This was my first time booking an Air BNB, and I was a bit unsure since I usually stay in hotels. We had a fantastic time during our getaway; the pod was warm and tidy. Traveling with our 2-year-old was a breeze because the garden was fenced, allowing her to play outside safely. The setting was stunning, just a short stroll to the town, yet it remained tranquil and serene. We enjoyed our evenings relaxing on the deck beneath the garden lights. Luke and Sally were incredibly accommodating, providing great suggestions for local attractions. We chatted with Luke both mornings, and he was friendly and easy to talk to. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home, and as soon as we returned, we started checking for the next available dates to come back because we enjoyed it so much. We definitely plan to return soon. Thank you!

Wonderful stay at Mallard Lodge, gorgeous surroundings and hot tub ready for us on arrival! Super comfy beds and dark bedrooms, just right for lazy mornings in. Lodge had everything we needed and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others. Really hoping we can come stay again soon!

We have stayed in many air bnb properties before but this was by far the most beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice, it’s even more stunning in real life. It’s such a tranquil space and totally private despite being on the same road as the owners. As it is away from main roads, there is no passing traffic and noise is limited to the sheep and birds nearby. The hot tub is a wonderful feature and was great to use even with weather being on the typical British side. The bed linen and fresh towels were obviously freshly washed and smelt divine. We are big coffee drinkers, so were delighted when we found a Nespresso machine in the kitchen - such a lovely touch. We are already planning our next getaway and haven’t even returned home yet! A girls night away in the cabins and we wanted to stay forever longer! When we arrived we were so shocked by how stunning it was, so quiet with only the sound of the river and the most stylish cabins and good sized hot tub. It had everything we could've needed and a very high tech air fryer. Anthony was very responsive and friendly and came out in the evening to fix a lightbulb for us. The hot tub was beautifully clean and a lovely temperature. I have sent links to all my friends and family because you must see this place! Thank you so much, and we will be back! Xx

We had a beautiful stay! The view was amazing and the facilities were perfect. We loved the little reception area where you could get games, DVD’s and toys. We loved the little Easter touches aswell! The lodge was VERY clean easy to get in to, very clear instructions on how to use things and how to get in. My son loved the big field in front of the lodge. Overall it was a beautiful stay and 100% would recommend

This place was really easy to access. This was actually a very last-minute booking and Sam was really accommodating. The space was ready to go for us, despite yeah I’ll see booking it at about 6pm. While we didn’t realise that it was nestled within a camping park, we found the space really quiet, private and lovely; the fact that it’s within a caravan park definitely does not take away from how conveniently located this space is as well as how clean and nice it was. We would stay here again.

Hands down one of the best stays we’ve ever had. Rod and Victoria have done an amazing job with the cabin and it just ticked all the boxes. You couldn’t ask for a better location sat between the water and the lovely horses behind us. How nice it was to be sat round the fire pit watching the boats go by tucking into some sausages from the BBQ. The little touches really made the place feel like home. The fresh bread and butter. The outstanding marmalade to accompany a nice cup of tea with some milk 😊 and the hot chocolate, biscuits and marshmallows sure did go down a treat with the kids! They provided all the fire wood we needed for the night so we could get the wood burner going which made the cabin feel lovely and toasty. They also gave you some feed for the animals which was such an experience for the kids and they loved it. Super friendly hosts with great communication. Easy and accurate directions to follow. Zoe's place was a great stay for our family of 4. It felt Cozy and Comfortable. It's Private and a 20 min drive to Wrexham.

This place is lovely and just what I needed. This was my first trip on my own (with my 1 year old pooch) and I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The cabin is done really lovely and with the enclosed small paddock it’s perfect with a dog. Will definitely book this again

We just loved it here. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The heaters soon warmed the place up at night. The area is loud and full of energy with the little chalet being at the Centre of it. The food at the Baltic Market is outstanding and didn't need to go anywhere else. Enjoyed a lovely walk to the Albert docks. But what made it for us was the Bars and quality drinks (the espresso martinis are amazing), my husband and I forgot we were middle aged and had a really good time! Even our very hard to please teenage daughter loved our little break. It wasn't a quiet peaceful break and we loved it for that! thanks Craig

We had an amazing stay at James'! He was very welcoming and gave us lots of information about the cabin & the area. Great amenities, clean and the most relaxing weekend ever! The bed is so comfy and you are provided with everything you need. I can not recommend it enough :)

I loved my stay here. The location was perfect for my cycling and trips to Burton. Really peaceful surroundings just the odd clip clip of hooves, a very pleasant sound. I haven’t slept this well in ages, the bed was so comfortable. The accommodation had everything you could need. I will be making it my go to place to stay whenever I’m taking a trip to the midlands.

Great value for money and very clean place to stay. Sam’s instructions on arrival were clear and made check in very easy :) the kitchen was fully stocked with the basics for our stay including tea and coffee, the biscuits left were a lovely touch there is no WiFi at the accommodation and signal is very patchy but I loved being off my phone for a couple of days. Wonderful stay 🙌🏻

We absolutely loved this place from the moment we opened the door. Everything from the meticulously sourced textiles/crockery etc that matched the setting so well to the detail in finish of the cabin etc has been SO well thought out. It was the perfect place to recuperate and relax in nature. We saw so much wildlife- even just from the bedroom window! As soon as we walked in we saw deer just behind the cabin, rabbits, foxes, woodpeckers, red kites…the list goes on. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets a stride away. The icing on the cake was the wood fired tub which was unbelievable! On our last night we had the most peaceful, still and clear night, meaning that we could see the most incredible amount of stars! Cannot recommend this air BnB enough and Trish was the perfect host. A lovely welcome with personal touches, attentive and friendly host. Thanks so much for such a great stay!
