I booked this property for my husband and his 3 friends for his 40th birthday. Wallace was extremely communicative at all times, and was very welcoming to the group on arrival. One of the guests arrived early and while Wallace explained the place would not be ready till check in, the guest was able to fish on the loch till later in the day, and thoroughly enjoyed himself! The property was as described, perfectly clean and the location was exactly what I was looking for when I booked. It was easy to find, and the walking guides and maps of the local area were very helpful too. Would book again!

The house was beautiful, spacious and well equipped. Ross was efficient and friendly, quick response to messages. Very clean and a nice garden. Pub in the village has great food and friendly staff so would recommend that also Only issue we had was that we struggled with hot water in the showers sometimes. The water was either freezing cold or too hot in the upstairs double. Overall a cosy stay and we would definitely return!

Georgie was a wonderful host, and very kind and responsive when we got lost trying to find the space. It was cozy, and her garden was lovely. It got a little chilly outside the room since the only heat was a portable radiator, but other than that, it was a great getaway for our time in Scotland. Thanks Georgie for your hospitality!

Marianne was a great host and was very proactive in her communication. The instructions to get to the property were spot on and easy to follow. The property is beautiful and as described. It has everything you could possibly want for a short or long stay. Gorgeous surroundings and we found ourselves watching the farm animals far more than watching the tv. Would highly recommend and will definitely be staying again.

We absolutely loved staying at Julie and Ians place. The scones and prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch and a fab way to start of our weekend! The location was just stunning and we enjoyed having a wee dip in the river at the end of the garden! Would highly recommend this place as it was perfect for making a nice meal and enjoying each others company. Thanks so much for hosting us!

We had a beautiful stay at Carolyn‘s cottage. It is very cosy and perfect for couples. It is very dog friendly. We could just walk out of the door to walk our dogs. We went hiking everyday and discovered beautiful spots. Next grocery store is 5 min away. In Drymen make sure to check out „The Clachan“, oldest licensed pub in the UK as well as the Coffee Shop.

We stayed here for a writing retreat and it was absolutely perfect for that. The private patio is very quiet and peaceful surrounded by a beautiful garden. Great location too for several lovely walks in the area and nearby several pubs. Dorrit and Dave were wonderful hosts, answering all our questions in advance and provided a warm welcome. Would definitely stay again.

Everything was absolutely fantastic, peaceful and private, like a little paradise.

We had the most amazing stay here, it’s in such a peaceful area with amazing views. The pods are so cosy and homely. Doneil was a fantastic host and added such special touches to the pod for my partner and little boys birthday. We even got to feed their sheep in the morning, which was such a fun experience for our little boy. He’s already wanting to go back. Thank you for such a fantastic stay 😄

Fantastic 3 day stay for my mother-in-law's 70th birthday. The cottage was perfect and we chose it specially so we could get to Edinburgb and Glasgow during our stay. Would definitely book again. Great value for money.

Had an amazing stay! Lisa and Colin were perfect hosts - really helpful and even gave us fresh eggs from their chickens. They’ve thought of everything you need and more in the cabin and the hot tub was a great plus. Cant wait to be back!

We had a great time staying here! There was lots of communal space, and a great kitchen for catering for so many people! It was wonderful to have a bathroom attached to every bedroom. Crieff had all the shops we needed a short drive away, and the area was lovely to explore.

Simply awesome

Beautiful home in a stunning location. You can walk to the end of the garden and get straight into the Loch, which had regular open water swimmers using it in various locations. Just a short drive into town for plenty of shops and places to eat and drink. The Lade Inn is literally at the top of the road, 5mins drive away, and serves great Haggis. Can't recommend a stay here too much, brilliant place to relax, unwind and get in touch with nature staying in a stunning home.

What an extraordinarily special place. Such a beautiful home to stay in - we were cosy and comfortable in a clean, warm and gorgeous house with beautiful views and absolutely everything we could need. Murray and Alli kindly provided plenty of great tips for the spectacular local area including restaurants, and we used their handy website to plan the walks we took. They were responsive, kind and excellent hosts. We couldn’t rate Appletree Cottage highly enough and had the most magical weekend there celebrating my dad’s 70th. Thank you! We hope we can come back soon!

A beautiful country house very near to Stirling with lots of great places to visit

We really enjoyed our stay at the stables. A great property and location. We stayed over Christmas and Debbie had put up a Christmas tree which was so lovely. The kitchen is well equipped. Beds are really comfortable and bedding and linen is high quality. Good walks around the property for our dogs as well. Couldn’t fault it. Thank you so much. A Christmas we will always remember.

We had an amazing time at East Kelt Farm, the house was very cosy and spacious. Carole was superb and very responsive. The local restaurants (Mango in particular) were superb, as well as many more options within a short driving distance. The farm is peaceful and the surrounding countryside is stunning. It was our first time in Scotland and we fell in love with it so we’ll definitely come back! Thanks for a great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Peter’s place. He made the check in process easy and we felt right at home. The surroundings were stunning and peaceful, we only wish we had more time there. His dog Hurrah was adorable and friendly and we felt comfortable, cosy and right at home. I highly recommend staying here.

Another fantastic stay at Jacqui’s lovely lodge. You want for nothing inside and we were blessed with amazing weather (without the arrival of the Scottish Midge) so could sit out most days after our day hikes. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and really look forward to returning over the next few years. As previously The Clachan Inn in Drymen is worth a supper out (ring to book no online booking system) and the Spa shop in the village is really useful along with the fantastic butchers. Jacqui was very responsive and left some lovely treats on arrival. Thank you again for a great stay.

Had a lovely couple of nights at Nether Glenny. Merlin is small but perfectly formed. Everything you need for your stay. It was also very cosy and warm. Alison had also left out a few breakfast extras and a bottle of fizz for Valentine's day which was very much appreciated. We had a delicious meal at Nick Nairns restaurant and went on one of the many good walks near Aberfoyle. There are two very friendly cats onsite who came to our door but they also offer farm tours if you are interested in meeting their highland coos.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in the Scottish countryside away from the hustle and bustle of village life, then this is it! An absolutely gorgeous place with Fintry a short walk away, a delightful rural outlook, a working farm & 3 x generations of a wonderful family working together. Magic! Only a short drive to Stirling, William Wallace Tower & Robert the Bruce memorial it’s a wonderful location.
